Q: Why are you using <pokemon>?
A: Because the restrictions in running this game involve only using rental Pokemon (as otherwise it would be incredibly easy and not at all challenging) Generally speaking, worse stat Pokemon have better moves, it's about finding the right combinations

Q: I hear you talk about PAL vs NTSC a lot??
A: I'm playing on PAL which is like 0.9x as fast as NTSC for this game (I don't know exactly, I did a quick calculation based on some timings with 5upa and it came out to be about 0.89x. And before you say it, no, it's not 5/6), so it's a lot slower. This isn't a real speedgame, so it doesn't really matter though, and I'm definitely not going out of my way to get a different version of the game. Just for comparison.

Q: Is that Pokemon Shiny?
A: No, there are no Shiny Pokemon in this game unless transferred. However, when Pokemon get given nicknames, it can slightly alter their colour (which is why trainers that aren't leaders have nicknames on their Pokemon to show off this feature)

Q: What does "Round 2" or "Round 1" mean in this game?
A: This game repeats itself over, after you beat Round 1 of the game you unlock Round 2. Round 2 gives the opponent different pokes, with different moves, and better stats. It is in general, much much harder.

Q: Why are you doing the Gyms in that order? Starting with Elite Four? Is that allowed?
A: Since runs are done with the game already beaten, you can do them in any order, so long as Red is last (timing ends on the final screen after you beat Red, makes sense to do him last) So I may as well start with the harder fights first! Doing Johto before Kanto because a death in Johto means more time lost than in Kanto, so get it out of the way first. And of course it's allowed, Stadium games aren't even actual speedgames!

Q: What is WR?
A: There is no WR for any Pokemon Stadium game in any category, it's not a real speedgame and is entirely for fun.
