  1. Something Else I've been thinking that might help with the scales of the species, and possibly the 'Medieval stasis' issue. Why not have the world be an illogically large world, with normal-esque sized continents. It would allow me to have steampunkish elements that make travel slightly easier, but also restrict technology due to having absurd distances between full sized empires. It would also mean that it could house multiple species within development and not have them confront each other until they can functionally transport stuff.
  2. Cons of it would be that I'm not sure about the medieval stasis thing, another would be that it would be really really large and that would bring up it's own issues with scale.
  3. Also would let interspecies conflicts be really large, and also 'Single continental species' Also would let giant monsters live in oceans due to it's massive size.

  5. I also like the idea of a Dyson sphere, but I'm honestly unsure about having an actual Dyson sphere. Like if you lived in one, you could look up, past the sun, and literally see the rest of the world. Sort of like Sigil. That would allow the world to be mapped easier, but a Dyson sphere is literally the absurdly largest thing I've ever heard of beyond "Space". It's a giant sphere the size of the Earth's orbit around the sun. Also logistics. holy mother of Dragons the logistics.

  7. What are your thoughts/opinions on the use of these?
