Sanjay Singhania is well known city businessman.But currently his memory last only for 15 minutes.Sunita a medical student and Inspector Arjun comes across his diary and find that.Sanjay was in love with a model Kalpana but he never disclosed about his wealth to her.They both were to get married.But Kalpana got killed by Ghajini Dharmatma another businessman as she found about his human trafficking racket.Sanjay to was attacked in the mishap leaving him badly injured leading to his memory loss.Sanjay&#39;s only motive is to find Ghajini and kill him.
Medical student, Sunita, is driven by curiosity to study the case of Sanjay Singhania, who is afflicted with short-term memory loss. She runs into him, befriends him, and finds out that he is out to kill a seemingly benevolent citizen, Ghajini Dharmatma. After warning the latter of the impending danger, she subsequently comes across a number of diaries written by Sanjay and attempts to put together a jigsaw puzzle as to how a successful and wealthy businessman became a crazed recluse, who re-lives his past through tattoos on his body, notes and Polaroid photographs on the wall of his Hiranandani Complex flat, and his sole obsession of carrying out his deadly mission - little knowing that Ghajini and his goons are out to erase every bit of evidence he has gathered and thus ensure that he ends up remembering nothing.
Since the time i heard this was a rip-off of Memento, I was reluctant to watch this movie. But i still wanted to see it as it was Aamir Khan and this guy has given us such big hits that now the anticipation surrounding his movies is mind-blowing.<br/><br/>Before i give the actual review, i must say aamir Khan has worked hard on his body and that year&#39;s hard work can actually be seen! The movie was atrocious. I haven&#39;t seen the Tamil version but i have seen Memento and if they were actually going to lift it from there, they should have respected it by keeping some flow. The plot is all over the place. The flashbacks inculcate a stupid romantic saga that does not make any sense at all. Action sequences are too much for a bollywood movie, these only suit Tamil movies where guys like Rajnikant can catch bullets and throw them back and yet get a round of applause from the audience.<br/><br/>I only like two songs, actually love them. Kaise Mujhey and Guzarish. rest of the songs AR Rahman has let us down, once more, after the below average Yuvraaj score.<br/><br/>I notice people are comparing Rab ne Bana Di Jodi and this one..On the story and overall message these cannot be compared as they are two different movies. On acting, maybe yes. Both SHahrukh and Aamir have acted well but as regards direction, music, and overall feel, Rab Ne is much better than Ghajini. Ghajini&#39;s plot is all over the place. Its a pure masala movie and it disappoints because Aamir Khan is there; the person who made us think..We want the old Aamir back please! Go watch it if u like mindless action and want to admire aamir khan&#39;s body. Otherwise YouTube his &#39;&#39;body in the making&#39;&#39; get some tips and just watch the movie when it comes on TV,. Its not even worth buying a DVD!
Short-term memory loss, violence, songs and witty dialogue sum up as &#39;Ghajini&#39;. A R Murugadoss&#39;s &#39;Ghajini&#39; is escapist cinema at its best. A winner all the way in that category. A Power-packed entertainer, with fantastic action, loads of violence, beautiful music score and first-rate performances! <br/><br/>What else to we need? Ghajini rocks. I was gripped from start to end while watching this revenge-saga. The film proved to be a Blockbuster Hit at the box office worldwide, and yes it deserved every bit of it. Bravo!<br/><br/>Lets Go With The Pluses First: Fantastic action sequences. Peter Hein and Stun Siva deserve an ovation for their extraordinary work. Beautiful music score by Oscar-Winner A R Rahman. Excellent performances. Aamir Khan is fantastic from start to end, his performance makes Ghajini a treat all the way. Asin is superstar material. Jiah Khan is relegated to the backseat, nevertheless she&#39;s good. Pradeep Rawat shines as the conniving villain.<br/><br/>Minuses: The film could&#39;ve been trimmed by around about 10-15 minutes.<br/><br/>On the whole &#39;Ghajini&#39; is a through entertainer. Go for it. Two Thumbs Up!
