Appearance: a twisted iron and blood diamond bench
Dropped:  Supported upon sinuously twisted iron, a blood diamond bench sits here, dark and inviting.

Examined:
Thin wires of blackened iron sinuously coil and turn about each other to form this dark and inviting bench. Deeply hued blood diamonds are fused together and then carved with a slight curve to create the seat, with plush cushions of black fur haphazardly strewn across the bench to lean against the gently sloping back of intricate webbing. Upon closer inspection of the backrest, the sinister visages of fiends among other tormented souls can be made out from the elaborate weavings of metal, the fiend's eyes caught with blood-red rubies that glow hypnotically within the ambient lighting.  Four twisted legs dramatically curl outward from the gemstone base, sharply angling back beneath to terminate in wickedly spiked claws that support and keep the bench in place.

Coiling, pitch-dark iron chains of three in number suspend this simple, yet darkly twisted chandelier from high above. A thick ring of the caliginous metal hangs from the shadowy chains, wreathed in rusted veins of ruddy hematite that glow subtly within the candlelight. Hooked onto the circular base at evenly spaced intervals are ten knots of iron that form the gnarled claws of a demonic thrall, each one bearing a sanguine votive candle within its contorted grasp, their wickedly spiked claws sinking deep into the wax. Threadlike wires  of obsidian-hued iron crisscross over the spaces betwixt each claw, hung with deeply glittering rubies, reminiscent of blood drops

Examined:
 Blackened iron strips weave together to create a long slender rod, the ends twisting into sharply spiked claws that hold a glowing blood diamond within their grasp. Bolts of ebon silk come together in a sombre affair to coil loosely around the rod, hanging down in gentle pleats until the ends slightly pool against the ground. These drapes are simple and plain, the only decoration being thin leather tassels strung with shining iron beads that hang down from either end of the iron rod.

Examined:
Supported by four sturdy legs, long beams of ebony are held snug together by two thick iron bands at either end to create the expansive top of this table. The dark wood is smoothly polished to a natural finish, and throughout sneaks and weaves veins of red-stained hematite that subtly glow within the ambient lighting. The sigil of the Heralds of the Dark Fates graces the centre of the table top, embedded deep into its surface.

Appearance: a deep, worn leather arm chair
Dropped: A deeply set, worn leather arm chair rests here invitingly.

Examined:
The soft leather of this deeply set arm chair is dark and worn, a faded patch gracing the seat where it dips slightly from years of use. Similarly marked and shiny, the arms and back of the chair are visibly favoured by the many for their place of relaxation. Plump, leather-encased cushions are perched upon a thick base of walnut,  the dark grain smoothed and polished to a dull, yet elegant shine.
