Parthia: Parthia is a western nation consisting of a conglomerate of smaller city-states, formed roughly 300 years ago. While state lines still exist, Parthia is generally considered unified and city-state lines are only really used for the purposes of tax collection. Parthia's ruled by King Elaric, and has been locked in a war of attrition that has led to Parthia's gradual decline over the last decade.  Parthia has an unusually high population of mages. Parthia's primary export is food and magical items. The Parthian military is focused on cavalry with a large number of mages.

Scythia: Scythia is a warlike nation directly to the north of Parthia, with the two separated by an expansive desert. Scythians are an industrious people, and famed for their craftsmanship. Scythians serve a mandatory five years in the military on turning 18, although many are drafted back in in times of war. Scythian warfare primarily focuses on lightly armored mounted units, although their archers are also legendary.

Jutland: Jutland's primary feature is its inner sea, the water of which is contaminated to the point of serving as a deadly poison to most forms of life. Despite this, Jutland is flush with plant life. A few eccentrics make their home here, but for the most part Jutland is devoid of any kind of animal life.

Jaqaru: Jaqaru is the easternmost country on the Axehead, and is covered in heavy jungle with a few open plains. Jaqaru's inhabited primarily by humans, but has a significant population of beast races as well. Jaqaru's primary export is lumber, although most of their exporting is done by sea due to their relatively remote location.

Dahea: Most of Dahea is composed of a series of islands known as the Shattered Isles. Dahean leadership is primarily tribal due to the isolated nature of their settlements and the harsh weather preventing easy travel for much of the year. Dahea's primary export is animal resources such as whale oil.

East Alban: The most densely populated country of the Axehead, East Alban is the trade hub of the continent. Their primary export is in finished goods. Most imports into East Alban come either over land from Parthia or by sea through the Osraigen port of Maistiu.

Muroia: S'fuckin empty lad.

Osraige: The largest naval power of the continent, Osraige primarily produces ships and cargo space.
