- Well, this was a confusing turn of events. Some weird person had just, walked up and challenged her to a fight. She... She honestly had no idea what was going on with that, but... She supposed she would?
- "Alright?... Hey, your funeral."
- Cyano would keep the Frivalties to a minimum, before summoning her clone, covering herself in aura, and going to town on whoever this was. Just because she didn't know, doesn't mean she was going to go easy
- (Cyano Conablum)
- Well... That was weird. But, whoever it was ran off. She really, really didn't want to get more involved in that then she already was. Regardless, the lake, Kyrian. She was here for a reason. But... She had forgotten that reason. She would need to make something up. Would be odd if they came out here for no reason at all.
- "So... Uh, magic! You use energy magic right. That is what we shall do today. Peaceful places like this make it easier to practice with it, you see."
- That part, Cyano wouldn't actually know. But, it was something. And anything was better then nothing at the moment. Plus, magic was something she wanted to see. She wanted Darjeeling to be here too. But, she couldn't find her at the moment. So, that would have to wait.
- (Cyano Conablum)
- As Kyrian remained there on the floor staring into the pond. He would hear Cyano speak.
- "Okay, so how do I practice with my magic? I barely know anything about it. I just know how to use it." he would reply to her as he turned around to stare at her.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Hmm, how to practice magic. Well, there was a book on that as well, actually. Theories on Mana Cohesion. She remembered it fairly well, and it's teachings could be found in just about every book on magic she had read. It was basically the basics to learning to control just about every magic one could learn
- Cyano would pull out a small notebook of hers. A number of small notes would be written in it, and, if Kyrian looked, it's pages would be near infintesmal. Flipping through it for a bit, she would find where she had written down her notes on Mana Cohesion.
- "Ok so, to start, you will need to look inside of yourself. Magic comes from mana, and mana is found inside of you, and your mana circuits. You need to become in tune with them, and learn to control them. That, I don't know how to do. As far as I know, it is different for everyone."
- (Cyano Conablum)
- Kyrian would cock his head to the side as he couldn't merely understand the concept of reaching into his self and to become in-tune with his mana and mana circuits and learn how to control him.
- His mind then automatically went to the answer.
- Extending his claws. He clenched his teeth together as he squinted his eyes as he stared down upon his chest. Readying himself for pain.
- Aiming his claws towards his chest. He would attempt to rip open his chest and "control" his mana and mana circuits. He thought inside of himself were two lose wires that needed to be man handled into placed. Hence being controlled. The worse part about this idea was that he was about to mess up his favorite set of clothes that Cyano had got for him. At first he didn't think of it at much. But later on he became fond of it. But as Kyrian's claws had touched his shirt. Cyano gave him a wild glance, causing him to halt his moments. He would then pout.
- "What am I supposed to do then? By the way you worded it, it sounded like every magi does it. So I thought I would heal myself magically or something. I'm new to this magic stuff!" he retorted towards Cyano's stare.
- But as he waited, it seem that Cyano had nothing more to offer him. So he just replyed with "Whatever". Soon to close his eyes and sit there. His thoughts boggled around in his mind. Trying to figure out how he could do such a thing. Control the mana within himself? How is that possilble? How could he- Ooh. . . .
- Kyrian calmed his state of tone. He remembered how he had done it before. He always had. How he was able to use "magic". Which always resulted in his emotions. So if he was able to control himself. Calm down himself and search through each of his emotions. Then maybe. Just maybe it would work out.
- Before long, Kyrian was in a deep meditation as he controlled his thoughts. It didn't take long as a shroud would take form over his being as he remained there in a calm state
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Hm, Cyano was pretty sure he would be able to do it, aside from the rough start where he tried to rip into his own chest. Just about any one who had any experience using magic could do it. Though, perhaps she was wrong?
- Well, actually it seems she would not be. She wold notice Kyrian get a knowing look on his face, before sitting down and falling into a meditation. Cyano would sit and watch for a few minutes, to see what would happen. And, indeed something would happen.
- Pulling out her notebook again, Cyano would begin to record what Kyrian was doing. This would be her first actual field notes on something, but this was quite interesting. He was managing to do it on his first time, through... emotions most likely. Given his upbringing as a wild Ookami
- (Cyano Conablum)
- "Huh. . . .This is. . . weirdly. . . pleasing. . . I wonder if I'm doing this rig-"
- Ack!
- Kyrian would feel as if he was warped inside out as his field of emptiness would feel as it was beaming back and forth like the city lights when your running super fast and try to catch a glance.
- Before long, Kyrian felt dizzy and uneasy as he would soon be presented in the present. Causing him to woozly get up. But being off balanced had its moments as he would fall into the pond which was laid out infrot of him. Crashing hard into the water head first. Only to stand up moments later with a lily pand on his head. Seconds later would he spit out water as he stared up at Cyano.
- "I hope that there was some meaning through that. . . " he said grumply
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Cyano would continue writing in her notebook as Kyrians focus faltered. As his mana manifested around him, a theory would pop into her head. One she would need to work on at a later time. For now, she would set the notebook back into her bag and head over to assist Kyrian out of the water
- "There was actually. And, you basically fulfilled the first part of it. You got focused, managed to manifest and control your mana. The next part you need to work on is controlling it."
- Cyano would hold her hand out to help him up, but specifically leave the lily pad on his head. He would have to take that off himself
- (Cyano Conablum)
- Taking up Cyano's offer to pull him up, Kyrian would rise from the pond with his exact grumpy attitude.
- "Well, then. Lets go onto part 2 before the pain in my head explodes and becomes worse." he said nonchalantly.
- He then would focus once more, and simply with ease. An energtic shroud would form around him. Wrapping close to his body and burning bright with energy. Before long, his clothes would be dried up in a couple of seconds.
- Only later he would switch it off and take the lily pad off of his head and throw it back in the pond. Then he would notice Cyano look at him. So he explained his action within a few seconds. "I found out that the shroud I can form heats up the surrounding air beside me. So sometimes I use it to dry me off. Thats all. " he said before going on to his question.
- "How do I exactly control it?"
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- So, he wanted to know how to control it. That... Was easier said then done. She didn't really know a way for him to control it. Though... She would pull out her notebook again. Hmm, her theory. It could possibly be the key to controlling his mana as well. Thus, making him stronger.
- "Alright. You seem to be very emotionally driven. So, most likely you will need to draw from those. Your young, so, I suggest thinking positive things. Though, this is only a theory. If this doesn't work, it's off to the library to do some reading."
- Cyano would begin jotting words into her notebook. She was quite interested in how this would go. If it went well, then it was good, things would move fast. Though, if not it would just be an excuse for more research, and that was always fun.
- Of course, all this focus reminded her. She still had a sample of Kyrian's hair preserved. She would need to do something with that. But, she needed just a bit of help first.
- (Cyano Conablum)
- " That notebook. . .
- A curious look would be shown on across his face as he stared at Cyano. She always seemed to be getting info and advice from that book of hers. What exactly was in that thing? But he couldnt let that bother him now. He needed to figure out what new powers he was going to get from this sort of training.
- "Emotionally driven?. . . . that means that I use my powers based on how I feel right? " he asked to confirm his thoughts. He was starting to get the hang of these words thanks to Cyano and the library. But now wasn't for words.
- "Positive things? Got it. . . ." he would say. Before long. Kyrian would attempt at the same feat. Sitting down, but in a much more confortable way. Quick to close his eyes and drive out his boggling thoughts. Before long. He would only concentrate on good things. Things that he likes. Things that made him feel safe. The food that he always loved. Just things that over all made him feel welcomed.
- But things didn't work over like before. All he was stuck in was happy thoughts. But no energtic movement. He felt nothing flowing or anything of the such. But the thing was. Kyrian was to lost in his happy thoughts. He was too focused into his mind. Leaving himself in good thoughts. Remembering the time that Krosious had killed his first rabit. All the way when his brothers recieved magic powers! Kyrian was happy for them yes. But he was upset that they choose the be one with the "Outsiders: But now, he was doing the same. Such hypocrisy right?
- After minutes to almost an hour of being within his deep thoughts. Tears would soon fall from his eyes as he sat there. Then quickly, Kyrian would wipe his tears away. He promised that he wouldn't cry any more. But here he was crying. But he couldn't help it. It was sad that he couldn't relieve his childhood.
- "Wait gimme a minute just wait! " he would retort as he sobbed.
- Before long he wiped away the rest of his tears and cleaned up his act he would look at Cyano.
- "Just once more. . . I got this." he said with determination
- Then he was at it again. Clearing his thoughts once more just so he could focus on the positive things. But he feared that the same transaction would happen again. So he switched up. Instead of thinking of just 'only' positive thoughts. He would just focus on his being. Then he would force himself to feel like he needed to attack a being. Before long, an shroud would form around his being. But it wasn't of pure energy. No. It would be of his mana. But it was harder to manipulate than just bursting out raw energy and have it flowing externally of his being. This time. It was a sort of mixture of energy and mana coming from within. Before long. He found that he was brought to the same place as before. A pleasing and rest assured place that made him feel calm at all times.
- But he knew that he finally had reached the state. The state of whre he had controlled his mana from within. But now what? What was he supposed to do from this point on?. . . .
- This time, he seperated from his inner self for a while to glance up towards Cyano and ask her.
- "Okay, I got control over it. . . . I think. . . Now what?" he ask curiously
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Well, he was at it again. Cyano would again start recording what was happening in her book. At first, not much would happen. He seemed happy, but it wasn't quite what he needed. So, while he did that, Cyano would flip over and begin working on another theory. This one, on the artifical life mentioned in Artisty in Magic Vol. 2. It would be fairly simple... But, at the same time it had multiple, if not hundreds of variables.
- She would write on that for a short while, until Kyrian would start crying. She would go to say something, but, he would quickly call out that he could do it, so, she wouldn't say anything. Rather, she would flip back to the page with her notes on him.
- It would take a little bit, but she would notice a visible change in him, and the mana he put out. The child would be, almost prodigal in his mastery over the stuff. But, it would no doubt be helped by Cyano teaching him. At least, she would think so. It probably was though.
- "Hmm, next. Well, you seem to have pretty good control over your mana. Your going to want to keep working on that. At least once a day, probably. For now though, we're done. Things need done in moderation. That, and I have a few things I need to get done..."
- Cyano would look back at her notebook. It would be somewhat difficult to find someone to assist her, but, she would find some way to get someone. Maybe posters?...
- (Cyano Conablum)
- Getting up from his place. He kinda wanted to finish what he was doing. Was this really helping him. He couldn't tell. As far as he knew. He was just glad that he seemed to please Cyano. There was just something about her now that attracted him for her. He knew that he was younger than her. But he couldn't tell by much as her figure was young. And he knew better not to ask as he feared another 'nightmare' from her.
- She earned his trust,as he learned from her and experianced new things that he never thought he would. But he still feared her. But anyway, if she said it was done. So be it.
- "So what now? " he asked
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Hm, what next... What next? She wasn't sure right now. But, she could think of something. Perhaps they could head over to the market or rosecourt? There, she could handle what she needed done, and give him a bit of entertainment. If he wanted to go.
- "Well, the rosecourt I suppose. Unless you have other stuff you need to do"
- (Cyano Conablum
