 06[22:04] * Drake_Finnagin keels over heaving the last of the LCL out into a drain on the floor. He quivers ever so slightly as he straightens up, his breathing shallow.
 06[22:05] * Viktor_von_Arnauld spits out a mouthfull of LCL "This stuff come in a more-" PHEW "-benign Flavor?"
[22:06] <Keith_Sowards> :: "A coffee will do for now," he says as he finds a chair in the office, "So... Just how much of your funding did you spend on that little show"
 06[22:06] * Akiko_Kimura was leaned over, violently coughing out the LCL.
 01[22:06] <@Rags> "THe neccessary chemical addatives for that would harm its effectiveness im sorry to say. Just be glad you get ti after some refining." Mark says with a friendly voice
[22:08] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "Good to know. I'll take some water, just water"
 01[22:09] <@Rags> Andrew seems amused as he buzzes his secretary for the coffee. "Uhm. Sugar, milk? Anyway hardly anything. The training area you went trhough has been paid for a while ago and the rest was the Magi using its proccessing power. An acceptable loss given Rapture's large computing power. Ice cold water does help with cooling you see."
 01[22:09] <@Rags> A man walks over to Viktor and hands  him a bottle of water.
[22:10] <Drake_Finnagin> "I just need a seat..." Drake's voice is uncharacteristically soft.
 01[22:10] <@Rags> A bucket is brought for Akiko as well as a moist towel so she can refreshen herself.
 06[22:11] * Akiko_Kimura finishes coughing out the LCL and wipes her face with the towel. She stood back up with a scowl on her face.
 01[22:11] <@Rags> At Drake's request though the staff has to shake their heads, one of them made a note. "uhm. Steve get off your ass. You can sit there if you want to. " Mark signalled a medic to keep an eye on Drake.
 06[22:12] * Drake_Finnagin carefully makes his way to the chair, sitting gently as he takes his head in his hands, gaze locked on the floor. "I.....I....I'm so sorry....."
 06[22:12] * Viktor_von_Arnauld takes a good swig of water, and spits it out before taking another and swallowing "ok. Just what the hell was that?"
[22:13] <Keith_Sowards> ::"Some cream would be lovely. Also glad that you did not spend too much on that test, because seeing if 3 pilots that have not been formally trained and only one that even knew what an Eva was could handle that threat was an uneeded test. The time could have been spent removeing the untrained part of the equation"
 01[22:16] <@Rags> "A training simulation. A special one because we did what we could to make you bellieve its real. As such I have to apologize to you Drake. We worked together a lot in the past and I hope you can look past your immediate, and very understandable, emotions to see that you all essentially got you batpism of fire. Without any actual chance of someone being burned." :At andrew's office: "True however I have been assured by our science division that if we had any chance of making everyone beliefe that it was really real we needed them off guard. We, especially you, still got a good look on how they behave when shit hits the fan for real."

 06[22:18] * Drake_Finnagin sits silently, pain evident in his posture.
 06[22:19] * Akiko_Kimura stands there with her arms crossed.
[22:20] <Keith_Sowards> :: "They took some time to even get started, but that is expected. They are not used to being 40 meters tall"
 1[22:21] <@Rags> Andrew: "Glad to hear. I hope there arent any hardfeelings. THe mind can understand so much but I can imagine some anger. Ah here are our drinks." An elderly woman enters with your beverages and gives a friendly smile to keith as she hands him his coffee. "now tell me honestly. What did you see in their soul when it all went to hell?" :Scene change: Mark Tennenbaum; "Oh no Viktor not at all. THis gives us hugely valuable data to work with at the least." The medic bends down to Drake and looks him in the eyes with a kind smile. Her hands check his pulse. "Whats wrong sweety."
 06[22:22] * Viktor_von_Arnauld looks over at Akiko and Drake "and... you guys wernt in on it either huh?"
 06[22:23] * Drake_Finnagin glances at her before looking away. He coughs gently. "....I wasn't....good enough......If this had been real....everyone would be dead....because of me....."
 01[22:24] <@Rags> Mark: "They werent. The integrity of this life like simulation would have been compromised. Akiko are you allright? Any problems or abnormalities your experiencing?" He grabs his note book as he looks at Akiko, ready to make notes.
[22:24] <Keith_Sowards> :: "Lets see, Drake was over confident, Victor was honestly panicced at first, Akiko.. to be honest she is still a bit of a mystery, not much of a talker"
 01[22:27] <@Rags> Nelson appears behind Drake and lays a hand on his shoulder. For a moment he truly looked like an ancient mariner from legend. "You carry the responsibility of a captain in a storm lad. You, all of you did indeed fail. But you were meant to, you needed to see the price of failure before you can understand the sweetness of victory, and the life it entails Drake.  You fought till the bitter end. Never forget that part of you."
 01[22:28] <@Rags> Andrew: "I cant help but notice how you neglected to mention one other person Keith." He sipped from his tea.
[22:30] <Akiko_Kimura> "...I'm *fine*." She looks to an exit out of here. "Where do I stay? Where are my things?"
 06[22:30] * Drake_Finnagin 's spirit seems to steady as he feels the hand upon his shoulder, and his superior's words wash over him. His demeanor is still cold, but it has lost its fragility. "Yes sir."
[22:31] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "i dont know about you guys, but after all that, i'm feeling a little drained... anymore surprises today? or can a go someplace and crash?"
[22:31] <Keith_Sowards> ::"I had figured that you asking what I saw in them that you were discussing the pilots. I had only so much time to get them to even start moving the Evas. If I had a better route I could have saved some time" He sighs a bit "Its quite the maze of tubes in here"
 01[22:31] <@Rags> Mark Tennenbaums scribbles something down. It takes noticable longer then simply 'fine' would. "Once your all ready we will be bringing you to your new home."
 06[22:32] * Drake_Finnagin slowly stands. "At the ready, sir."
 06[22:32] * Viktor_von_Arnauld whispers to himself "home..."
 01[22:34] <@Rags> Andrew laughs out loud. "yeah it is. But the training area was designed to simulate a variety of enviorments. We packed as much in as we could. Well then have the rest of the night off with your pilots. Ill have your full review report, ust like ti would be in a real battle, in a couple of days. Take your time to mill over it. Unless of course you have something?"
 06[22:34] * Akiko_Kimura 's grip tightened, nails digging into her skin.
 01[22:37] <@Rags> Mark looks cheery at everyone's readiness. "Good to hear. However you still have plenty of tests and decontaminations to go through before we say your ready." At that point several of the staff begin to nudge you towards your individual booths. Doctors and equipment standing by.
 06[22:37] * Viktor_von_Arnauld shakes himself out of his stuper "what kind of diggs do guys have?"
[22:37] <Keith_Sowards> ::"I think that is all for now," he stands up, "Oh I would like a report on what the Angel's target would be if it attacked. If we know what that would be."
 6[22:38] * Drake_Finnagin makes his way purposefully into his booth, breathing carefully self-regulated by this point.
 06[22:39] * Akiko_Kimura complies for now, but it's obvious that she's getting more and more irritated by the minute
 01[22:39] <@Rags> Andrew suddenly looks serious at Keith. "Nerv science is working on it. There are tens of thousands of pages of prelimenary speculation though if your interested."
 01[22:41] <@Rags> The doctors begin their examination. Its fairly routine stuff, heart rate, pupil reaction, some blood work and off course the bandaging of some of psychosomatic wounds. You are then brought to a UV flash decontamination chamber and instructed to go inside.
[22:41] <Keith_Sowards> ::"Oh well, I am sure you'll figure it out then," Keith steps out the door and turns back to say "Thanks for the coffee" before leaving to find the pilots
 01[22:42] <@Rags> Luckily for Keith someone is nearby to lead him quickly and without incident to the pilots.
 06[22:43] * Drake_Finnagin continues to step forward, mind otherwise precoccupied. Thoughts drift to his teammates. Viktor was a pup, but there was potential there, it just needed to be trained. Akiko though....she gave him a bad feeling, needling past the pit in his stomach. Confrontation awaited in the future.
[22:46] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "so do we walk around in those, what where they called? 'plug suits' all day every day or something?
 06[22:47] * Akiko_Kimura stepped forward. She was becoming more and more anxious, and in fact started to move around constantly after she had changed behind the curtain. The cold air made her fidget about even more.
 01[22:48] <@Rags> "No need, we have several at the read next to your Eva. THough I gues if you real want to..." Mark says loud enough for the others to hear him.
 06[22:50] * Drake_Finnagin adjusts the collar of his dark coveralls as he emerges from behind the curtain, still looking rather somber. He makes sure his ID is properly situated in its plastic sleeve on his chest.
 06[22:50] * Viktor_von_Arnauld after stepping into the curtains after a minute of fumbling "uhh. HOW DO I TAKE THESE SPANDEX OFF!"
 01[22:54] <@Rags> "Need some help Viktor?" One of the male staff and some of hte female staff started to look enthuisiastic at that. "ANyway when you step in just press the button on the inside but make sure your eyes are closed. THe UV will clean you up. There should be some basic Nerv clothing in the drawer beneath the decon unit. THough you could wear your plug suit if you want."
 06[22:55] * Akiko_Kimura stepped into the decontamination chamber and pressed the button just as they said. She had her eyes closed.

 01[22:56] <@Rags> There is a bright flash and then the door open again with a loud ping.
 06[22:56] * Drake_Finnagin calmly awaits his fellows, holding his wrist behind his back as he stands at attention, still adrift within his thoughts.
[22:58] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "hey there, Drake was it? yeah, pretty... intense back there huh?
 06[22:59] * Akiko_Kimura went to the drawer and changed after the process was done. She stepped out once again.
 06[22:59] * Drake_Finnagin quickly glances at Viktor as he is addressed. "...It was...you....did good considering you'd never piloted your Unit before..."
[23:01] <Akiko_Kimura> "Where are my quarters?" She said bluntly.
 01[23:02] <@Rags> Nelson walks over to Keith and gives a friendly/hard slap on the back. "How do you like Rapture so far." There is a mischieveous twinkle in his eyes. "Great acting talent dont you say?" At the last comment Mark struggles to contain his laughing. He wins the epic battle and adresses keith and the pilots. "Well your all clean and ready to go. Why dont you show them their new home Nelson?" "Sure doc." "Dont call me doc Nelson." "Sure thing doc. This way people." Nelson motions for you to follow him.
 06[23:02] * Viktor_von_Arnauld desracted from drake "Beats me lady"
 06[23:03] * Drake_Finnagin doesn't hesitate to follow after Nelson, matching pace so that he ends up alonside Captain Sowards. "Sir."
[23:04] <Keith_Sowards> As he follows Nelson he says to the pilots "Feeling better?"
[23:04] <Drake_Finnagin> "Functional, sir."
[23:05] <Keith_Sowards> "I see, How about you two back there"
[23:06] <Akiko_Kimura> "...Just get me to my room."
[23:06] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "im freaked the hell out, but by and all doing alright"
 01[23:08] <@Rags> Nelson leads you through the dock at a comfertable pace towards a blastdoor at the far end. He's whistling.
[23:10] <Drake_Finnagin> ".........Did you know, sir?"
[23:10] <Keith_Sowards> "Thats good to hear Vic'," He then turns to Drake, "Not at all, but life is full of surprises, such as being alive"
[23:11] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "hey akiko, do your arms feel like they are sunburned too?"
 06[23:11] * Keith_Sowards is almost walking backwards as he talks to them
[23:12] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "whats up with that anyways? how can we be hurt by a computer?"
 01[23:12] <@Rags> Nelson looks at Drake. "About the simulation? Yes I helped with the tactical parameters, though it was by and large Andrew's brain child. Well his and the new shrink's; Catherine Reynolds."
[23:13] <Akiko_Kimura> "...No."
[23:15] <Keith_Sowards> "Right i should probably explain those burns, those are mild versions of the psychomatic burns that Nelson just loves to remind people exist. I am not sure on all the science but they occur when the Eva sends pain signals back to you. They are not true burns though and you should be fine"
 06[23:16] * Drake_Finnagin breathes in sharply in response to Akiko's voice, a momentary loss of control. He focuses straight ahead, quickening his pace slightly.
[23:23] <Keith_Sowards> "We are going to work on getting you to multisylabil words yet"
 06[23:24] * Drake_Finnagin has to cover his sudden snicker with an imaginary coughing fit. He was not expecting that.
[23:26] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "so mister, starter? how did you find your way?"
 01[23:28] <@Rags> Nelson reaches the blastdoor and cycles it open. he walks trhough, heads an immediate left to the blast door there and cycles that one open. THe first thing you notice is the mini sub tucked to the side. Some large ye olde style diving gears are next to it though they look more like power armor than anything else. Then you notice the aquarium with a bioluminiscent slug in the middle of the large room, a small white card with writing on top of it. Then there is the table with the Fpads layingn on it, the couches, chairs, TV(big plasma screen of course.) kitchen etc. "Welcome to your new home. Close to the dock for convenience sake if you ever need to scramble in a hurry." He then walks to the fridge in your new home and starts rummaging in it. There are hallways to the side leading to your rooms, inside youll findn your stuff on the bed.
[23:31] <Keith_Sowards> "'Sowards', And I seem to be following Nelson like the rest," He turns to see the room, "Heh, you even get a pet"
 06[23:31] * Drake_Finnagin relaxes slightly, scanning his surroundings calmly. He peeks around the top of the fridge door to see the contents.

Drake see's a variety of drinks(juices, lemonades, soft drinks) fresh fruit and vegetables, several types of meat that could be eaten as is or else prepared in some way, a variety of cheese's, butter, pickles, eggs, bacon, lettuce, yoghurts etc. (its pretty well stocked, its also fairly certain that bread can be found nearby)
[23:42] <Akiko_Kimura> If Akiko is impressed it is difficult to ascertain as she immediately heads for her room.
 06[23:42] * Viktor_von_Arnauld direagards the slugs entirely for assembuling a bacon sandwitch, then pauses "this stuff is free right?"
 6[23:43] * Keith_Sowards watches as Akiko walks off and sighs slightly "Maybe she will be more communicative after we start actual training"
 06[23:44] * Drake_Finnagin looks to Captain Sowards. "With all due respect sir....she had better. This is my home, and I'll defend it no matter the cost. We don't have time for dead weight."
 01[23:44] <@Rags> Nelson comes out of the fridge as well and joins Viktor in making a sandwitch. "Yep. The ID cards laying with your Fpads also count as a payment card by the way."

[23:46] <Keith_Sowards> "Drake, assessing Pilot performance is our job"
 01[23:47] <@Rags> "Pensile pushers know for sure. I think you have a 100 dollars worth of expsenses you can charge a week. THough like always there is potential for growth."

 06[23:49] * Viktor_von_Arnauld blinks with a tray full of food and drinks "huh, never had one of them before."
 01[23:49] <@Rags> "Waff he saiffs" Nelson says with his mouth full of cucumber.
[23:49] <Akiko_Kimura> In her room, she unpacks her kendo gear and immediately takes up her wooden sword, taking stance with it. She begins going through her katas, her form excellent and her discipline even better. She began to work up a sweat.
 06[23:50] * Drake_Finnagin falls silent, before nodding. "Sir." He excuses himself and travels down the hallway to his own room. He pauses in the hallway as he hears Akiko practicing.
[23:51] <Keith_Sowards> "I didn't say you had to leave, though I guess you are all probably tired"
[23:51] <Akiko_Kimura> Drake can hear the swoosh swoosh of the sword as Akiko swings it around with strength and the occasional cry at certain points of her kata.

[23:53] <Keith_Sowards> "Me? I am the operations director. My job is to handle all events involveing the use of Evas

 06[23:55] * Drake_Finnagin flattens himself against the wall, sidling up to the edge of the doorframe, taking quiet shallow breaths as he continues to listen in. He closes his eyes, pair each noise with an equivalent motion, listening not only to the sword against the air, but also the minuscule creaking of the floor as she shifts her weight.
 01[23:56] <@Rags> "Im second in command, though I double as section two head, which in Rapture means im also the police chief. By the way if any of you are up for it Andrew gave me the go ahead to take you all to Fort Frolic, all expenses paid, or else Arcadia, know a great french restaurant there." He then resumes devouring his food like its existence was a threat to Rapture's security.
[23:57] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "sure, after a good nap, i just survived virtual nuke and a real N2 bomb."
[23:58] <Keith_Sowards> "That is understandable. We'll leave in 2 hours. Tell the others if you would Victor, I am sure they would appreciate a good meal"

[00:02] <Akiko_Kimura> Akiko continues to practice. Her breathing gets louder, more strength goes into her swings and her movements become more and more rapid by the moment as she builds up her tempo.

[00:05] <Keith_Sowards> "So Nelson you good with picking us up in 2 hours?"
 6[00:05] * Drake_Finnagin 's heart begins to pick up the pace slightly, a sharp inhalation breaking through his regulated breathing. He remains unaware of Viktor.
 01[00:08] <@Rags> Nelson finishes his food. "Sure, ill be taking a shower. That im an old mariner dosnt mean I have to smell like one ha!"
 01[00:08] <@Rags> He then salutes Keith sharply and walks off, wiping his hands on his pants.
 06[00:09] * Viktor_von_Arnauld sneaks closer to Drake, Then says "What IS she doing in there?"
 06[00:10] * Drake_Finnagin 's eyes snap open as he jolts straight upright, banging his head against the wall as he exclaims, "HNNNNGH!"
 06[00:10] * Keith_Sowards chuckles then says "Enjoy your shower," he then goes to find a chair to relax in, get some pressure off that knee of his
 06[00:11] * Keith_Sowards does not find said seat due to sudden noise in the hall
 06[00:11] * Viktor_von_Arnauld jumps back with an expression of glee
[00:11] <Akiko_Kimura> The swinging and the yelling stops. A second later, she immediately powerwalks for the door, wooden sword in hand.
 06[00:12] * Drake_Finnagin is now seated against the wall, one hand rubbing the back of his head as he wordlessly grumbles.
 06[00:12] * Keith_Sowards stands in the opening of the hallway looking down it "Did someone hurt themself"
[00:13] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "oh, hey akacko," turning to sowards "nah not yet."
[00:15] <Akiko_Kimura> She stands at the doorway, one hand gripping the sword. Her eyebrows narrowed and she gives you two a nice, long, piercing gaze. "..What were you two doing?"
 06[00:15] * Drake_Finnagin scrambles to his feet, about to verbally assail Viktor, when he notices Akiko. "Oh....um....hello."
[00:16] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "sowards said to tell you that we have 2 hours till we go"
[00:18] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "yeah, we are going to some place called to Fort Frolic, or Arcadia,or something"
 06[00:19] * Keith_Sowards seems to think things calmed down and slowly heads back to his seat
[00:19] <Akiko_Kimura> Her gaze drops, "I see." And turns back around, about to shut the door.
 06[00:21] * Viktor_von_Arnauld looks back at Drake with a wink.
 06[00:21] * Drake_Finnagin waits until Akiko is out of sight before punching Viktor in the arm.
 06[00:23] * Viktor_von_Arnauld rubs his arm chuckling "so where is my room Drake?" and under his voice "and are you gonna peek at me too?"
 06[00:23] * Akiko_Kimura closes the door firmly and sits on her bed lotus style, wooden sword on her lap.
 06[00:24] * Drake_Finnagin fumes off ignoring Viktor's question, entering his own room and sealing the door behind him. He immediately drops to the floor and begins doing push-ups.
 06[00:25] * Viktor_von_Arnauld finds his way to his room and begins to set his alarm and get to a good nap.
 1[00:28] <@Rags> "Ding Dong" Nelson says as he enters your home in a clean set of clothes and smelling of cologne. I talked to Pierre, he runs a small french place in Arcadia, he has seats reserved for us. So if your all at the ready.

 06[00:29] * Drake_Finnagin emerges into the main area, dark hair dripping wet. Looks like he got around to a shower.
 06[00:30] * Keith_Sowards puts down whatver magazine he scrounged up to read and stands up "Excellent work Nelson"
[00:31] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "sure sounds good" Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes yawns and walks to the main area
[00:31] <Keith_Sowards> "Well that is two of them.."
 01[00:32] <@Rags> "If I werent such a fucking gentlemen I might be included to make a rude sexist comment." Nelson smirks.
 06[00:33] * Keith_Sowards actually smirks at that comment for a couple seconds, "I'll see if she is awake" he heads down the hall and knocks on her door
 06[00:35] * Drake_Finnagin shifts uncomfortably, thinking about the....incident earlier, but also nervous at the prospect of a fancy dinner. Fine dining is really not his thing.
[00:36] <Viktor_von_Arnauld> "so what is this place exactly?"
 06[00:38] * Akiko_Kimura opens the door right after Keith knocked on it. She had a nice shower and freshened herself up just moments ago it seems. Minimum makeup was done.
 01[00:38] <@Rags> "Arcadia is Rapture's natural retreat, park and farm in one. Pierre just runs the best restaurant there. While french in nature he isnt so snobbish to keep his menu exclusivly in french and he serves other food as well. The wine is as excellent as you can imagine. Especially good is the veal with wine sauce and a Chateu du Fjord 2005."
[00:39] <Keith_Sowards> "Ah there you are," he turns to Nelson "I think we are good to go"
[00:40] <Akiko_Kimura> "Lead the way."
