- EXT. CITY - DAY
- The cruiser drives through the city streets. The city around
- them moves around, the car stops in traffic, and people go on
- about their lives.
- The car stops at an intersection.
- INT. POLICE CRUISER - DAY
- The car pulls forward. Dawn sits in the back. She looks out
- the side of the cruiser.
- Her face changes-
- DAWN
- DETECTIVE PARKS-
- The car gets rammed on the driver's side. Parks's airbag
- deploys as his head slams into the steering wheel. The
- windshield is busted.
- The cruiser goes into a spin.
- It stops in the middle of the intersection.
- Parks's head is in the airbag. Blood drips down from his
- head.
- IND MILITIA SOLDIER 1
- Be advised, securing the package.
- An arm reaches over and the car unlocks.
- Parks tries to take off his seatbelt.
- IND MILITIA SOLDIER 2
- HE'S MOVING!
- IND MILITIA SOLDIER 1
- Cease fi-
- Parks opens his eyes, looks forward, and watches the muzzle
- flash of a shotgun.
- He falls back in the seat and slumps over.
- A scream comes from the back.
- DAWN
- PARKS!
- Dawn gets dragged out and a cloth sack gets put over her
- head.
- IND MILITIA SOLDIER 1
- Jesus fuck I just shot a cop...
- Behind the cruiser, Dawn gets thrown into the back of a
- minivan.
- The door closes and the minivan drives off.
- EXT. CITY - DAY
- Parks opens the door and falls out of the cruiser. He groans
- in pain as he takes his gun out. A cut sits on his head.
- The minivan is long gone, what remains is Parks's smashed
- cruiser which sits in ruin next to the pickup truck. Glass
- and metal from both cars line the street.
- Parks tries to stand up and looks around that cityscape
- around him.
- He coughs up blood once again and falls over.
