- 2. Add the corn meal to the water and stir for a couple of minutes.
- 3. Add the sugar to the mash and mix that in for another few minutes. Keep stirring until it seems dissolved for the most part.

- Distilling.
- 1. Open up your container of fermented mash, and pour it into the pot of the still. Leave most of the bottom parts of the mash out of the still, as it containers to much methanol.
- 2. Seal the still
- 3. Turn on the cold water flow to the still's cooling tubes.
- 4. Apply heat to the pot of the still heating up the mash. Make sure to keep the temperature between alcohol and water’s boiling point (173 degrees Fahrenheit and 212 degrees Fahrenheit). A good temperature to keep it at is 185-195 degrees.
- 5. As the moonshine distills, discard 1 ounce of moonshine for every gallon of mash, due to the methanol contents.
- 6. After you discarded the first to bits of shine, maintain the heatsource on 185-195 degrees.
- 8. After all the liquid has distilled out into your collection container, pour it into whatever container after.
