Hat's off again to this 'wonderful' world
And all of the laughter which erupts through the city
I pretend to not see it's fakeness
I'm going to lose it

A scent so splendid it's dizzying
Pierces the depths of my nose
And my primal instincts awaken
Whose turn is it today?

Just what can be done
in a world like this?
What is it that I can do for it?

How ever many times needed

Despite all the flaws of this world

Today again this 'wonderful' world is at peace
And all of the gossip which swirls through the city
I pretend to hear nothing and look away
isn't it insane?

This parade everyone dresses up for
Leaves a taste which won't leave my lips
The sound of their footsteps resonate
As they march to the underside of the world

Live a proper and honest life
Live life without causing sorrow
Live life in your lane, without going astray
Is that how to live life without making mistakes?
Is it right to live life as my true self?
Is it right to live life deceiving others?
Just what should I be?
Just what am I?

Yet again
I continue to pray
In this answerless world
