[04:57] It seemed that the mongrel did not submit.

Beneath the mask billowed smoke- The smoke sparked golden, crackling around him violently before bursting into a blazing aura of golden flames that danced across the masked being's form, shrouding him in a glorious heat. A wave of killing intent washed over the area, before becoming concentrated on Salthiel.

"Do not worry... I only require an arm for my beloved. If you're good enough, I may just let you live,"

The katana was removed from its sheathe and became shrouded in flame as well. Heat poured from it, evaporating the surface of some of the swamp water and causing a fine mist to roll over the area as the precipitation in the air hissed against the intensity of his heat.

"...Or if you amuse me enough. If not-- I'll just have to kill you,"

His intent was clear.

Valentine's katana came down towards the other male's arm swiftly, and if avoided, he'd initiate combat with him, glancing towards Junior in case his brother wished to join him in this.

[04:57] With that the hooded individual would calmly walk over towards the cliff's edge before crossing his arms. Emerald Iridescent eyes peered from the hood at the things unfolding in front of his.

A faint wispy trail of grey smoke would rise from the ember that shone within the poorly lit midnight air from the cigarette that lay in the corner of his mouth.

[05:00] It was kind of a pity that he didn't just give in. But this is what it meant to be out and about hunting, didn't it? Needless to say, the sparks spike up around him, hell storm coming around his form to give him a new sense of life - a new sense of power.

"Right, let us do this quickly."

It wasn't as enjoyable for him - all of this. As much as he liked combat and beating people, he didn't think that somebody as such would not give in. To say that he was out numbed and outpowered was an understatement - what was he to even do?

Did excitement tingle in his bones because of the unexpected? Did the aspect of stomping the fight excite little ole' Neo?

Not at all.

Lightning sparks all around him, it arcs outwards and aims to slam into the body of the boy they had stopped. He wouldn't risk his brother losing alone.

[05:04] Like a whisper the Invidia's katana left its sheathe.

In riposte, Salthiel's pupils glowed bright with blue as water in the form of dragon coalesced around his form.

The sheer killing intent itself was enough to humble the young magi of his arrogance and pride.

"I'm scared," he thought to himself as tears of blood fell off his cheeks. Yet his features remained tranquil before vanishing into a thin mist; aiming to avoid the duo's attacks.

Determination and wrath, however, helped himself get composed.

Though he felt extreme dread and fear of dying. He convinced himself it would be better to die fighting, rather than die bowing. Does he have a choice anyway? No, he did not, and perhaps that played a part.

[05:19] Frank Armiger says, "Greetings."
[05:21] an easy fight.

It isn't the other's fault easy, for it was just what it was - life. Complex, yes? His way of thinking was just that. A complex thing that led from one hall down three others just to get to the end of the first hall he went down. With every spark of his lightening that came crashing down his body would adjust, it would move and he would summon more magic for the fight.

It'd come in mass, Neo Jr. was easily the more agile one of the two. He merely moved about, throwing lightning from a far, letting it cascade down from the sky and strike at the white-haired male that they were pitted against.

This all just seemed so...

Not boring, but not enjoyable either. He couldn't explain it. While in the past he might have gotten a thrill from it, in the now he does not. There is no thrill from being able to walk all over somebody with ease.

Eventually his body drifts away, letting his brother finish off anything that was needed. his attention splits and goes elsewhere.

[05:22] The battle was a massacre.

The combined efforts of Junior and Valentine were overwhelming. Hellstorm mixed with holy flames in a disastrous and explosive combination of magics that weren't meant to work together negatively impacting a victim. Holy and occult clashed together, resulting in dangerously large and wild explosions that tore away at the very ground beneath them.

Columns of ice were melted away, and lightning ripped through the teenager's body.

Eventually, Valentine had enough of this and took the charge, growing more and more aggressive. Holy flames ripped through the area. His brother was safe from his violent outbursts, because holy fire could be selective with who it hurt. The very terrain beneath their feet changed to flames, and the masked being danced across them, littering the teen's form with constant fire.

Eventually, he stopped, and concentrated it all into one burst-

It exploded, sending a blinding light throughout the swamps with enough heat to force the waters to boil, and the trees within thirty feet of them to combust and turn to ash in the winds.

As for the unfortunate victim, he'd find it extremely painful to even open his eyes. Even when closed, the holy magics were working their way throughout his nerves, making it so that even just -having- a sense of pain was overwhelming.

However, seeing as he'd released a blinding attack, the ice mage would have a chance to escape.

[05:25] Neo Invidia Jr. says, "Jeez! Didn't think that'd be so boring."
[05:31] A massacre it was, indeed.

Despite his hardest, the youth simply could not go against two adults at once.

His efforts were for naught as the brothers combined strength simply overpowered him.

Alas, radiance overcame him as holy magic poisoned his nerves. Oh, how so ironic for a holy magi to act with so much atrocity.

Yet the youth was powerless despite his attempts of soothing the pain. Visionary casting already took a toll on him, only added by the fact that Invidia's magic escalated in pain.

In agony and rage he screamed, howling amidst the night though as his voice echoed throughout, he'd the dissipate into a thin mist.

[05:36] Usually, the forest is the orchestra of one's mind, playing an enchanting symphony after another. Her leaves dance to an unheard beat, whispering their songs, hushed to the wind. With cascading light whistling past the dense canopy, a brilliant white shaft illuminating the grassy path, it's quite... peaceful, to say the least.

That, however, is just an outward appearance-- and thing can certainly be just as deadly, as they are pretty... though running into three, unfamiliar figures amidst a battle was not something he expected whatsoever-- he recognized the one defeated, and took a deep, heavy sigh of relief upon spotting the younger ice magus escape all the while--- though, he, himself was there, spotted already.

Zeriel wouldn't particularly say anything, but merely shift his gaze between the Oscuri, and the two Invidia all the while, quiet-- or perhaps simply waiting for their own reaction. As long as Salthiel was safe, he didn't need to take any initiative, of course.

What a day.

[05:38] Tapping the side of his hood for a moment, he just stared at Zeriel quite silently. Only the audible chirp of crickets, and the sound of wind blowing through foliage on occasion would break said silence after the battle ended.

That is until he spoke.

"Well. Good night for a walk. In any case uhhh…. I have to run. Farewell!"

[05:44] A figure clad in black makes their way onto the scene. A hand instinctively goes to their sword handle as they count not one, but four people, one of which she vaguely recognized. Their gaze was mostly hidden by the metallic skull mask they were wearing, but it was clear they were watching, observing.

Waiting.

They said nothing.

[05:49] Another figure dressed in white and gold from head to toe arrives alongside the other masked individual. Their eyes scan over those gathered, taking note of the numbers and trying to place a name to the faces that they had seen before. Much like the yang to their yin color scheme, a hand is placed on the hilt of the large blade strapped to the back of the person's cloak.

Beneath the mask, a tongue runs along their top row of teeth-- but nothing is said for now.

[05:51] Shrugging, he just begins casually walking off towards the east, hands leisurely in his cloak's pockets.

[05:52] He recognized the two-- not personally, really, but he did recognize Angelo's armor-- even if the form was... feminine. If anything, the hooded ones were allies, to say the least. Silent, for most parts, he'd glance back and forth between the others present for just a moment longer, and then those lips finally part.

"No idea who they are-- just arrived here, and saw the final moments of a battle-- they assaulted, and beat up one of the Huagzhou citizens pretty badly."

He'd blink once, close his eyes, and blink yet once again as one of the figures waddles off, and... nobody really tries to stop him.

Ah...

"The citizen is safe, now. He escaped."

[05:53] By the time they arrived, the masked being would already be in hot pursuit of their victim. Making a blinding light wasn't the smartest of ideas, but hey- He did what he had to do.

All he cared for was whether or not his sibling was alongside him as they headed deeper into the trees...

[05:53] With the fight over and his brother failing to seal the deal there's a ragged breath that leaves his lips.

The sigh exists his mouth as his body flickers, lightning striking some distance away in the forest. The scene as it is left is merely the remainders of some fighting between holy and occultic users, as well as some water and wind lingering around. It was nothing special in the end and Neo Jr. doesn’t take his time looking for his brother and the escaped person they were meaning to capture

Given he did stop paying attention at one point this was probably on himself, but still, his body keeps searching and looking for the lost man andddd... his attention falters again.

"You lost him," he states to his brother, body turning towards the north to float away for the time being, "I'll meet you back at home, do have fun with looking for the person that got away."

He meanders away, probably leading the way for Valentine if he decides to follow or even Frank, his job was done here.
