  1. Kah Zam slowly reached for his mask, which lied on the side of his cloak. He placed it over his face, and he let out a sigh. Watching as the carcasses of the damned rose from their graves, he felt a little bit more than sick. Wow, this guy really was evil.
  2.
  3. A spark of flame ignited around him, and it ended up combining with crackles of lightning, forming deep purple plasma which illuminated the sky and melted the ground. Beyond that, though, was the feeling of overwhelming holy power. Something spurred in this boy's mind to channel the most blessed of magics. Be that a desire to protect, or to do good... who knew?
  4.
  5. "I'm going to teach you a lesson you won't forget. I don't know exactly what crimes you've committed, but if they say you are evil then I am inclined to believe them."
  6.
  7. He knew very little overall about most of the villainous people that used to live in Aurum. This kid didn't know Sors Ultovex was a bad man, and even considered him a friend. As such, he was highly susceptible to change in opinion when it came to people from the ruined city. Aldrah being one face he didn't really know, when Arlei said he was a villain, he immediately assumed it was the truth.
  8.
  9. "Your army of tortured slaves won't protect you from justice..."
  10.
  11. Since this young hero believed himself to be a cut above the rest that desired to do good, his speech was uttered in a confident tone.
  12. (Kah Zam)
  13.
  14. Well, apparently the calm of the night had been interrupted by something that had not occurred for some time.. A duel of honor. But this time, it was a boy who apparently was a lost 'sheep', with a closed mind.
  15.
  16. Rising from the ground, Aldrah began to float. Undeads began to rise, seeking to assist their master. Aldrah's conversation with the rest of the group brought only one more annoyance to his life.. As Always.
  17.
  18. Silver eyes focused on the sky, thinking about what the boy said, "Before we start this.. Let me explain something to you, boy. In this world there are no villains, no heroes. What is there, are people with goals and different points of view. Just like me and you.
  19.
  20. To you I may look like a villain, but for me you look like just an lost 'sheep'.” He shrugged.
  21.
  22. Picking up his cane, the man began to be enveloped in an aura as cold as the place that they are. Kah could feel as if hands were grasping him from the inside, as if touching his soul.. As the cold rushed through his body.
  23.
  24. Undeads began marching towards Kah, Archers moving away and taking better positions, "Maybe I can change you a little?" He smiled.
  25. (Aldrah Leverd)
  26.
  27. Kah Zam was correct to be as confident as he was. Though he was facing a master necromancer with years of experience with his craft, he had something that most others his age did not. Conviction, and something to live for. A goal he was striving towards.
  28.
  29. To him, no matter what this man said, he was the villain, and Kah was the hero. His blows were restrained, and in the beginning this got the better of him. This opponent's swarms of undead had caused him to trip up, and the biting cold nipped at him enough to slow him down. To onlookers, it may have seemed like Aldrah was going to secure an easy victory, even.
  30.
  31. However, the tides quickly turned. For one reason or another, his instincts were heightened. That feeling of radiant, protective holy energy only grew. To people who had seen him fight before, he was acting entirely differently.
  32.
  33. A hand of his rose into the air, and with a snap of his fingers, rain of holy lightning vaporized every single undead that Aldrah commanded, nearly instantly.
  34.
  35. "Sheep are helpless, villain. I am not. In my eyes, you are wicked, and if what Arlei says is true, you deserve far worse than what I intend to give you."
  36.
  37. For a second, his plasmatic flames flickered, replaced by a shimmering holy light. It crackled with electricity all the same, and power welled up in his fist... but this time it was different. Less violent heat and more of a radiant one.
  38.
  39. Something clicked in his mind, and wordlessly, with no theatrics, he jetted forward instantaneously. Some driving force empowered him far more than his typical aura ever could, and his signature blow was sent forward thunderously into the chest of Aldrah Leverd.
  40.
  41. Directly in the sternum, just as he had promised.
  42.
  43. The impact was enough to send Aldrah flying back far enough that he'd be able to escape whatever impending wrath Kah had in mind, and it did noteven injure him beyond the nastiest bruise of his life. As Kah Zam was trying to understand what had just happened in his head, Aldrah would be able to make an easy escape.
  44.
  45. Staring at his palm, he sighed.
  46.
  47. "...Didn't hit hard enough..."
  48. (Kah Zam)
  49.
  50. Once again, Aldrah was on a battlefield, and he was thinking the victory would be easy, that he would just send this boy away to stop bothering him.. But apparently not. Time is the natural enemy of all, where it struck Aldrah, really hard, weakening him, making him different person from the past.
  51.
  52. Those who saw man would, only see a shadow of a being from the past, a figure who eventually survived during the time, but was weakened, changed from his original..
  53.
  54. While blows were exchanged during the fight, Aldrah would mumble at one time or another, telling himself a few things. Such that came to his mind during the fight.
  55.
  56. He remembered the moment he had talked to the volcano's Elder Dryad.. About what that being said, that his people don't have a place there, on Agartha. Now for what he saw, maybe it was true. Countless times his people, Valmasia, had struggled to live here, but always losing, dying.. Maybe that wasn't their place, but maybe somewhere else?
  57.
  58. Maybe it was time for Aldrah to leave.. Go back to Valmasia, while he still alive.. leaving this place for the younger ones. For his part he had already done.
  59.
  60. Even with the boy's lightning strikes, it seemed that only more undeads came off the ground, rising as the necromancer wanted. Always going towards the boy, trying to prevent his attacks.
  61.
  62. But in a moment of distraction from the old man, it was enough for Kah to be able to attack him with a blow that had thrown him away. Luckily it hadn't hurt him much, thanks to his armor.. But he had lost the fight. Maybe a bit expected, but Aldrah just saw it now..
  63.
  64. With that, he took the turn to retreat, back to the volcano. He had other things to deal it.
  65. (Aldrah Leverd)
