A night on the town with Yuri

>A night on the town with Yuri!
>Walking past shops hand-in-hand, cars zooming past the both of you.
>You look at Yuri, dressed in a black skirt with a white sweater, her wedding ring on her left ring finger.
>She looks in the window of every shop you pass by, but never really shows any interest in any of them, until she passes by a thrift store.
>She asks you if you'd like to check it out, knowing how she is, she won't enter unless you come with her.
>You nod your head, and walk inside with her, worn out books clutter the lower shelves, old chinaware lazily stacked on top of each other inside china cabinets.
>You raise your head to look at the higher shelves, only to notice they're all empty, while you attempt to figure out the reason behind that, you hear a high-pitched voice coming from behind you.
>"Hey, welcome to my shop, is there anything I can help you with?" You turn around, but you don't see anyone, until you look down.
>It's a man, but something is wrong with him, his gnomish physique and voice fill you with dread, and it takes all of your willpower to not run out of the store.
>"Uh... no thank you..." you reply.
>He heads back behind the counter, climbing up onto a chair that's way too high for him.
>You return your focus to Yuri, now sitting on the floor, pulling out several books, most of them being horror/science-fiction.
>"W-would you mind buying these for me, Anon? I hope it isn't too much to ask..." she says, with a smile on her face.
>You reach out to her, helping her up off the floor, as well as picking up the books she took out.
>You head up to the counter, and pay for them, all while the man behind the counter tries to make small-talk.
>"You know, back in the day, I was a well-known speedrunner, do you know what a speedrunner is?" he says, his face filled with excitement.
>You reply no, which was a lie, but you'd do anything to get out of here alive.
>He hands you a receipt, after writing down his Twitter username on it.
>You walk out of the store with Yuri near you, your handholding cut short by the amount of books you're carrying.
>You call a taxi, which arrives rather quickly, you put the books on the left side and let Yuri get in before entering the taxi yourself.
>You tell the taxi-driver where to go, paying him beforehand.
>You roll down the right window, looking out and feeling the hot summer air blowing against your face as Yuri holds onto you, closing her eyes and resting her head on your shoulder.
>Turning around to face her, you wrap your arm around her, bringing her even closer before kissing her on the forehead.
>"I love you, Yuri."
>"I love you too, Anon."
