personality: MJ is the laziest active person you’ll ever see in your life. In the beginning of the day she’ll not want to get up at all. She’ll stay in her bed no matter how many times you tell her to wake up or jump on her. She falls asleep at the randomest times and you can’t wake her up once she’s asleep. Wait we’re going to a restaurant, it’s time for breakfast, lunch, dinner!? MJ’s awake everyone! She’ll wake up for any food, her eyes will shoot open and she’ll rush to the table. As you can tell, MJ really really really really loves food. Anytime someone says the word food or the name of a food she really likes she’ll be by their side in an instant asking where the food is. She’s usually eating a lot of food at home which makes her even more drowsy and lazy. MJ is very chill and laid back and doesn’t take a lot of things seriously. She has a cool tone of voice that makes her sound even more chill, and she takes things slow. But, even though she is really chill on the outside, sometimes she could sensitive to certain topics. She hates when people talk about family since she hasn’t seen her family since she was 15, siblings since she has none, and height because she’s pretty short. MJ is very musical, she played piano all throughout high school, she can sing, rap, and dance very well. Lastly, MJ is very out of style. She doesn’t like flashy clothes, glitter, jewels, or too revealing clothing. Her usual wear is a pair of joggers, sneakers, and a sweatshirt when it's cold or a graphic tee when it’s warm. Since she’s always lying down for most of the day, she doesn’t have to wear fancy clothes or anything matching.

Background: Kim Myung-Ji was born in Toronto, Canada to a Canadian mother and a Korean father. Her life was defined by school, going there in the morning and then studying at home. She barely hung out with her best friends because she was constantly studying. Her father was strict about school, but didn’t mind that MJ was very musical and loved to play the piano and sing. After her last year of middle school, MJ’s mom and dad made her a deal. This deal was that if MJ’s family moved to South Korea where she’s always wanted to go, then she would have to choose a career in music no matter what. MJ was confused at first because she didn’t know why her parents would make a deal like that, but she agreed because she’s always wanted to go to Korea and she loves singing anyways. So, before high school started, MJ and her family moved to Seoul, South Korea. She attended the performing arts high school closest to her house and MJ was so excited for it. She also was able to take piano lessons on the weekends which made her even more happy. During that year of high school at age 15, her parents wanted to move back to Toronto for family matters. MJ was to be left in Seoul with her father’s mother to continue studying the arts. MJ was devastated that she was no longer able to see her parents smiling faces everyday. It put her into a state of depression for a few months and her only escaped was music. After the long hard 4 years of it, MJ finished high school with pretty average grades in the core subjects but phenomenal grades in her music classes. She was soon scouted for an entertainment company to audition as a solo singer. She never saw her parents again since then and she really wants to see them again.

They became friends and exchanged numbers.
