《• BACKGROUND || Ya-Ren was born on January 23, 1999, to two loving parents, a Hong Kong father, and a Taiwanese mother. Together they raised four children; making Ya-Ren the 2nd youngest child out of all of them. Her father was a famous CEO of a famous modeling agency, while her mother was a famous actress in Taiwan/Hong Kong. Basically, she grew up in a wealthy family, but she wasn't raised to be spoiled or petty like a spoiled child would. When Ya-Ren's father wanted to spread his company overseas to Germany, he took the chance to raise his children there as well. When Ya-Ren was 2 years old, she moved to Berlin, Germany and stayed there for 11 years and returned back for better schooling when she was 13 years old to Taiwan. At this point, over the years she's been a child model and was getting pretty good at it. When the time came, when she was about 14, she wanted to become a model in South Korea; but that changed when EXO performed in Hong Kong; she's then wanted to become a model and idol. She was scouted by SM and JYP, but she thought it was a prank so she didn't attend either of the auditions.

《• PERSONALITY || Ya-Ren is s super amiable, creative, humorous, outgoing, charming, and optimistic type of girl! She is the opposite of shy and loves to be around people! She's super charming and loves exploring and trying new things! She never likes to leave anyone alone! She is a really flexible person and is easy to work with!

➙ Ya-Ren prefers to be called her Korean or English name than her Chinese one.

➙ She loves spicy foods, she doesn't like food that is served cold though; not including sushi and mochi.
➙ Ya-Ren has princess-like posture, it kinda makes people think she was originally supposed to be a princess instead of a trainee.
➙ She looks amazing in round-framed glasses when she does wear them; she wears them decently to almost daily.
➙ She loves the cold, even though she gets cold easily. She has a strong immune system and rarely gets sick.
➙ She's a huge fan of EXO and Super Junior, especially EXO's Chanyeol and Super Junior's Leeteuk.
➙ Ya-Ren was originally a CUBE trainee but left due to mistreatment. She was under the label for 5 years before going to DSP MEDIA for 3 years, and YG for another 2. She left YG because she was considered "not fit" with their company concept. She is friends with BLACKPINK Jisoo.
