m not sure yet because when ren starts this au, it's a very high fashion brand that's probably expensive just because that's the world ren comes from
maybe they want to make it more marketable and available for other people? idk i'm still trying to figure it out
ren comes from a family of really smart entrepreneurs / warriors / doctors / people that are successful in their fields because they're adaptable / that doesn't change no matter what the au is

ruby has like a couch, a bed, maybe a coffee table? no tv or any sort of decorations aside from like a fake plant. the kitchen faucet leaks, the walls are cracked in places, there's probably some mold so ruby has the windows open most of the time, even when its cold cause the mold and her asthma aren't friends
