  3. ------------------------------------------------------------
  4. It's been over five years, and no anon has actually put together a helpful translation of any of these effects. So, because I was bored and kept having issues figuring out what each status effect was when posting translated skills for newer friend releases, I decided I'd make a cheat sheet for what effects do what, as well as explain what the chances and resistance values are since the game tends to just say low/medium/high rather than directly use numerical values.
  5.
  6. All information is taken from the status effect page on the wiki we've been using, and translated with Google. Obviously, all credit goes to them for listing everything. https://gamerch.com/kemonofriends3/796324
  7. ------------------------------------------------------------
  8. Chances
  9. >Low Chance: 10% to 20% chance of occurring
  10. >Medium Chance: 50% to 60% chance of occuring
  11. >High Chance: 70% to 80% chance of occurring
  12. ------------------------------------------------------------
  13. Resistances
  14. >Low Resistance: 10% to 30% chance of not being affected
  15. >Medium Resistance: 30% to 50% chance of not being affected
  16. >High Resistance: Immune to status effects
  17. ------------------------------------------------------------
  18. Status Effects
  19. >Dizzy State
  20. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean will be unable to perform any actions for the duration of this effect.
  21.
  22. >Poison State
  23. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean will take damage at the end of every turn for the duration of this effect.
  24.
  25. >Sleeping State
  26. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean will be unable to perform any actions for the duration of this effect. If the affected Friend or Cerulean is attacked during this state, the state is removed and the target receives additional damage.
  27.
  28. >Exhausted State
  29. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean is unable to activate their Kemono Miracle for the duration of this effect.
  30.
  31. >Tense State
  32. - Effect: When the affected Friend or Cerulean's stamina is low, the individual will receive less damage from opponents while not being able to use any skills, Kemono Miracles, or additional effects from their attacks. MP can still be generated with Action flags.
  33. - Note: Tense State is also referred to as Near-Miss State and Chilling State on numerous Friends, Photos, and other pages according to Google Translate. Its Japanese name is "ひやひや状態", and I am unsure how to translate that.
  34.
  35. >Throbbing State
  36. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean takes damage for each time they act during a turn for the duration of this effect.
  37. - For example, let's say it does 10 damage. If a Friend with this effect attacks twice during the turn, they take 20 damage at the end of the turn.
  38.
  39. >Charm State (formerly Euphoric State)
  40. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean cannot benefit from any stamina recovery effects for the duration of this effect.
  41.
  42. >Bounce State*
  43. - Effect: Attacking the affected Friend or Cerulean will reflect a portion of that damage back at the attacker.
  44. - Reflected damage will not knock out the attacker.
  45. - Note: Bounce State is also referred to as Rebound State, according to Google Translate. Its Japanese name is "はねかえし と はねかえしむし", and is also used by Friends and effects that negate this effect.
  46.
  47. >Protect State
  48. - Effect: A Friend with this effect will periodically jump in the way of an attack, intercepting it and protecting the original target.
  49.
  50. >Dazed State*
  51. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean will be unable to generate MP for the duration of this effect.
  52. - Note: Dazed State is also referred to as Absent-Minded State, according to Google Translate. Its Japanese name is "ぼんやりうっかり状態". For simplicity, "Dazed" will be the used term.
  53.
  54. >Happy State
  55. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean cannot have their damage dealt or accuracy reduced, and they will not be affected by effects that increase damage received for the duration of this effect.
  56. - The Depressed State below is the opposite of this effect.
  57.
  58. >Depressed State
  59. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean cannot have their damage dealt or accuracy increased, and they will not be affected by effects that reduce damage received for the duration of this effect.
  60. - The Happy State above is the opposite of this effect.
  61.
  62. >Charging State*
  63. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean will generate more MP than normal for the duration of this effect.
  64. - Note: Charging State is also referred to as Good at Accumulating State, according to Google Translate. Its Japanese name is "ためこみ上手状態". For simplicity, "Charging' will be the used term.
  65.
  66. >Tickle Master State
  67. - Effect: If a Friend has this effect, then the opposing team's Kemono Miracle might be interrupted through an interactive minigame where you tickle the opposing Friend.
  68. - Does not occur when fighting against Ceruleans. Ceruleans are not ticklish, nor do they tickle Friends.
  69.
  70. >Shock State (Formerly Tingling)
  71. - Effect: The affected Friend or Cerulean may not attack or use their Standby skill for the duration of this effect.
  72. - For example, let's say Serval has this effect and attacks three times. Each individual attack has a chance to not occur. If all three do not occur, your turn is effectively skipped.
  73.
  74. >Mismatched Rhythm State
  75. - Effect: The affected Friend will be unable to join in on a Kemono Chorus for the duration of this effect.
  76. - Kemono Chorus is when you use multiple attacks of the same flag type to deal increased damage.
  77.
  78. >Lost Flag State
  79. - Effect: The affected Friend will not be able to see what flags are available, as they will be replaced with grey ??? flags for the duration of this effect.
  80. - You can still perform Kemono Chorus with this, though it's pure luck if you get it right.
  81.
  82. >Exhausted and Stinging State
  83. - Effect: Combines the effects from both Exhausted and Throbbing States.
  84. - This effect is treated as its own status effect, and can stack with Throbbing State.
  85.
  86. >Sweaty
  87. - Effect: The affected Friend cannot activate their Standby skill for the duration of this effect.
  88.
  89. >Intimidating State
  90. - Effect: Friends with this effect are more likely to be targeted by enemy attacks.
  91.
  92. >Hiding State
  93. - Effect: Friends with this effect are less likely to be targeted by enemy attacks.
