- A man is sent to the flying city of Columbia to find a missing girl. However, upon arrival he discovers that the city, its people, and his objective are all not what they seem.
- The year is 1912, deep in debt, ex-Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt is sent to the mysterious flying city of Columbia to find and retrieve a young woman imprisoned in a tower since birth - Elizabeth and to "Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt". However, almost as soon as Booker arrives, he finds that Columbia and its people are not quite what they seem, and all too soon science, religion, morality, family and life all clash and spiral down into utter chaos, with Booker and Elizabeth as unlikely partners in the midst of all the action.
- It's 6:00am, I stayed up all night in order to get through the game, and it was probably a bad idea. This is what people praise as Game of the year, I will compare it to TLOU in a minute, but first things first.

The game-play is the best in the franchise. The ruins of Columbia look nice. The game kept my interest through most of the game. Oh and the pointless rapture scene was just so cute, even though it was completely out of the blue. But really, the ending is just awe full. Really, I felt depressed after it was over. Was you think about it real hard, you'll understand how poorly it was executed. The whole world jump and time travel was just the most " WTF is this " type of plot device. They may have had a cool idea going on, but it just doesn't work or pay off in the end. Don't get me wrong, most of the game is good, but it's not Game of the year good. Sure it will be nominated, and people on the hype train will do what they do best. At the end of the day, I just want to forget this game, and I probably will. It didn't have any emotion or weight to it, it's just a cool FPS. It just an over done, over complicated let down. As far as a solid and compelling story goes, The last of us destroys this game. Seriously that twist was just so out there.

It's an over rated game, but it is a good over rated game. It never reached Bioshock 1 levels of good though. I'll probably update this at a latter time, when I'm not tired.
- After just completing the game, I am in total shock. So stunned that I couldn't even skip the credits. Without spoiling anything, you will be completely amazed of how they decided to end it off.

Anyways it's a great game and a cool change from a city at the bottom of the ocean to a city in the sky. The scene where you are lifted to Columbia is just as breathtaking as seeing Rapture for the first time. As soon as this scene happens, you know you're playing a Bioshock game.

People have been also wondering how Elizabeth's AI is. Absolutely flawless, this is in no way a co-op game like Resident Evil 5. You don't have to revive her or give her any ammo or anything of that sort.

Their are some horror elements to this game similar to Rapture, but it's more focused on Action and sci-fi. There is one part that did scare the hell out of me though.

Kudos to Irrational for another masterpiece. If you thought the story telling in Bioshock 1 was incredibly done, just wait till you get a load of this!

I give it a solid 10/10.
- Vast majority of the game takes place in 1912, 48 years before the events of the original game. Due to quantum physics and time travel being involved in the story, there are also moments and elements from other years, between 1880 and 1980. They both exist within the game's universe, but since Rapture was built much later than Columbia, almost no-one in Columbia knows about Rapture. It is revealed via audio recordings that select few from Rapture looked into the future Rapture and took advantage of some things that were revealed to them in this way (mostly technology).

Players return to Rapture briefly within the game, but it is not important to the general storyline. No. Andrew Ryan makes no appearance in Bioshock Infinite. a5c7b9f00b
