- Sorry if part 15 felt a bit underdeveloped. My pc went through some issues so I had to use a backup device, of course, I was a dumbass as I only use my pc for saving shit. It felt rushed as I wanted to get it over with last thread so I'm making it up with this. Enjoy.
- -Al's POV-
- >It's been a day since the radio host has witnessed everything that happened involving the exterminators.
- >He still finds it preposterous that the Devil himself wanted to make a deal with someone like himself.
- >Although it's been a day without Charlie, Al felt irritated and looked out of the window.
- >He remembered yesterday when he hugged her close and held her hand. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he was definitely feeling the signs of love itself.
- >'That woman did this to me...I was supposed to kill her in the beginning but even then, she's a demon...Apparently they could die by Exterminators?'
- >Al pondered about those questions and of the deal Lucifer mentioned to him again. He didn't specify what it was about which made Al suspicious.
- >Al thought of how Charlie was understanding when he opened up to her at the studio. He hated how he acted so defensive against her during the conflict.
- -
- >The cannibal remembered how she was blossoming over time as a beautiful woman. Her face, her outfit, and her demeanor... it was all charming to him.
- >Even if she was really a demon in disguise, she was quite the angel. How ironic was that?
- >It made Al angry that they had to be separated for 3 days and all because of one attack. His nails dug into his palms from thinking more about this.
- >Based on how Charlie responded when she was asked of performing her duties as the Antichrist, she was clearly frustrated about that.
- >'With her being so frustrated like this, perhaps I can help her live a better life. She doesn't deserve pain or ridicule for her beliefs. Even if I don't agree with some of them, I'll be damned that I'll allow her to live in misery, away from me.'
- >As the serial killer became more unhinged, a familiar figure snuck up from behind Al.
- "I'm going to have to stop you right there."
- >Al turned around and had a forced smile while glaring at the man.
- "So this is the effects of her influence. Fascinating..."
- >Al became confused and questioned him.
- >"What effects? I'm perfectly normal as I am."
- -
- "Well, it's worse than I thought. There's a reason I told you to back out for the past 4 weeks now. But you just wouldn't quit and now you're pretty much stuck like this!"
- >Al and Lucifer were starting to lose patience for one another.
- >"Charlie would never perform such trickery to me and you know it. Are you angry that your daughter has chosen me as her partner and that's why you were tormenting me?"
- >Al lets out a smug smile while Lucifer snapped his fingers.
- >Al felt the seat disappear and he fell onto the floor.
- "Based on observing your little interactions with each other, Charlie clearly sees you as merely an acquaintance."
- "But enough of that nonsense, I'm here to tell you about my deal here."
- >Lucifer summoned an apple and gave it to Al.
- "Now, I just needed to tell you of what I can promise you, of course, like everything else in life, nothing comes free. Now, how would you like to gain power, and not just any power, I'm talking about being able to take out your darkest urges onto others, with nobody able to stop you..."
- -
- >While Al was still skeptical, he became a bit interested by the deal.
- "Anyhow, with this power and influence, you can use it however fit and I'll let you roam free in Hell. There's all sorts of degenerate sinners to choose from down there that would surely suit your needs as a cannibal. Aside from that, I can grant you protection and I'll teach you what you need to know with your future abilities. Before you back out, know that we both know that you aren't going to Heaven anytime soon so don't use that as an excuse to back away."
- >Al became more intrigued with those promises.
- >'So I can basically be a noble who's free to do however I like...Interesting.'
- "Now, here comes the catch... You see, as powerful as you want to be, there is only one condition that I want you to follow if you agree. Not many mortals see me personally, much less get promised this sort of power."
- >Al listened intently and grinned with satisfaction.
- >Lucifer took back the apple from Al and sliced it into 7 pieces. Possibly referencing the 7 deadly sins.
- -
- >"I'll humor you on this. If you make Charlie fall in love with you within 7 days and even convince me to accept you, you'll not only have power but you'll be able to be with her for eternity."
- >Al became interested in the deal and feels hope. He can do this.
- "However, fail, and a random fate will be decided unto you. You might still get powers but you may never be able to see her again. Maybe, maybe not, who knows. It's a bit of a gamble if I have to tell you that. Now, I will tell you I won't be counting the three days she remains in Hell so don't fret yourself."
- "Now, onto the last question. Do you accept this challenge? With this deal, I'll give you a few minutes to consider 'yes' or 'no.'"
- >Al pondered hard on this, on one hand, he could become nearly unstoppable and perhaps even become King, ruling with his Queen. On the other, there's the gamble that made Al a bit worried.
- "Time's ticking Alexander... I might have to close our deal and leave since it looks like you don't want to accept."
- >Out of sheer determination, Al says yes.
- "So, we have a deal then?"
- >Lucifer gave Al his hand and waited for Al to accept.
- >Various screaming souls started flying around everywhere and the room was turning red.
- >Alexander, determined as ever, shook Lucifer's hand and sealed the deal.
- -
- >Lucifer became delighted and the souls disappeared, with the room returning to normal.
- "Now that it's been decided, perhaps I can guide you and provide a new outlook on your life."
- >Al felt a surge of energy and he looked at Lucifer.
- "Say, Alexander, we should come up with a new name for you since you're going to become an overlord soon. There's a general rule in Hell with not using your real name if you were curious."
- >Lucifer put his hand on his chin and got a bright idea.
- "So... Are you fond with the name 'Alastor?'"
- Part 16 is done and here's some free lore for my story. I hope all of you like it. Anyways, gotta blast
