- >Everything is muddled.
- >It feels like a haze.
- >You feel things grabbing you and holding you tight.
- >Little limbs coming from whatever.
- >You struggle.
- >Wiggle around and squirm.
- >Try to grab them and pull them away.
- >They frantically try to keep their hold.
- >It’s hard to make them let go.
- >As you become more awake, your strength returns too.
- >Sounds become clearer.
- >Things akin to grunts and snarls.
- >You feel air and wind too.
- >Then you finally release yourself.
- >You manage to get them off and you automatically get pulled away from their unwanted grasp.
- >You move.
- >On your own.
- >Unwillingly, actually.
- >You reach around with both arms and legs.
- >You touch nothing.
- >The wind hollers at you and the air tears at your clothing.
- >Your faded vision clears and you manage to focus.
- >A distant landscape far, far below you is the first thing that greets you.
- >JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, YOU’RE FALLING!
- >A sharp feminine voice cuts its way through the roaring wind.
- >”No! You fools!”
- >Waving all your limbs around like an idiot, you try to twirl around and see the source of the shout.
- >You really, REALLY hope it’s someone who intends to stop you from becoming an unpleasant smear on the ground below.
- >Your efforts don’t work so well and you just start spinning uncontrollably.
- >Goddammit!
- >But you do manage to catch a glimpse of some dark figures above you.
- >While your heart is hammering away at your chest, you silently pray they’re coming for you.
- >Only a few seconds later, you feel several small limbs latch on to you.
- >No fingers, though.
- >A citizen of Equestria. Duh.
- >Turning your head, you try to see your saviour.
- >Large cyan, pupil-less eyes set in a black face stare back at you.
- >CRAP!
- >In a surge of fright, you violently push the changeling away.
- >You remember now.
- >You were kidnapped by changelings!
- >Aided by the harsh wind, you manage to make the changeling lose his grip on you.
- >But immediately afterwards, another one practically tackles you from behind and wraps his legs around your torso.
- >The two of you twirl around awkwardly in the free air while you struggle with the stubborn assailant.
- >However, in the back of your mind, your more sensible self reminds you that, as a human being, you can’t really fly and you’re falling to your death.
- >It’s either being taken by these freaky guys or dying on the surface far below.
- >Suddenly, you stop plummeting.
- >A green aura envelops you and you’re turned around so you face the sky.
- >You feel a mix of relief and horror.
- >Mostly relief, you’ll admit.
- >Looking up, you see Chrysalis, flanked by plenty of changelings, diving towards you.
- >Her horns glows from her hold on you. And she looks angry.
- >That kills your relief somewhat.
- >She descends on you while you’re helpless to get out of her way, and her minions swarm around you.
- >She almost growls as she speaks, her predatory eyes and fangs adding an unnerving degree of intimidation to her words.
- >”Troublesome ape! Just go to sleep again!”
- >Her horn’s glow strengthens.
- >On reflex, your hand dashes out and you catch her horn.
- >As if dealing with a gun getting fired at your face, you try to wrench it in another direction.
- >Chrysalis winces with a surprising amount of pain and her head tilts in the desired direction.
- >And then gravity takes hold of you again.
- >You get sucked towards the ground (losing your hold on Chrysalis’ horn), falling between some changelings before dropping out of the little swarm.
- >Fuck! You didn’t think this would happen!
- >Chrysalis looks horrified before quickly diving after you again, followed by her obedient changelings.
- >With their quick reaction, it doesn’t take long before several of them encircle your falling form.
- >Chrysalis closes in and once again grabs you with her magic.
- >But this time your body goes rigid and you become as inanimate as a statue.
- >You feel a little stupid for what you did, so you don’t blame her for doing this.
- >She pulls you towards herself while her flock closes in around you.
- >Making you face her without letting you move, she gives you an annoyed look.
- >”Don’t do that again.”
- >Her glowing horn pulses once.
- >You remember the dizziness.
- >And, unsurprisingly, you lose consciousness.
