Covet: Eli was sitting down on the chair going over the finished order for next week, sending it off once he was satisfied. He leaned back into the cushions and crossed one leg over the other, putting his hands behind his back, in a very laid back casual manner.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam was in the process of restocking one of the racks for the new releases this week, his mind clearly elsewhere because he couldn't figure out what Gloria wanted or why the fuck she was STILL in the god damn house. He didn't have time to deal with her right now, but also didn't have the time or patience to find a way to get rid of her. He kept his head down as he worked diligently with sorting the comics into the respective places.-
Tsaaq: Bliss moved over to Eli with a smile, running her hand along the back of his chair before standing beside him. "How's the order going?" She asked softly. // Hayley was by one of the racks, flipping through the graphic novels before placing another on Eugene's already towering stack. "That one's good too." // Eugene practically toppled over once she added another book. "I don't know how I'm going to take all this home..." He muttered.
Covet: "All done and submitted," He said looking up at her with a smile as she walked up. "And how are you doing, My Love? Better question, How are the customers?" Eli asked looking around because he'd been kind of focused on what he was doing.
Alexithymiaa: -Finishing up what he was doing, he turned and headed across the shop to where Hayley was going through graphic novels, looking over what she was doing, but overall unsure of what she was working on. "Uhh... do you need help... with.." He paused, looking at Eugene. "...this?"-
Tsaaq: "Fantastic." She grinned. "I think they're doing pretty well. I just finished off the small rush we just had." She told him before squeezing into the seat beside him. // She turned and shrugged her shoulders. "You're driving back to Remy's apartment." She said in a monotone, picking up another novel and nodding. "Oh yeah this one is good." She said, adding to the pile. "Uh, I guess? I'm just giving him stuff to buy." Hayley told Adam, turning away to face the rack again. // He grunted a little and shifted the books in his arms. "No I mean... The flight home." He whined a bit before looking over to Adam and shrugging.
Covet: "That's fantastic to hear. Thank you for that." He told her and sat up, "I'm thinking we should have a cosplay event soon. But I was thinking something more along the lines of independent comics. something that people actually have to do some research for and be creative. What are you thoughts My Love?"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam examined the giant stack of books Hayley had set him up with, raising his brows and putting his arms out in offering to help the poor kid who looked like he was going to fall over any second. "That's... a lot of books, Halo. Here, let me help you with some of those."-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "You know, I was thinking the same thing. But what should we do? Halloween is coming up before we know it. Would you want to have a horror cosplay event?" She asked asnd crossed her legs. // "Gene's dad gave him a credit card. He can spend as much as he wants." Hayley said as she crossed her arms, still checking the rack. "Just two more." // "Oh uh... That's okay... I wanted reccomendations." Eugene stumbled. "I lift weights sometimes. I can handle it."
Covet: " I defintiely want to do something for Halloween too. We've done things like Marvel and DC, But I was thinkign of doing something sooner and featuring other companies, like Darkhorse, Aftershock, Action Lab, Valiant.. the lesser known ones, try to boost some sales of those other companies." Eli said leaning forward onto his knees.
Alexithymiaa: "Are you sure?" He asked in serious question, afraid that Eugene was going to fall. "I can just bring some of these to the counter for you so you dont have to hold them all. That's just silly." He offered again, holding his arms out.-
Tsaaq: Bliss nodded again. "True, true. Well we could do that around the beginning of September?" She suggedted with a tilt of her head. // "I don't know if you'd like Saga or not." She muttered, not quite paying attention to the concern. // Eugene's eyes went down to the books. "Um..." He trailed off reluctantly. "Okay sure." He shrugged, beginning to hand over the smaller books.
Covet: "That'd work, I like that Idea. Any ideas what to do for halloween this year?" He asked tilting his head to look at her. "We did Tim Burton theme last year, maybe something along the lines of classic horror monsters?"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam started to take the books from Eugene, stacking them together in his arms before turning to make his way over to the counter, depositing them there for him to purchase once Hayley was done loading him up. Turning back, he passed Eli and Bliss on his way to Hayley and Eugene, slowing his pace. "What are y'all working on?"-
Tsaaq: "Cosplay events." Bliss answered Adam before nodding at Eli. "That's exactly what I was thinking. Do you like that idea?" She asked Eli quickly. // Hayley shrugged and went to look over at whatever was left in Eugene's stack. "More?" // Eugene watched Adam walk away in kind of a daze before looking over to Hayley, jumping. "What? No." He answered hurriedly and began to step away.
Covet: "Yep, just thinking of things we could possibly do in the next couple of months. What are you guys up to over there?" Eli asked, then turned to Bliss, "I do, There's a lot of good things to utilize from that genre. Plus it'll be cool to see how everyone makes those characters their own."
Alexithymiaa: "Oh, that's cool. I'm excited for the next one." He said quickly before turning to walk backwards so he could face Eli and Bliss while making his way back to Hayley and Eugene. "Picking out graphic novels for Hayley's cousin." He whirled back around, stepping up to Hayley. "That's it, right? I think he's got almost every novel we have in the shop by this point..."-
Tsaaq: "First we're doing nonmainstream comic companies. Then we're doing horror." Bliss began to explain. She smiled. "Way to go with the sales Hayley!" She cheered. "Would you want to do another couple's cosplay?" She asked Eli. // Hayley furrowed her eyebrows awkwardly. "Okay..." She trailed off. "Lets go to the register." She murmured as she nodded. "Yeah he's got enough for now." She called out, leaning on the counter top.
Tsaaq: ((Oh frick. Eugene, it's fine keep going lol.))
Covet: "Nice, That's.. quite the stack of merchandise there. That's gonna boost tonight's sales for sure. Where's he from?" Eli asked, wondering how best to pack all that up. "Of course, I would. I assume you have an idea in mind already?" He asked with a grin.
Alexithymiaa: "Okay then." He said with a bit of a laugh, turning to follow them toward the front counter, stepping behind it so he could begin the forever task of scanning all of Eugene's items into the system. He picked up one at a time, scanning the barcode and pushing it over to Hayley to begin bagging it up for him.-
Tsaaq: "Right?" She stood up. "Perhaps a couple of bags would be best for such a large amount?" Bliss suggested. She smiled over at Eli. "I might have a few things in mind." She said coyly. // Hayley nodded, grabbing the books and putting the first few into a bag before waiting for the next round. "Maybe next time hang out with me when I'm not working?" Hayley suggested with a raise of her eyebrow. // He looked between his books and Adam before glancing Hayley over. "Um, yeah. That sounds like... A thing." He replied awkwardly. "Can't I just come to your house tonight?" He asked.
Covet: "Are you sure you don't want to put those in a box?" Eli suggested, " I don't want the bags to get torn up. How are you getting home?" He asked the question at Eugene Then glanced at Bliss, "Oh do you? Care to fill me in My Love?"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam continued to scan off book after book, pushing them to Hayley as he went. When Eugene inquired about staying at the house, he winced, looking quickly into Hayley's face and stopping his scanning motions. "Uh... Gloria is still there...."-
Tsaaq: She put her index finger over her lips, shushing him. "I'll elaborate later." She whispered. "I think a box would be cumbersome... Unless you don't mind carryng a box?" // Hayley began to shook her head at Eugene. "Not tonight." She replied. "It's a little crowded at our house right now..." She trailed off. "Well tell the broad to leave." She whispered to Adam. "You don't even like her." // Eugene rose and eyebrow skeptically. "Oh..." He trailed off, looking disappointed. "You can come to Remy's apartment then?" He looked over to Eli and Bliss, dumbfounded. "Uh... bags are fine. No need to fuss."
Covet: "Are you sure, Man?" Eli asked him "If you think you'll be alright then we don't have to worry about it. I was just thinking one of the paper boxes from the copier paper might be handy since it's got handles and all." Eli said.
Alexithymiaa: "I just... I can't..." He stammered, finishing scanning the books and stacking them neatly for Hayley to pack up. He looked at the total on the screen, blowing out a deep breath. "So uh... that's two seventy nine nineteen...."-
Tsaaq: She rose and eyebrow as she looked over to Eli then Eugene, waiting on her reply. // Hayley pursed her lips. "Fine. I'll tell her." She answered calmly. She shrugged her shoulders, finishing up the bagging. // Eugene shook his head again. "It's fine, I promise!" He said, shaking his head. "Hayley if you don't want to be around that lady you can always hang out with me?" Eugene offered carefully.
Covet: "Wait, what's going on at the OCH now?" Eli asked hearing them talking about someone named Gloria. He was clearly curious and nosey about what went on there from time to time, as his friends still lived there and he wondered about how they were all doing with Thad.
Alexithymiaa: "No." He spoke quickly and shortly at Hayley, shaking his head. "Please don't. I'll take care of it. Just not tonight. Tomorrow." He said, nodding his head before looking at Eli. "Oh... uh... well..." He tried to find his words, stumbling over them awkwardly because he didnt even know how to refer to Gloria to someone who didn't know her.-
Tsaaq: "Is everything alright?" She asked with a tilt of her head. // "Oh, so now you want to say something when I suggest me stepping in?" Hayley asked looking a little annoying. "It's fine. Just some lady-jerk who thinks she can come into OCH, mooch off us whenever she wants even though everyone else pays to be there, just because she..." Hayley paused and scoffed. "Nevermind it's nothing."  She muttered. "I don't want to be around my brother." Hayley told Eugene. // He furrowed his eyebrows and shrugged. "We can just hang out in the music room?" He muttered, trying to hear more about the situation.
Covet: "Wow.. That sounds.. unfortunate. If you guys need anything.. help.. or to talk you know you can talk to us right?" Eli said, frowning a little as he looked over to Bliss.
Alexithymiaa: "I just don't want to cause any unnecessary hostility, is all." He reassured everyone, trying to end the topic of discussion there, closing out Eugene's purchase and putting his receipt in one of his many bags. "If y'all don't mind, I'm going to go ahead and clock out so I can get back and walk Lady before bed."-
Tsaaq: "Right. We're always here." She smiled as well then went to hold Eli's hand. // Hayley scoffed. "You already are by letting her stay in the first place. I'm becoming unnecessarily hostile." She replied hurriedly and went to clock out. "I don't want to hang out at my brother's apartment." She said sternly to Eugene and shook her head as she walked around the counter and to the exit. "I'll be outside waiting by the truck." // Eugene looked disheartened, taking his credit card and his bags as he watched Hayley walk out. "Uh... Guess I'll get out of you guy's hair." He said hurriedly.
Covet: "Yeah sure that's fine. Bliss and I can cover closing if you guys want to take off. Have a good night?" Eli said as he watched the drama happen in front of him. "Thanks for coming in, Hayley's Cousin." Eli said with a wave then gave a shrug, squeezing's Bliss's hand.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam stood awkwardly scratching his fingers into the back of his head, beyond baffled about what the right thing to do in this sort of situation even is. He didnt believe Gloria had anywhere else to go and felt bad turning her out onto the street, but at the same time he didn't want to have her stay. He clocked himself out of the computer, nodding his head to Eli, Bliss, and Eugene. "Thanks. Have a good night." Sending them a wave, he made his way quickly through the shop to the exit to step outside, heading down to his truck so he could take himself and Hayley home.-
Tsaaq: Bliss went to wave at everyone as they left and sighed a bit. "Should we work on getting closed up?" She asked him quietly, still looking concerned as Adam and Hayley left to store.
Tsaaq: ((*The))
Covet: "Mhhm. Sounds good to me.. I hope everything's alright there for them.. That was.. a little heated wasnt' it.z
Covet: [Dammit!]
Covet: wasn't it." He said then went to go lock the door so they could take their time closing up before heading upstairs, talking more in concern about their friends.
Tsaaq: ((Okay sleep.)
