- +nationalparksign __ I've now gone through the clip at a normal pace just once. Without examining it closer it is certainly one of the more convincing clips. *I still have a few things to say about it*. (I can see a few potential "reset poses".)
- One thing I'll mention now is this: we apparently saw at least 10 minutes of him appearing to eat some food. *Most people would find that incredibly boring* (yet there's 47K views for that Japanese video).
- And so the excuse that we aren't shown other videos of 10 minutes without cuts and edits "because it would be boring" *_no longer stands up to scrutiny_*.
- >> We can now cite this video as a counter example to the objection that the "ISS" always includes cuts and edits throughout a video so as to keep the audience from getting bored. <<
- If sustained duration footage of eating is okay to release without cuts *then wouldn't activities such as experiments and other neat tricks* for 10+ minutes at a time *also be okay to release without cuts and edits*?
- We can now legitimately ask: _"Why aren't there more videos like this? *Why is this the exception rather than the rule*?"_
- Also - we are not "hoaxtards" and do not assert as a fact about reality that there is no real and manned "ISS". If there is indeed a real and manned "ISS" then we can happily admit it. We are only pointing out that it is not possible to justify a belief in the "ISS" with what we are being presented with.
- Something like this video can help to justify that belief (if it passes scrutiny) *but at the same time* this video strongly suggests that the other footage we get from the "ISS" is surely being intentionally crippled. Because the "ISS" video archives *ought to be filled* with clips like this one.
- The video - however - did contain a huge number of cuts during the first five minutes and again during the final couple of minutes *so to have such a long segment completely free from any (obvious) cuts does not fit with the "style" of the video nor the style of "ISS" videos in general*.
- That's important! It would suggest that this video is a kind of "proof" video for those who might ask "Hey - I heard that there's no footage longer than 10 minutes!" "Oh really? Look at this one! Don't listen to those conspiracy theorists - they also say the Earth is flat!"
- So from that perspective a video like this serves a purpose. (We may find that each nation/culture has a "proof" video like this to deal with the criticism.)
- Again - it is also about first impressions. If your belief is formed about a *true thing* for *FALSE REASONS* then you have *trained yourself to accept* other true things for false reasons. And then it becomes the easiest thing in the world to have you accept false things for false reasons.
- Here I would also point out: Each year ten thousand magicians would appear to cut their assistant in half on stage. Just because *one of the performances is very convincing* does not mean anyone is being cut in half *or that the other 9,999 are any more real*.
- >> This kind of video should be the default. It shouldn't be that we had to hunt around specifically to find it! <<
- The other point I'd make is that this was a *pre-recorded video*. That does change everything. Not only could it be that six months was needed for post-production to get it looking perfect but let me put it this way:
- Suppose "David Blaine" were to cut an assistant in half on stage in front of a live audience. He would do this in a way that's convincing to most people though a few in the audience would be able to correctly doubt it.
- But now imagine if "David Blaine" were instead to show his audience *a pre-recorded video of himself cutting an assistant in half*! Is that AT ALL the same as doing it live?! Of course not. If he shows a pre-recorded video then his trick could be *completely convincing* - even to those who would know what to look for!
- The fact is that there's a *huge difference* between what we are shown "live" and what is shown with pre-recorded footage. But really - there should be no difference! If he could complete a ten minute segment without needing a cut or a take then he could conceivably do it live for ten minutes!
- But we don't see that! Instead we see the "astronauts" in the same rooms in the same positions giving the same answers to the same questions.
- __
- That the most convincing footage comes from pre-recorded footage should not be a surprise and should not be overlooked. The live footage - especially of those 20 to 30 minute "interviews" - *should be just as convincing as this pre-recorded video* - AND IT SHOULD BE THAT WAY *ALL THE TIME*!
- __
- Later today I'll go through the video frame by frame and look for potential editing points. If we can't find any then let's add this to a list of "Convincing ISS Videos" (and specify whether it's "live" or "pre-recorded"). Having a list of these videos will help us to deal with some of the questions we get.
- And just to repeat: the fact this video exists only demonstrates what I am pointing out: *that sufficient proof is being intentionally and systematically withheld (and crippled) so as to get people to accept truth for false reasons so that they are powerless to resist accepting false things when they are presented as true*.
