[8:55 PM] Mierihn: What would you do if say, the guild announced it is going on a break until 8.3?`
[8:56 PM] Phaei: i'd personally be ok with it, but i really dont think its a good idea, just because of i dont know how many people will be back by then
[8:56 PM] Phaei: and we have to recruit people as a forever 7/8 guild

[8:58 PM] Mierihn: There's also an option of dedicating an entire raid night to do bod raid clears every week until we have the mounts we want, is this something you might be interested in?

[8:53 PM] Mierihn: This being the situation regarding our current roster, and the possibilities are: 1. Continue trying to raid and pray for trials. 2. Break. 3. anything you might think of that we missed
[8:55 PM] Frufru: yo! ofc continue trying to raid with trials! and as i cant do much to help, i will try not to miss a raid in order to have a 20 people roster xD

[8:59 PM] Frufru: nothing i wont consider changing guild, its so hard to find friendly environments.
[9:00 PM] Mierihn: And let's say we announce weekly BOD clears in order to get everyone the mount, would you be interested in this?
[9:01 PM] Frufru: yes!tbh if find it soooo boring but i wont miss that

[9:05 PM] Frufru: nah since i cant do much to help sadly but have u considered "grabbing" some people for other guilds with lower progress?
[9:07 PM] Mierihn: Poaching rarely works out super well, and it's a ton of effort, but we are considering it
[9:10 PM] Frufru: well that's how i joined Ruin in BoD. I was 3/9M with good logs and they made me an offer jumped over to Mekka, so i believe there are much similar cases like mine, also  consider that people with lower progress are afraid to contact cutting edge guilds.

I personally think the correct play is to just keep trying to recruit and pray. I don't see break or re-clear working out long term. As for BoD I'm fine with doing those every week, would like to emphasize to people that these runs are to get mounts, not to get tmogs/gear/whatever on alts or stuff like that.

As for what I would do in case the guild did take a break, I'm not sure. I definitely would like to kill Azshara, but not sure I would join a different guild to do so. If the guild did break to next expansion I would join a different guild to raid. However, in the absence of a break, I'm staying with the guild as long as it's raiding.
