andwitches> The Dai-gunzan and the Nirvana have been mostly at peace since Katina left...  But the Energy onpboard the Dai-Gunzan begins to change...  the various beastmen seeming to ...  sense... something.
<Sandwitches> They all seem to be...  not quite on edge, but still not quite at ease...
<Kaguko> Simon's one of the first to feel it, just like last time. Some kind of feeling. Just a small one, now. Something's happening. Where is it...?
<Sandwitches> It...  almost seems to be coming from outside?
<Kaguko> He starts wandering around, hoping he'd find it. Or perhaps run into someone who'd know the answer. But...outside? That means--
<Kaguko> Simon heads for the nearest window, hoping to catch sight of something. If it was a threat or a problem, he'd have to make a turn to the mech bay and get out there. Just like Volkruss...
<Sandwitches> And...  Catches sight of a massive circle of energy...  and a Massive and familiar shape that passes through it...
<Sandwitches> The Dai-Gurren.
<Kaguko> He rubs his eyes for a moment. And then he practically PRESSES his face to the window!
<Kaguko> He almost immediately heads off down the hall not a moment too soon, eagerly. It's something he hadn't seen in years, something he'd been hoping for, for so long...
<Kaguko> It's time to investigate! Right now! No time to waste! And, hopefully, catch up...

<Sandwitches> As he runs down the hallways, he catches sight of many of the Beastmen groaning, others laughing, and...  many of the younger ones laughing and bouncing and pointing near the windows.
<Kaguko> "...Don't worry..." Simon mumbles to himself. "I'm ready. I'm here...!"
<Kaguko> Right to the hangar! Right into the Lagann, too! He sets off to board it as fast as possible!
<Kaguko> He's in such a hurry he's pretty much forgetting much else!
<Sandwitches> Such as the fact that Birdy is most defeintely NOT in the Gurren as he takes off!
<Kaguko> Crap...he only realizes that a moment later...
<Kaguko> But...he'll be bringing the others back to the Dai-Gunzan to hang out, won't he! Just to make sure of things, he tries to call Birdy, seeing if Lagann's comms system can get so specific...
<Kaguko> He should at least let her know where he's going!
<Sandwitches> "Ehhhhh?"  Birdy's voice responds a moment later...  The Girl jumping out of the ship right behind Gurren Lagann and climbing up onto its shoulder despite the fact they're in the vaccuum of space. "Do you know these guys?"
<Kaguko> "...Of course I do! My friends are back!"
<Kaguko> "Are...are you going to be okay?"
<Kaguko> "How are you doing that...?"
<Sandwitches> "Eh?"  She tilts her head, not... really understanding.
<Kaguko> Simon stares a bit... "Well, you're kind of sitting on the side of it. Every time you just sit around in space like that...it kinda makes me worried."
