- That night, resting in the forest, a dream came to Grimm. In it he sat in robes of white, wearing the face he had wore in his youth, jolly and full of life. He sat around with those he had loved, and those who he would love and cherish, friends and family, and the royal of the world bared his burden, and brought his guest and him food and drink. At the head of the table sat a man of unspeakable beauty, wearing the stars as a cloak and the sun as a cover for his hair. He spoke to the table.
- "So, when it comes to pass the events that will be the trial of your company, you must not discourage or fear. Look deep within the vaults of the fallen, and find the path to that which must be reviled above all things, that which must be sought and destroyed. Only you, Arizima, have been blessed with the future sight, that it may guide your eyes to a truth you must parse."
- He drank deeply, and Grimm after him. Grimm drank deep of the cup of knowledge, and awoke, the visions of his dream a blur to him. All but one, which is that when the end of this mission comes, he must search high and low for a link to that which must end.
