43. Annie Walker has been newly employed by the CIA. A guy named Auggie is a blind tech operative and helps Annie through the chaotic job. Annie has been recruited for her language skills as she is fluent in six languages, but it may turn out that she was hired because of someone from her past.
 44. Fresh out of the farm, Annie Walker must adapt to the challenging life of a CIA operative under the guidance of her handler, Auggie. But soon she realizes her recruit might have to do with her last boyfriend rather than her talent.
 45. Although I was excited when this show first started because i thought this would be an ALIAS oriented series, about recruiting a CIA operative etc...

This is not a show for the ones that love action or mystery. The twist of the show was having some "family" Drama since in the first 2 seasons the series focused on Annie (the main character - Piper Perabo) and what has to overcome to in terms of family relationships. Obsticles keep arising since her recruitment was made really quickly by CIA with the excuse that Annie is multingual and therefore she would be a great asset. Twist was that her former lover who she is seeking and she is haunted by his presence, had an Agenda and a past with the agency that recruited her, and the drama continues as Annie is being used to expose him and draw him out, but to the Agency's surprise Annie keeps pulling through on all missions assigned to her, thus proving herself and her "status" within CIA.

First 2 seasons, lacking of excitement (Actionwise) and action shots, but there was an overall plot that unraveled with each episode, so that made up for the crappy and badly conceived "missions" that presented on each episode and the lack of action/agent drama like ALIAS or any other spy show you have seen.

Season 3 and 4 are an even bigger disappointment, while the creators tried to keep the viewers with an Agency romance between Annie and her Handler(tech operative - Christopher Gorham, which to be fair seemed to be there from day one of the show, with mutual liking of each other, this show just does not make ANY Sense. There is no continuity from Season 1 to Season 4.

Instead of having separate and well maintained storyline on each episode so as to compensate the viewer, the writers try to keep a secondary plot that begun from season 3 and it's so badly written that leaves big gaps and it's really hard to follow. To be honest there is actually no common course over the seasons to make sense of. Most missions are not backed up by the secondary plot, or storyline throughout making this a big big mess. Most times even going from scene to scene on the same episode leaves you questioning your ability to follow this show...(!)

Concluding, I am so disappointed so I deleted all 3 seasons from my DVR
 46. I am absolutely IN LOVE with Covert Affairs. It's one of those shows that you just can't take your eyes off of. This show has something for everyone. It has romance, action, explosions, and some of the most beautiful shoes a girl has ever seen. The character relationships are flawed and outstanding. Every actor carries their weight and really adds to the depth of the show. The ever-evolving relationship between Annie and Auggie always keeps you wanting more. It helps that neither of them is bad on the eyes. In fact, none of the actors are. The sets are gorgeous and the filming style is perfect. The one and only critique I have for this show is that it tends to lean the story more towards the day by day "villian of the week" plot and less towards the evolving relationships between characters. Season 3 showed that they are improving though. The balance is shifting. I can't wait to see what's in store in Season 4.
