Who are you? Interpret this as you will.
Shitposter extraodanaire, just looking to do my part to make this server the best it can be. I owe a lot to this server especially recently due to a change in my current job circumstance and would like to see others have this opportunity.
I joke a lot but ultimately I care deeply for what goes on here and want to keep the channels clean in the sense that specific content belongs in the right channels. I especially want to keep the rif raff spammers out of here.

How much free time do you have? Moderating requires quite a bit of time - are you able to keep up? Please detail any time constraints you have (work, school, etc)
No school, just work, starting a new job on the 27th so free time is unknown but will be working from home so I expect I will be able to keep a suffecient eye on things even if not actively chatting.

What moderating or other leadership experience do you have? What have you learned from that experience (online or off)?
Ran my own gaming server of 100+ active players which included policing of spammers. I have learned people will often suck up to people of power to try to move things in their own way to accomplish things on their agenda. One must be wary of such attempts to not be taken advantage of, potentially hurting the server as a whole.

What has your experience with the server been? How have you contributed?
My experience with the server has been extraordinay. It is an amazingly helpful community that has furthered my knowledge immensely. I have helped a decent number of people accomplish their goals and at the least point them in the right direction of where they should be looking to find the answers.
As far as I am concerned, there is no greater feeling then helping someone and also watching the light bulb go off in their head when they finally understand a new concept.

Why do you want to moderate here? Why are you fit for the task?
I simply want to be apart of the team and help further contribute where I can. I think this discord channel will provide life long friendships as time goes on and I want to be apart of it. I want to make sure the channel stays true to what it currently is and feel I am a great person for the job.
One example of my current impact is in the job offers channel, since becoming a mod helper in that channel all posts have conformed to the proper format, and majority of the recent posts unrelated to job postings have been pruned.

What is your moderation “style” ?
To be understanding and try to teach people the right way to use the server as opposed to ban hammering noobs. I want to teach and train and not rule with an iron fist. Granted, there is a need for this sometimes for repeat offenders, however I would give a user every opportunity to get better before using such action.
I have only seen once instance where a ban would be necessary and it was related to the marketing spammer.

What changes would you make to the discord, if any?
I still would like to see a ticket bot, or perhaps a seperate forum where questions were fed via rss feed into the channel and could be answered/marked as resolved.
I think the forum or ticketing bot would be great because it would allow users to search through previously asked questions to relate to a current issue they are having.
(roflmeister and I have discussed this and are in somewhat agreeance this is a great idea)

What is your opinion on the Salesforce Discord community?
Its outstanding, I am so grateeful this server exists. I have made a ton of new friends and gained some essential knowledge from it. The culture is amazing and I feel right at home with everyone. My goal is to give everyone else that same feeling.
