  1. WaSuYu Chapter 2 - Minowa Gin
  2. Expert mode scenario 1 - Cooking Together!
  3. Shinjukan Elementary School
  4. Classroom
  5. Gi: Hell yeah, it's finally recess! Time for lunch!
  6. Su: You sure are in high spirits, Gin.
  7. Gi: Yeah, because I won't have to eat school lunch today! It's the weekly bento day! I mean, school lunch isn't bad, but a bento means I can eat the stuff I like!
  8. Su: I believe you're aware, but the main purpose of elementary school is to study, not to eat.
  9. So: Guuh~...
  10. Gi: Whoa! You may confuse it for a rumbling stomach, but it's just a snoring Sonoko! You can't sleep now, it's lunchtime!
  11. So: Mhmn... yawn... Oh~. Morning, Mino-san, Wasshi~.
  12. Su: Good morning, Sonocchi. I believe you're aware, but you shouldn't sleep during class.
  13. So: Ehehe~. Hearing the teacher chant that spell made me kinda sleepy~.
  14. Su: I think she just read a passage from the textbook... but you're right, it did sound like some sort of incantation.
  15. Gi: Sumi aside, Sonoko still aces her tests even if all she hears are magic spells.
  16. So: Oh, but I had zero points on the last one~.
  17. Su: You forgot to write your name again...
  18. Gi: Ah, more importantly, it's noon! Lunchtime! Let's put our desks together and eat~!
  19. Su: Wow~... Wasshi's bento is amazing as usual~!
  20. Gi: And Japanese food only of course... Well, looks yuumy though. Don't you have fried prawns or something on the bottom layer?
  21. Su: Furaied purans...? I don't understand the point of covering them in bread crumbs. I do have tenpura, however.*
  22. Gi: So you do have them!
  23. Su: Although preserving their crispiness over extended periods of time is a bit tricky.
  24. So: Wait. Did you make all of this, Wasshi?
  25. Su: That's right. My mother would be eager to make my bento, but there would be Western dishes in it if I left it to her...
  26. Gi: Whew, you're committed...
  27. Su: Aren't you making your own bento as well, Gin?
  28. Gi: Hm? Hehe, yup. That's why it's full of the stuff I like!
  29. So: You two are amazing~. I've never done any cooking~.
  30. Su: ...I could teach you how to cook, if you'd like. I think it'll be easy for you once you've seen how it works.
  31. So: Huh!? A-Are you sure!? You'd teach me, Wasshi!?
  32. Su: Yes. You could come to my house one of these days... wh-what do you think?
  33. So: Waah~! Can I really come over to your home, Wasshi!? Gladly, I'll come~!
  34. Gi: Sumi-san's cooking study group, huh. Sounds fun, I'm in.
  35.
  36. *Tenpura and fried prawns are fundamentally the same dish, but the latter has bread crumbs added to the coating before frying. Because of that, Tenpura is considered a Japanese-style dish, while fried prawns are seen as Western.
