Fire Emblem - Mage-Only Playthroughs

I'm stupid and feel like doing stupid things, so I'm doing a mage-only playthrough of some fire emblem games. Here are some rules I've set for myself, to make it a reasonable challenge but also still fun. These aren't strict rules and I'll likely make soft exceptions because I don't want to turn this too much into a reset-fest. This is subject to change.

Fire Emblem 9: Path of Radiance

-Ike can be used without restriction
-The following mages can be used without restriction: Soren, Ilyana, Tormod, Calill, Bastian
-The following staff-users can be used without restriction: Rhys, Mist, Elincia
-Reyson is allowed
-Thieves (Volke/Sothe) are allowed solely for thieving purposes
-Before the base is available, forced-deployed units can be used, though I'd prefer avoiding to use them.
