  1. [15:33:45] After watching Liara and Batkem spar, the drakanite would walk out of the Keep with Vivica. The girl wished to have a spar where he didn't hold back much, if at all. Even if she did wish for that, he knew he would be holding back to an extent so that he wouldn't cause more damage than needed.
  2.
  3. This however was still going to be a rather harsh lesson in pain and ability for Vivica. Raja was taught by his mother to hit and be hard. The only thing he wasn't able to do himself that she could do was become a giant. Even that was something he didn't obtain solely due to the lack of drive to do so. If he felt it'd be useful, by all means he would have taken up his mothers mantle.
  4.
  5. "Well, you good to go Vivica? Going to be using a blunted scythe for this to avoid doing anything too serious to you, but it will hurt and I will come at you with a lot of force."
  6. (Raja Nagano)
  7. [15:37:10] Moshi Leradine: Oh, uh, Mr.
  8. [15:38:01] Moshi Leradine: Batkem wanted to tell you she loved you.
  9. [15:38:01] Moshi Leradine: But she's not back. So I'm doing it.
  10. [15:38:01] Ciel Loirdne: Where did she go?
  11. [15:38:52] Moshi Leradine: I think I saw her go into the caves? I don't know which direction.
  12. [15:38:52] Ciel Loirdne: Did she leave with a squad of soldiers?
  13. [15:39:44] Moshi Leradine: No.
  14. [15:39:44] Ciel Loirdne: I see. . . T-thanks for telling me.
  15. [15:39:44] Moshi Leradine: No problem, mister. That's a cool...
  16. [15:39:44] Moshi Leradine: Thingy. On your back.
  17. [15:40:35] Ciel Loirdne: Oh, this staff. Yes. It was gifted to me before.
  18. [15:40:35] Ciel Loirdne: Thank you. What's your name?
  19. [15:41:26] Moshi Leradine: Moshi. Moshi Leradine.
  20. [15:41:26] Their sparring was quite interesting. An unknown magic to Vivica that Batkem knew, nature magic, and all of Liara's own. It was amazing to watch, but now that it had come to an end along with their conversing, it was time to get trained by Raja.
  21.
  22. Vivica waited for awhile to train with Ciel, but the man was just too busy for her and teaching her about magic. Within Cinderfall the two would spar. A nod of her head was given.
  23.
  24. Hearing Ciel in the background and Moshi made her stomach turn upside down. Batkem had taken her leave. With a bit of panic, her eyes turned to face Raja with another nod of her head.
  25.
  26. "I'm ready to fight." Winds began to blow around her form, pushing around her attire. Lightning that sparked about her form earlier remained and moisture from the air was drawn in, mixed with lightning and wind.
  27.
  28. Heat emitted as well to form steam that clouded around her in a thickened form, almost enough that she could possible ride it.
  29.
  30. "I don't mind, Raja. I won't hold back. And I do not want you to hold back either!" She shouted over her whirlwinds whistling in her ears. "I'm ready." She was settling herself. Being calm. Her focus placed to Raja now completely.
  31. (Vivica Loirdne)
  32. [15:41:26] Ciel Loirdne: It's a pleasure, Moshi. Call me Ciel. Ciel Loirdne.
  33. [15:42:17] Moshi Leradine: Okay then, Ciel.
  34. [15:42:17] Ciel Loirdne: Mhm.
  35. [15:42:17] Ciel Loirdne: <*begins to watch Vivica's fight with anticipation, silently cheering her on*>
  36. [15:43:08] Moshi Leradine: ...Sooooo, are you a member of the Flame too? Or do you just use that staff for protection and stuff when you travel?
  37. [15:43:08] Moshi Leradine: <*turns to the fight, scooting over a bit*>
  38. [15:43:08] Ciel Loirdne: Ah. . . No. I'm not of the Eternal Flame.
  39. [15:44:00] Ciel Loirdne: However, I've come to assist Cinderfall.
  40. [15:44:00] Moshi Leradine: Oh, so you're an adventurer.
  41. [15:44:00] Ciel Loirdne: You can say that.
  42. [15:44:00] Ciel Loirdne: Yes, an adventurer.
  43. [15:45:42] Moshi Leradine: One of my friends is an adventurer, but they haven't really found anything cool, as far as I know.
  44. [15:45:42] Moshi Leradine: How about you? Do you have any treasure?
  45. [15:45:42] Ciel Loirdne: Mhm. Oh, me? No.
  46. [15:45:42] Eva Zyma: No treasure, Ciel?
  47. [15:45:42] Ciel Loirdne: No treasure, Eva.
  48. [15:46:33] Ciel Loirdne: I rely on my magic alone.
  49. [15:46:33] Eva Zyma: What about... your life, experiences, friends...?
  50. [15:46:33] Eva Zyma: Or is that too much 'metaphorical treasure'?
  51. [15:46:33] Moshi Leradine: Metaphorical treasure?
  52. [15:46:33] Ciel Loirdne: Mhm. I guess it is too much of a metaphorical treasure. I've assumed Moshi meant literal treasures.
  53. [15:47:24] Eva Zyma: Your clothes're pretty nice.
  54. [15:46:33] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 10)
  55. [15:46:33] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 9)
  56. [15:46:33] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 8)
  57. [15:46:33] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 7)
  58. [15:46:33] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 6)
  59. [15:47:24] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 5)
  60. [15:47:24] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 4)
  61. [15:47:24] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 3)
  62. [15:47:24] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 2)
  63. [15:47:24] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: 1)
  64. [15:47:24] Vivica Loirdne: (COUNTDOWN: Go!)
  65. [15:47:24] Moshi Leradine: Eh, I kinda did. Never heard of metaphorical treasure.
  66. [15:47:24] Moshi Leradine: ...Me, or Ciel?
  67. [15:47:24] Eva Zyma: Ciel.
  68. [15:47:24] Ciel Loirdne: I think she means yo---
  69. [15:47:24] Ciel Loirdne: Oh.
  70. [15:47:24] {combat} Vivica Loirdne has been defeated by Raja Nagano! They're unable to continue fighting.
  71. [15:47:24] Ciel Loirdne: Really? I never thought so, but thank you.
  72. [15:48:16] Eva Zyma: They're kind of like treasures, in a way.
  73. [15:49:58] Moshi Leradine: So, Ciel. What kind of magic do you use? Mrs. Batkem uses water and nature. Do you use that too?
  74. [15:49:58] Ciel Loirdne: Ah no. I use different magic than Mrs. Batkem.
  75. [15:50:49] Ciel Loirdne: I mainly use blood and ice.
  76. [15:50:49] Moshi Leradine: ...Blood and ice? I think I've seen blood, but not ice. How does that work?
  77. [15:51:40] Ciel Loirdne: A combination of both wind and water magic.
  78. [15:51:40] Ciel Loirdne: It's pretty complicated. You play with temperature.
  79. [15:51:40] Eva Zyma: Very cold.
  80. [15:52:32] Ciel Loirdne: Mhm.
  81. [15:52:32] Eva Zyma: Not much like blood, at all.
  82. [15:52:32] Eva Zyma: Besides the water piece, I guess.
  83. [15:53:23] Ciel Loirdne: Indeed. Blood magic is an advanced manipulation of water.
  84. [15:53:23] Ciel Loirdne: <*wants to give them a lecture about it, but he's worried with Batkem right now*>
  85. [15:53:23] Moshi Leradine: But aren't blood and water two different things?
  86. [15:54:14] Eva Zyma: There's a lot of water in blood.
  87. [15:54:14] Moshi Leradine: ...Really?
  88. [15:54:14] Eva Zyma: Yep.
  89. [15:55:05] Eva Zyma: That's right, right Ciel?
  90. [15:55:56] Ciel Loirdne: Hm?
  91. [15:55:56] Ciel Loirdne: O-oh.
  92. [15:55:56] Ciel Loirdne: Y-yes. Yes.
  93. [15:56:48] Moshi Leradine: There certainly is a lot of magic you can learn... Way too much to choose from, anyways.
  94. [15:56:48] Eva Zyma: Blood's pretty...
  95. [15:58:30] Having never fought with Vivica before, the drakanite was curious as to how her skills have been coming up till this point. All he recalled about her magic was that she was taking after Thom, or at least was wanting to read his notes on Elementals.
  96.
  97. Although he had very little prior knowledge of her skill and what magic she knew, he could assume a few things. Vivica was asking for a spar where he came full force, so he was going to give her something close to that. With his scythe drawn, scales grown and claws extended, his assault was kept up close for the most part, but he did run away to give himself a moment to think on how to approach Vivica because those winds of hers packed a punch and threw him off balance.
  98.
  99. With one last charge, Raja managed to hook his scythe behind Vivica and pull her firmly against his chest plate for a bear hug of pain and fun times! "Come on Vivica, you left yourself wide open for this! Ciel is raising AND training you! Pull your act together or you wont be able to protect no one at this rate!"
  100.
  101. His words were blunt and nothing really held them back because Sitrianna had been just as blunt with him, if not harder during his training under her. And now it was time for a little scene recreation!
  102.
  103. Vivica was firmly in his arms and his wings would flap. Their bodies would leave the ground and all of the sudden the drakanite would be doing a backflip, heading straight for the ground! THIS COULDN'T BE!?!?!?
  104.
  105. IT'S AN IZUNA DROP FROM HELL!!!!!!
  106.
  107. And with that, the pair would crash into the slightly soft dirt below with a thud.
  108. (Raja Nagano)
  109. [15:58:30] Ciel Loirdne: <*looks at Eva in surprise, before turning his head back to the battle*>
  110. [16:09:36] The battle was a tough one with Raja keeping in distance with her, slowing her movements to the best of his abilities and such. For a moment she found herself off balanace, vulnerable enough to allow Raja for his scythe to find its way behind her back.
  111.
  112. Thankfully it was a blunt weapon as stated, enabling him to pull Vivica up against him to yell in her face. His arms wrapped around hers and together they took off in the air and shorly after she attempted to squirm to get free, she found herself crashing into the ground with him.
  113.
  114. With a calm disposition, Vivica pushed him off, getting herself away from Raja and standing to her feet albeit it was a bit painful.
  115.
  116. "You know.. my mom used to be able to make storms out of her magic. I read it in her journal.. I wonder.." She spoke to him, lowering her tone towards the end to speak with herself.
  117.
  118. "Right." Her silver hues glanced to the sky and with focus, mana exuded from her form, pulling in more winds, increasing the size of the whirlwinds around her form.
  119.
  120. It was incredible the amount of mana she was attempting to use here. Fire and water magic made more steam that collected around her like a cloud, thickening enough to touch, allowing for lightning magic used as a conductor for lightning to travel through.
  121.
  122. Clouds within the sky themselves began to pull towards the city overhead as lightning sparked within them and rain began to fall lightly. From the air as well the droplets were pulled in.
  123.
  124. She was panting just a bit, focusing even more power within the amalgamated magics. From the sky did her eyes come down to focus again on Raja. Vivica was silent, but she was in full focus.
  125. (Vivica Loirdne)
  126. [16:12:09] {combat} Raja Nagano has been defeated by Vivica Loirdne! They're unable to continue fighting.
  127. [16:18:08] Maxwell Chengri: <*The man gave a brief nod in Ciel's direction.*> 'Eya.
  128. [16:18:08] Eva Zyma: Evening, Maxwell.
  129. [16:19:50] Maxwell Chengri: Mmm? 'Ey.
  130. [16:19:50] Ciel Loirdne: <*impatiently tapped his Cuisses*>
  131. [16:24:06] "Let's see if I can do what my mother could." She whispered to herself. Silver eyes kept on focus to Raja and in a matter of seconds did their battle begin once again.
  132.
  133. Assaults again Raja were given with water magic that blasted him back away to keep a distance which allowed Vivica to charge an attack and dash towards him, striking with high voltage of power.
  134.
  135. His magic too, however, continuously slowed her down. water cleansed away what spores stuck to her body. Winds and even fire buffetted his own movements, allowing lightning from above to strike down at her command, shocking the drakanite.
  136.
  137. Even fire torched the grass in a small area around her in attempts to keep him away, but with knowledge that drakanites were more attuned with those types of magics, she may have assumed it wouldn't be enough.
  138.
  139. Again more dashing around; hits were being taken, some were being dodged by each other, but in the end Vivica was the victor. A lucky pump of water had been formed, blasting through the whirlwinds that enveloped her suddenly, knocking Raja back on his ass.
  140.
  141. It seemed to be working. Fixing herself to create a storm and bring together her magics into a single, deadly mix. For a moment she could be seen floating within the air, but truly she had been sitting herself on the thickened cloud made and brought together by plenty of collected steam.
  142.
  143. Yet she was panting harder than before. Giving off as much mana as she was grew to be tiring albeit she was going to keep it up until she DROPPED.
  144.
  145. "Storms..." She took a pause, staring towards the sky again. The clouds darkened and thunder boomed throughout the lands. Rain fell ever harder and had been continously swept in her winds and healing minor wounds around her form.
  146.
  147. "I can do this. I won't be weak anymore." Though she was speaking to herself, it was loud for all to hear. Again she was ready if Raja wanted to continue.
  148. (Vivica Loirdne)
  149. [16:39:28] Time for round two, OOOOHHHH BOOOOOY!
  150.
  151. Right at the start of this round of fighting, Vivica seemed to be trying to pull of a different technique to assist her in fighting this time around. The clouds above would start to come closer to her and darken in coloration.
  152.
  153. Lightning, fire, wind, water, posion, and almost every type of elemental magic one could think of. The ground was getting wet and the grass slickened even with a mix of fire and lightning scorching patches here and there. Probably should have taken this fight a bit further away from the town to avoid accidental damage.
  154.
  155. Well, whatever happens to the surroundings, he'd pay for since he did agree to this and even started around here. Blows were traded, his body being shocked inside of his armor and him flopping around like a fish with one badly placed foot step. Some of the people would be heard laughing at the drakanites misfortune as his charge of poison accidently slammed him into the side of a market building.
  156.
  157. While reeling back from this, Vivica took advantage of him and managed to bring him down to his ass, doing a summersault as a result.
  158.
  159. Not wishing to stand back up, the drakanite was just super embarassed in himself for what just happened because he just got his ass kicked by a kid after losing his footing...something that a true warrior should never do after a point. So, remaining down on the ground for a moment, he'd collect himself before pushing his soaked body back up.
  160.
  161. "...We're never speaking of that mistake ever AGAIN! What mistake am I even talking about? I DON'T KNOW IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!"
  162.
  163. Looking to the crowd, he'd start to shout, obviously just joking around to hide his embarrassment. "YOU ALL SAW THAT, THERE WAS NO MISTAKE....RRIIIIIIGGGGHHHHTT!?!?!?"
  164.
  165. Immediately after saying this, Raja would hang his head and pick his scythe back up after burning off all the water on his body. Sighign, he'd look back to his old student. "You did good, and you better not become weak or you WILL be left behind by others for being a burden."
  166.
  167. Assuming his usual stance, he'd get back to serious mode as if NOTHING HAPPENED!
  168. (Raja Nagano)
  169. [16:42:01] {combat} Vivica Loirdne has been defeated by Raja Nagano! They're unable to continue fighting.
  170. [16:53:07] Unlike the first round, Raja seemed to be trying a little bit, granted he did mess up and still slip into a few water canons Vivica shot his way. It was pretty obvious that he was a little annoyed at himself after that little show he gave everyone on the sidelines where he 'pretended' to lose it for a moment.
  171.
  172. Thunderous clouds continued to boom and light up as Vivica seemed to be trying to create a storm of sorts to ride around on top of. This was definitely a new trick he hadn't seen before, so he was feeling a hint of...what is this feeling...pride?
  173.
  174. BLEH, who the heck needed Drakanite pride?
  175.
  176. Getting a little excited, Raja started to get a feel for the wet, yet scorched training ground they were using today. There were a few moments where some of the bystandards almost got drawn into their spar, but it was their fault for being so close...right?
  177.
  178. While Vivica's little storm clouds seemed cool and all, he knew something that combined three types of magic; wind, water, and lightning, would be taxing on the old mana supplies.
  179.
  180. Drawing out the fight a little, partially on purpose and partially because of mess up, the drakanite saw his moment to go for the metaphorical kill!
  181.
  182. Lifting his scythe, they'd skid across the top of the grounds, with poison underfoot and charge at the child. After building up quite the speed, he'd use his wings and take off like a fighter jet or something and come barreling straight into her stomach with the handle of his weapon.
  183.
  184. "Too open!"
  185.
  186. With that quick shout, the pair would come down to the ground and she'd get pinned under his blade as it'd dig in. "Not bad Vivi, gotta say, I'm impressed you're trying to pull off something this advanced at your age! But don't try out a new, imperfect technique in live combat. I can already tell this is taking a massive toll on your mana to keep up. Come at me again, but better utilize the resources you have availble."
  187.
  188. That said, he'd give his weapon a quick tug to free it from the ground await for her to prepare herself once more. "Come when ready."
  189. (Raja Nagano)
  190. [17:07:37] Vivica hadn't a reaction towards his mistake from the previous mistake Raja made, but instead she kept her heart and mind at total focus. She felt even more exhausted than the previous battles and with her downing now after trying again to ride within the steamy clouds formed, it only now obviously shown of the fatigued state she was falling into.
  191.
  192. A single moment within the open allowed for Raja to strike as he called her out on her mistake. Moments after she could feel the ground sliding up against her back.
  193.
  194. "Oof!" She felt quite weak, even dazed from the blow. A bit of blood actually had been coughed up there, but she turned away from the crowd forming to wipe of off and hide it away. The blow she took was rough, but this was what she wanted.
  195.
  196. "I won't be a burden to anyone." She spoke in almost a whisper for him to hear. She came back to a stand, stumbling a bit as she did. "I.. I will fight.." She took a moment to pause when immediately she straightened her form.
  197.
  198. This was pissing her off, but she wouldn't let his words affect her too much. Lightning began to strike at the ground around her - again Vivica drew more mana from her form to summon whirlwinds higher than before. Water was drawn in once again, lightning too struck and stuck around and by now she was supporting herself with the cloud that remained and spread along the area. A good advantage for her within battle if she used it properly.
  199.
  200. "I will fight until I fall!" She screamed out at the top of her lungs. Rain at this point was pouring, drenching anyone around who wasn't covering themselves. Vivica fell silent, giving herself a moment to recollect her thoughts and focus and when she was ready, she'd go in for a strike with a bolt on her hand, kicking her foot from the ground with high speeds towards him.
  201. (Vivica Loirdne)
  202. [17:09:20] {combat} Vivica Loirdne has been defeated by Raja Nagano! They're unable to continue fighting.
  203. [17:16:09] Ciel Loirdne: <*takes out an umbrella*>
  204. [17:18:43] With a wrapped up Alterosi being carried behind her by green tendrils, the spriggan made her way into the city with an obviously exhausted appearance. Her nicely made uniform, crafted for this engagement, was torn apart by countless blade slashes that cut at it. Ciel's hat, of course, was protected, but not from the onslaught of water which drenched her from head to toe. Two holy water magi fighting for hours on end lead to her being absolutely soaked.
  205.
  206. And it seemed that it was raining as she came in, too, which didn't help her much for drying off. The spriggan dropped her sunflower staff to the ground, allowing it to rejoin with the greenery as she rose her arm to give a wave to her husband.
  207.
  208. "I'm back!" the woman declares.
  209. (Batkem Loirdne)
  210. [17:20:25] Batkem Loirdne: <*Update, she has two people cocoons!*>
  211. [17:23:50] Having been dragged through the Trystle caverns toward the place where his true enemy laid, he knew that this place was going to derive his absolute hatred, fueling the wrath that boiled brightly while he was trapped within vines. "Could you let me go now? I think that I have been wrapped up long enough to know that I'm not going anywhere dammit!"
  212.
  213. Struggling as he tried to escape it was becoming more clear how much this situation had gone to shit, the fight was extreme and had left him crushed. "Just stick me in a cell or something, can you do that much?" he was not like the majority of people from New Alteros, his attitude held slightly more neutral than the others, but still he raged to escape.
  214. (Raphael Tebbris)
  215. [17:24:41] Maxwell Chengri: ...
  216. [17:26:24] "Fight till you fall ey? Well that can be arranged!"
  217.
  218. Having adapted to the sparring grounds after a few close matches, Raja was feeling up to par and could pull off a bit more of his restraint being used. Even though he was only holding back some of his strength, his skill was really the thing he was holding back with.
  219.
  220. Before his movements weren't coordinated and seemed to happen randomly, but this fight was much different than the others. The rhythem of the fight had found its way into his ears. His heart was pumping and his eye taking in every movement she made.
  221.
  222. Back and forth, Raja would dodge a blow from Vivica's staff and give one of his own. The swings of his blunted scythe weren't actually stronger, they were weaker if anything. Except now they were being used correctly to toss his weight around and throw her from the clouds she stood upon.
  223.
  224. "I warned you not to rely on an unfinished technique. So now you're going to be take a crash course back to the grounds you need to build youself up from!" Taking to the air, the drakanite seemed to have all but abandonded the lands he was fighting on before and instead had himself a little light show in the sky.
  225.
  226. Knowing Vivica could only keep this up for so long, he'd purposely play around with her and dodge the bolts of lightning and fire being shot his way. Of course this wasn't a flawless run of dark souls or anything, so he'd take a shot here and there.
  227.
  228. Feeling tired himself by now from all the mana he had been using and simply running around so much had him running a bit low. Wishing to end this, he'd prepare for an all out attack, brandishing his scythe like the god of death himself.
  229.
  230. Diving through the air, he didn't seem to care anymore for dodging and was going straight for Vivica. Fire, lightning, wind, water, it hurt to be hit, but he was detemined to end this here and now. And just like that, he'd twirl around in the air like some kind of top and literally bat Vivica from her clouds before sliding across the ground himself due to momentum...just in a better way.
  231.
  232. "Gahk! Son of a-!" Keeping himself from swearing, he'd roll across the ground comically and somehow manage to land back on his feet. "Haaaa....Vivica, when did you grow up to be this strong already!?! No one said you could damn it!"
  233.
  234. Joking around and feeling happy, he'd run over to Vivica and check on her. "Everything alright? Just sore, cut and battered? Nothing too bad?"
  235. (Raja Nagano)
  236. [17:30:40] The man slowly paced forward, eyes focused on the two newcomers, sure enough Batkem had not only participated in the war, but she had also somehow captured two of the enemy soldiers, a feat which certainly impressed the warfront veteran.
  237.
  238. "Damn, Y'know, I wasn't expectin' you'd have trouble on your expedition, given you can give me a run for my crowns in a fight- but, I didn't think ya' would come back with some prisoners in tow." Maxwell chimed allowed as he slowly made his way towards Kassina and Raphael, taking his sweet time in observing the confined duo.
  239.
  240. "Haha! Ahh- I love it! New faces, new perspectives! Think they'd answer my questions, if'n I asked them about New Alteros, or Nostvale? Oh-...Maybe they'll be able ta' identify the man I beat the tar out of durin' my own trip! This'll be fun!" The rambling never seemed to end from the man, his excitement completely unrestrained as he all but ignored the status of Batkem and the Cinderfallian expedition, to merely observe their new prisoners.
  241. (Maxwell Chengri)
  242. [17:31:31] She proved to be rather useless against her opponent, something that hadn't happened since she was young. It was rather dawning on her, as she had hardly ever lost a fight, and if she did, it was by the skin of her opponents teeth. For now, she'd allow herself to be taken to Cinderfall, wrapped in the plants that had brought her down just a few moments ago.
  243.
  244. "No use in begging right now, they'll do to us what they please."
  245.
  246. Those were the only words she spoke to her comrad, she'd fall silent after that. She knew not what her opponent had planned, but they spoke of not having deadly intent, which she hoped that she would stick to, not for her sake, but for her children that lived here.
  247. (Kassina Brynhilde)
  248. [17:32:22] Watching the spar, he couldn't help but be impressed by Vivica's power. And although he hated Raja, he respected the drakanite's strength, recognizing his capabilities.
  249.
  250. However, he just tapped on his armored thighs repeatedly as he awaited for Batkem in worry - albeit his features remained expressionless.
  251.
  252. Soon, he heard a quite familiar voice, and also a commotion as he turned to see a group of people appear.
  253.
  254. With an umbrella, he almost instantenously disappeared from sight, only to re-appear close to Batkem. Though, it still pales in comparison to Maxwell's speed.
  255.
  256. Without a word, he raised the umbrella even higher, to protect her from the rain. "You'll get sick." He said, before turning his gaze towards the captives. They're not your common soldier.
  257.
  258. "Damn . . ." He said, not knowing whether he should be mad or not. Just how powerful did she already become?
  259. (Ciel Loirdne)
  260. [17:40:03] An imperfect technique used within battle, something more she needed to practice with to perfect. The wielding of storms, something her mother was able to do. Within that woman's journal were further details that needed to be looked over, studied, and practiced.. somehow.
  261.
  262. The child's speed at which she conjured her spells at Raja were slower paced than before, an obvious presenation that she was exhausted due to putting out as much mana within her circuits as she had.
  263.
  264. Even she was on the brink of felling and with Raja's blow to her, knocking her off the cloud she had herself carried upon, it dazed her much more than before.
  265.
  266. Her body felt numb, her magics dispelled and rain continued to pour over the lands, buildings, and crowd gather before them - her mother had made a reappearance with prisoners it seemed.
  267.
  268. Vivica's head dropped back against the soaked lands. Sweat beat off her visage albeit unnoticed due to the rain. Raja had approached her to make sure she was alright --
  269.
  270. "Ugh.. y-ya.. I.. I think.. I can.. still keeping going.." Vivica wanted to keep going until she truly dropped, but as she tried to pull herself up, she weakly fell back over.
  271.
  272. "I.. I can do it, Raja.." Her body truly felt numbed from the amount of power she had summoned before Cinderfall residents. Eyeing Ciel near Batkem, her silver hues turned back to Raja with a grin.
  273.
  274. "I'm.. not that strong.. but.. I.. I have to... keep training..." Again her head fell backwards. That was definitely more exhausting than before.
  275.
  276. "Storms.. are... hard to make..." She said while panting heavily. A bit of laughter came from her. "Batkem... she came back.. just like she said she would." More giggling came from her, grateful for the woman's return.
  277. (Vivica Loirdne)
  278. [17:50:17] Shaking his head with a light smile, his teeth would show through. Rarely did his smiles grow this wide these days, but there were odd occasions where it did. Not that it was odd to see him smile in such a way.
  279.
  280. Reaching down, he'd try and give the girl a little mana to try and give her the energy needed to stand. "You did good Vivi, but you shouldn't use that technique till you know its limitations and have a complete understanding of what exactly it is and can do."
  281.
  282. Moving a hand through his hair, a wet mass of water would run down his back. Wringing his hair slightly, the hair that usually obscured his face had been removed. Flicking the water to the side, he'd reach down and lift the poor girl up.
  283.
  284. "We can pick this up again at a later date. Till then, keep practicing in your down time. You said you wish to become strong and want to protect others? Then work harder than everyone else...just avoid burning out like I did because that isn't good or fun."
  285.
  286. Sighing, his attention would shift to Batkem and the others, curious what was going on.
  287. (Raja Nagano)
  288. [17:58:49] The Krausite priestess looked down to Raphael, giving a nod while water continued to drip from her white hair, currently braided to keep it out of her face. "You and the your partner will be going into a special prison I created, you'll hopefully be happy there," the woman says, not quite explaining exactly what the place was just yet. "I told you, I would not kill you. That is not my intent. Whether you wish to ever leave the place or not is up to you."
  289.
  290. As Maxwell came up, she gave a light shake of her head. "You can speak to them in Eden, I need to bring them their first," Batkem says before turning with a wide grin to her arrived husband. The umbrella helped to stop the downpour conjured by her daughter, but the spriggan was already soaked. She stepped up and pressed her lips to his, wrapping her arms about him in a wet hug.
  291.
  292. "I'm sorry I never got to say goobye, Ciel. But wearing your hat makes it feel like you're with me."
  293.
  294. With the two addressed, Batkem gave a light wave to her daughter before taking the two cocooned people towards her grove, a beautiful little garden with overhanging trees and a bright sunflower standing from its center. But that wasn't their destination. Covered behind several trees and vegetation lied a cave entrance which she brought the two through.
  295.
  296. There was no light, the trio passing down a dark staircase of soil down the earth. But as they came deeper and deeper, light was eventually spotted from an exit. Finally, they came out into an incredibly odd sight. An underground paradise of sorts, a world beneath the spriggan's grove covered in plains, vegetation, and a beautiful river which cut through half of the area. A great many huts dotted the landscape, while there were roughly a hundred or so inhabitants, and even some new born children.
  297.
  298. At the very center sat two lodestones, the stone of earth and the stone of water providing mana to a strange mass of green plantlife connected to a thick stalk which rose all the way from the ground to the ceiling, the stalk of the Sunflower which sat on the surface. From where it met the earthen top, magical sunlight basked down to the light up the area.
  299.
  300. The two were brought forth some before vines gripped at their equipment to strip them to nothing but whatever clothes they held underneath. Taking their belongings, they were freed. "This is Eden, an underground prison with the purpose of redemption or life long imprisonment. The choice of what comes is yours. Violence is impossible, as nature will shoot out to stop you. There are many copies of the Book of Kraus to read, but at the moment, there's nothing else. Regardless of whether you wish to see the light of the angels or not, I hope you will be happy here. Merely ask aloud if you wish a visitor, as I'm always watching in one way or another," Batkem explains before stepping out, vines blocking the entrace as she leaves.
  301.
  302. What she didn't explain was the constant drain upon mana of all within, something that the two would feel immediately. The very vegetation constantly sapped at their mana circuits to stop them from using magic, while also collecting it for some purpose.
  303. (Batkem Loirdne)
  304. [18:03:56] A bit of power had been restored to the girl thanks to Raja. Her attire was soaked and muddied, Raja had been soaked as well from the downpour she created with enough focus and power though it was completely draining.
  305.
  306. She had been helped to her feet, stumbling a bit as she came to a stand thanks to the help of Raja. Eyeing Batkem, Ciel, Maxwell, and the two newcomers for a moment, especially to wave back to her mother. Turning, Vivica kept her focus now on Raja.
  307.
  308. While her mother dragged the two prisoners to her special place, Vivica continue conversing with Raja.
  309.
  310. "Thank you, Raja.. I.. I will keep practicing... phew... I promise I will... making storms.. wow.. I am tired..." That's all she really had to say for the moment -
  311. (Vivica Loirdne)
