Baron Corbin - A Hall of Fame Career

Baron Corbin came in on the third NXT PPV called NXT Takeover: Fatal-4-Way and destroyed Juice Robinson (known then by his slave name, CJ Parker) in about 12 seconds! After this, he would go on to run through the competition before suffering his first loss at the hands of PAC (slave name : Adrian Neville) after the interference from Bull Dempsey! (Where even is he now anyways?) Baron Corbin would continue down his path of demolition and beating down Bull Dempsey in his next Takeover event in a No DQ Match that would send Bull Dempsey down a path towards being released.

After this courageous act of surviving Bull Dempsey by Baron Corbin, the sm*rks would start to now turn on Baron Corbin and would only be intensified when Samoa Joe arrived and Baron Corbin would shut him down as mentioned in one of his many famous promos.

"You know what bothers me? People who walk around and think they deserve something. They talk about the things they've done and gone all over the world and put on these amazing shows... well, I have never heard of these people. Anything they did, I could do. So if you want to tell me I didn't do it, that's fine, it doesn't bother me, save your opinion for someone who cares. I did what I had to do to get here, I simply made a phone call." -Baron Corbin

Unfortunately, Baron Corbin would suffer and unfortunate loss to Samoa Joe but it wouldn't stop him as he entered the Inaugural "Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic" and teamed with Rhyno to make it to the finals by defeating The Ascension, Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa and American Alpha, however, fell short to the team of Finn Balor & Samoa Joe in the Finals. (Thankfully it was Rhyno who was pinned and was kicked out of NXT shortly afterwards)

Baron Corbin would continue on his path to the NXT Championship by defeating Apollo Crews and earning a spot in the No. 1 Contenders Triple Threat with Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn but tapped out due to the unfair double team of Joe & Zayn with a Crossface/Sharpshooter combo. After the injustice carried out as a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (despite being advertised as a Triple Threat), Baron Corbin confronted William Regal about the issue but Regal denied Corbin and as a result, Corbin would attack new signee, Austin Aries (who thankfully left soon afterwards anyways) and lead to a match that, while Aries won via fluke, led to Baron Corbin debuting on the main roster and winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in his first WrestleMania match!

Now on the main roster, Baron Corbin would destroy the roster there too going through Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews and Kalisto, building his way up to the main event, where in his first Royal Rumble Match in 2017, would eliminate the unbeatable Braun Strowman (BY HIMSELF!!), however, he would end up having to be eliminated by The Undertaker as there were no others in the roster who could stand close to The Future King. After this performance, he would be entered into the Elimination Chamber and, while being eliminated by Jon M'oxley (slave name : Dean Ambrose), he would destroy M'oxley in the build to WrestleMania 33 to the point that M'oxley used his backstage influence to move their match to the preshow as he couldn't handle being so showed up by Baron Corbin and M'oxley furthered his influence by informing McHitler to build Corbin further by having him lose in an extremely important match so M'oxley could keep his ego.

Following WM33, M'oxley would get himself moved to RAW to get away from Corbin and keep his ego and thus, Baron Corbin would enter the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and even end up winning it! Baron Corbin would then confront then-WWE Champion and Future SCJerk Hall of Famer, Jinder Mahal, where he informed Mahal of his impending cash-in. It would only take about 7 weeks before Corbin would strike, cashing-in just a few days before SummerSlam but was distracted by another fragile egotist, John Cena, who managed to have Baron Corbin lose his MITB Briefcase. Corbin would challenge Cena to a match at SummerSlam but would end up being the victim of backstage politics and lose to John Cena. Once John Cena left, Corbin would target AJ Styles and win the United States Championship from him in a Triple Threat Match that also involved Shawn Spears (slave name : Tye Dillinger). Corbin would hold the Championship for 3 months before losing the Championship to Dolph Ziggler in another Triple Threat Match.

After this tragedy, Baron Corbin would allow others to rise to the top for a short time out of the kindness of his heart as he realised he had already become the biggest star on Smackdown and there was no where else for him to go. He would be drafted to RAW and would be appointed by Stephanie McMahon as the Constable of Monday Night RAW where he would run RAW for Stephanie McMahon as Kurt Angle had proven himself untrustworthy. During this time, any chance Baron Corbin had to make the show a major success, he would be undermined by bad decisions of Kurt Angle and when Roman Reigns announced he had Leukemia, The Constable would take over and accept that Roman Reigns had to forfeit the Universal Championship. Once again, out the the kindness of his heart, Baron Corbin offered a chance for Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman to compete for the Universal Championship, despite Baron Corbin being the clear biggest star that existed, however, due to disrespect from Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin ensured that the respectful World Champion class athlete and young up-and-comer, Brock Lesnar would be gifted a chance to be Universal Champion again.

Baron Corbin would take this chance to allow Seth Rollins to rise to the top and take the fall for the McMahons as they placed all their faults on him but Baron Corbin accepted that they just needed a scapegoat and that it was obvious that he was not the problem. The fans, however, wouldn't have it. Baron Corbin would mention it was clearly Kurt Angle's fault and after the last year of Kurt Angle clearly ruining RAW, Baron Corbin was challenged by Angle in his final match and Baron Corbin would defeat Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35. Following this win, Baron Corbin felt it was only natural that he should be the No. 1 Contender to the Universal Championship as there were no other people who came close to his mega star power. Baron Corbin took his time over the next 3 months and promoted Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch by granting the former 3 matches against him and even gave Becky Lynch her biggest moment of her life with a graceful 'End of Days'! After this, Corbin would enter the King of the Ring tournament and with pure honour, grace and athleticism, Baron Corbin would be crowned as the new King of the Universe.

Newly minted 'King Corbin' now spends his days shutting down stupid internet sm*rks like Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez while helping those who need the star power rub such as Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre and Daniel Bryan. The Great and Glorious King is a one true, first ballot Hall of Famer that is selfless, courageous and worthy of our worship and praise.
