We've been hanging out so much recently you'd think we'd get tired of each other. Who knew goodbyes could take so long?

Of course I remember! I'd never forget all this band stuff! It was a pretty big part of our lives back then.

It kind of still is. I think. Maybe? Do you still play as much as you used to?

Yeah, I do too. These days it's more for myself, though.

[excited gasp] Hey, what if we did like a little band reunion? Get everyone back together to hang out and play a little, what do you think?

If they're not really into it anymore, that's ok.

Do you ever miss it? Playing with the old band, I mean.

Same here. We meshed really well, and not just as a band. We used to hang out all the time before, even outside of our rehearsals.

[longing] You don't find those relationships often, you know?

But I guess people at different stages of their lives won't always be on the same page. [sigh]

Mhm. There was that one week when we started learning this and it was *all* you would listen to. I loved it.

I know that because that was also the week my car died on me! You used to drive me to and from our band meetings all the time!

Yep. And in your car, you had this song on repeat *forever*. [laughs]

I did it too, don't worry about it.

I promise I wasn't just using you for a ride, either. [chuckle]

Listen, I...I know it's already late, and you probably have things to do tomorrow, but could we maybe...sit for a while?

It's comforting. The...nostalgia of it all. It makes me want to make the most of the time we have.

Yeah, because...I know we've only recently started hanging out together again, but it's been great, right? I mean, it has been, for me, at least.


And it really reminded me of the past. Of our time as a band.

After we split up, everybody kind of went their separate ways. And we all lost contact. Which...sucked, obviously.

I don't think anybody *meant* for it to happen, but life can always...[sigh] get in the way of things.

It was difficult for me.

Not being able to see everybody anymore.

[softer] Not being able to see...you...anymore.

And I guess now...hanging out with you, and everybody else, it...it made it feel like all that time we lost didn't even matter.

And I...[deep breath] I feel like I should say this now. I didn't get the chance before, and now...I don't want us to drift apart again.

If I can help it, I won't let us drift apart again.

But...that was the past. And like I said, we were all at different stages of our lives.
