  1. This tune slaps!!!!!!!! It's a drum'n'bass tune from an obscure rhythm game from Japan called “Jubeat Saucer Fulfill”. I stumbled upon this tune when I was playing osu!taiko one day. I’d heard nothing like it before. Well, no. That’s not true. But it’s not often that I hear songs that have the vibe/atmosphere of this one. Dark and futuristic. And I really dug it from the moment I heard it. There are low-fidelity samples of acoustic drums, an electric bass patch, cool video gamey electronic synth sounds, electric pianos, wobble bass, fast sequences and scale runs with hella notes in em, and all sorts of other sick stuff. All stuff I really like.

  3. I went kinda crazy and added 2 low-end instruments instead of just 1. So there’s a lot going on down there. There’s a pitch-shifted electric guitar (my pseudo-bass guitar) and a low-passed electric piano. The pseudo-bass guitar is lower and the electric piano is a bit higher. I tried to EQ them both clearly. It sounds fine to me. Hopefully it’s the same for you.

  5. To understand and be able to play the weird fast electric piano lines, I sat at my laptop for many minutes listening to that section of the tune on YouTube at 0.5x speed over and over again trying to figure out the notes. Must’ve listened at least a dozen times. I was very determined.

  7. osu!taiko is fun. osu! in general is fun. This one taiko beatmap I played recently kinda sucked, though. The rhythms of the circles had nothing to do with the rhythms that appeared in the music. That had me kinda pressed.
