Minimum requirements are loosely defined and they can change a bit during development, we want to provide as rigorous an answer to this as possible, so this is gonna be a bit long, sorry!

First, these are the hard requirements:
- A DirectX 11 graphics card.
- Windows 7 or newer.
- Right now we support both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows but this may change to only 64. If you want to make sure you can run the game, ensure you have a 64bit version of Windows (most people have this).
- Minimum amount of GPU RAM would also fall in the category of hard requirements, this may change during final tweaking of the game for better or worse but 1GB is a safe estimate.

Regarding soft requirements, keep in mind that we don't consider a game like Diabotical playable at less than 120 FPS.

You will need something like a GTX 960/R9 280 to be able to reach 120 at "medium" settings (or even "low" settings if you want to play at native resolution in a high resolution monitor). You should really avoid this tier of cards, though!

You will need something like a GTX 970/GTX 1060/R9 290 to be able to reach 120 at "high" settings.

If you turn everything off (antialias, shadow mapping, ambient occlusion) and you use our scale scene setting to downscale your scene resolution, you should be able to reach 80-120 FPS in any DirectX 11 desktop card except maybe the very earliest. This if handy if you have a potato and you just care about the action, or if you are stuck with an old PC somewhere temporarily, but please don't stream the game like this! Chances are, however, that if you have a GPU this bad, your CPU won't be great either and you won't be able to handle game modes with a lot of action.

For the CPU side, you should at least have a Core i5 (or Phenom II X3), although a newer processor is recommended to guarantee smoothness in some game modes that feature a lot of eggbots being animated at the same time.

RAM doesn't affect performance as long as you have enough but it affects the kind of maps and mods that you can load, and we expect to have a vibrant content creation scene where people may come up with all sort of crazy stuff. So let's say 8 GB for minimum requirements, but go for at least 12-16 GB so you don't miss on anything. The same applies to VRAM, whenever choosing a board for a particular GPU, try to favor the ones with more memory.
