  1. 2019-01-18 Murky Station (casing)
  2. Jimmy, Sydney, Hoxton, Dallas
  3.
  4. [18:50:27] <Jimmy> *Later that night, when it's pitch black, the ideal time to scout, of course, Jimmy shows up at the front door, shaking like a kid and very absolutely high.* I'm ready!! Are you guys ready? I'm so fucking ready. Your van or my van?
  5. [18:51:34] <Dallas> *Whoa, NO. Dallas holds him still and has a look at his eyes.* You're high.
  6. [18:52:17] <Sydney> *Sydney just shakes her head.*
  7. [18:53:19] <Hoxton> *Hox is geared up. Light vest under his suit and his mask dangling on his belt. The interceptors, silenced, are securaly strapped to their holsters, the remi on his back. Looking actually eager to go to town. Just bringing the guns along to be safe. If it turns out to be safe, he'll leave em in the van.*
  8. [18:53:55] <Jimmy> .. Yeah, so? Gets me hyped up.
  9. [18:54:08] <Sydney> You don't want to be hyped up on a stealth mission, mate.
  10. [18:54:33] <Dallas> *to Jimmy* Are you carrying?
  11. [18:55:30] <Jimmy> .. Yeah, that- that makes sense- *He turns to Dallas, shaking his head.* Nuh-uh.
  12. [18:56:24] <Dallas> *Marginally better.* All right, that's fine. But you're not driving. Come around back with us. Van's parked there.
  13. [18:57:46] <Jimmy> *He nods again.* Got it, got it.
  14. [18:59:01] <Hoxton> *Hox flicks the cigarettle has been smoking into the little ashtray.* Let's get this show goin.
  15. [18:59:28] <Dallas> *Dallas leads the way out to the van. No Twitch. Poor guy would just end up asking too many questions about an utterly inexplicable situation. He gets behind the wheel, tells Jimmy to play GPS and guide him there.*
  16. [19:00:56] <Sydney> *During the drive, Sydney studies Jimmy's hair. Just how poofy really is it? Will she have to make additional allowances for it when making the mask? She ponders.*
  17. [19:03:15] <Jimmy> *Jimmy doesn't mind that Sydney keeps eyeing his hair- it's his best quality, after all.*
  18. [19:05:11] <Jimmy> *When they're at the road outside it, Jimmy stops Dallas.* Right, right. We're here. ?S time.
  19. [19:06:10] <Dallas> *Dallas slows the van, pulling over to have a look. If it's not too exposed, he'll just leave the van there.* How far to the place?
  20. [19:07:27] <Jimmy> Ah.. Just a block and then down that hill.
  21. [19:09:06] <Dallas> *Dallas leans over the wheel, peering that way. Of course, he doesn't see much.* All right, let's go on foot from here. *And he hops out.*
  22. [19:12:23] <Jimmy> *Jimmy nods, getting out and stretching.* ..Fuck, long drive.
  23. [19:20:19] <Sydney> *Sydney hops out of the van. She's wearing a lighter coat than she normally sports in this weather. She's got her 5/7 and her Cobra holstered, and a set of fancy-looking night vision binoculars. She glances around, looking for buildings she get get a good vantage point on top of.*
  24. [19:21:38] <Dallas> *Dallas wanders ahead to have a look at the site. No low slink, just walking along like he's headed somewhere. Single pistol holstered under his coat.*
  25. [19:23:22] <Jimmy> *Jimmy's got akimbo pistols under his coat, a coat he does not actually need but simply wears to blend in. He's following Dallas's stance, trying his very best to look casual.*
  26. [19:25:52] <Dallas> *Dallas notices the shadowing, drops back a bit to speak to Jimmy.* Show me the spot where you did your surveillance.
  27. [19:26:28] <Hoxton> *Hox follows quietly like a ghost. Keeping a tight lookout.*
  28. [19:26:39] <Jimmy> Uh.. *He points at a particularly tall, large tree.* Climbed up there.
  29. [19:27:54] <Sydney> *Sydney looks, then nods.* I'll try to find another good vantage point. Leave the sneaky-sneak to you gents.
  30. [19:27:56] <Dallas> *Dallas looks up at the bare tree, getting sudden flashbacks to the 1987 cult classic, Deadly Prey.* Huh.
  31. [19:28:30] <Jimmy> .. What, you can't climb trees?
  32. [19:28:38] <Dallas> No, it's just--nobody saw you?
  33. [19:28:53] <Hoxton> If ya fellas want me to spot, I got the rifle an scope. *Beat* Not climbin tough.
  34. [19:28:56] <Sydney> Nah, I can. But you've already looked from there, yeah? It helps to have more perspectives.
  35. [19:29:24] <Jimmy> Course not. Dark clothes in the middle o' the night.
  36. [19:30:31] <Jimmy> *He looks at Sydney, nodding.* .. Yeah, yeah. Good idea.
  37. [19:32:00] <Dallas> *to Sydney* Could get up on that bridge. Public access, clear line of sight down the length of the railyard.
  38. [19:33:13] <Hoxton> That's a no then? Right. *he shrugs, following.*
  39. [19:33:21] <Sydney> Yeah, seems like a good spot. *She heads off, slinking into the shadows.*
  40. [19:33:32] <Dallas> A no to what, exactly?
  41. [19:33:45] <Dallas> Can't give you an answer if you don't speak up, buddy.
  42. [19:35:04] <Hoxton> Offered to spot for us. *he shrugs* Not complainin though.
  43. [19:35:42] <Dallas> *Dallas says nothing, just gives him a long look and starts off down the stairs towards the railyard.*
  44. [19:38:20] <Jimmy> *Jimmy's crouched down by the fence, peering out.* ... One o' those trains's got my bomb in it.
  45. [19:39:37] <Hoxton> *Hox quietly looks around, searching for those drones escpecially.*
  46. [19:39:59] <Dallas> *Dallas moves along the fence, peering through the links. Quietly, to Jimmy* And no idea which car it's in?
  47. [19:40:39] <Jimmy> .. Nope. We'll have to check ?em all. ?ll be loot in the ones that don't have it, though, so-
  48. [19:41:22] <Hoxton> There has to be a way. That train car's gotta be marked.
  49. [19:42:01] <Jimmy> .. Yeah, yeah, could be.
  50. [19:42:02] <Dallas> Far end's right up against the water, right? We could have a boat come up alongside to pick up the bomb.
  51. [19:42:14] <Jimmy> We could use a boat, yeah.
  52. [19:45:49] <Dallas> They won't be expecting a boat. *Dallas walks up and down the length of the fence, pushes up close to have a look at the train.* Cars are marked. Maybe they've got a ledger we can check.
  53. [19:46:34] <Jimmy> .. Oh, shit, yeah, good idea.
  54. [19:47:24] <Dallas> *Any holes in the fence? Considering how tight security is, he's not getting his hopes up, but if there's a weak spot already, he might squeeze through and have a look around.*
  55. [19:47:58] <Hoxton> *Quietly* I'll could go walk around and check out the riverside.
  56. [19:50:31] <Jimmy> *It's an old fence, luckily. Could probably find something.*
  57. [19:52:27] <Jimmy> *He looks over at Hoxton.* Yeah, yeah. Riverside's a good idea.
  58. [19:53:10] <Hoxton> *Hox nods and quietly stalks around the fence, heading for the river.*
  59. [19:54:05] <Sydney> *Sydney eventually radios in.* Found the perfect spot. I can see most of the trainyard pretty well. I can see 4...no, 5 guys patrolling. Drones on top of every car.
  60. [19:54:27] <Sydney> Most of them aren't moving though.
  61.
  62. 2019-01-19
  63.
  64. [20:02:22] <Jimmy> *Jimmy's busy admiring a drone he's managed to get a good look at atop a tree.* God, tech's fuckin' beautiful.
  65. [20:06:15] <Sydney> Right pain in the ass, it's gonna be.
  66. [20:08:54] <Hoxton> *Hox speaks into the com* Drones? Shite. So jammer's might be handy. *He walks on, keeping close to the fence outside the yard.*
  67. [20:10:21] <Jimmy> *He's probably not even listening.* ... It's gotta be.. just this year.. Beautiful.
  68. [20:11:10] <Dallas> *Right, I'll build a small piece of the riverside. Stepping on fresh dank virgin snow over here, Hox. Thin now, melted in patches from dripping water, probably all gone by tomorrow, but he's the first human to step foot here since the snowfall. Glimpses of a silent train through the fence--brief movement as a uniformed Murky guard passes on his rounds, rubbing his hands to keep warm. Some aluminum (NOT ALUMINIUM, HA!) sheeting leaned against the fence. A clever man with a pair of cutters might carve himself a nice door here, then conceal it again, no harm done.*
  69. [20:11:42] <Dallas> *The Potomac looks great, by the way. Glossy lights on the opposite shore.*
  70. [20:12:54] <Dallas> *Dallas' voice on the radio, directed at Jimmy.* Focus... Eyes on the prize, gentlemen.
  71. [20:16:11] <Sydney> *Sydney's voice chimes in.* ...And lady.
  72. [20:16:35] <Jimmy> .. Yeah, yeah. Right, right. Sorry, boss. *...Is he allowed to call him boss?* On it. *He starts to shimmy his way down the tree.*
  73. [20:16:38] <Sydney> Actually no, lady just sounds weird.
  74. [20:17:17] <Hoxton> *Quiet and soft steps, lest the crunching betrays him. He hesitates for a second there as he notices the guard doing his rounds. And the tracks might be an issue as well. Shit, he'll deal with that later. He waits for a second, then walks on. The river does look really nice. If it ever freezes all the way? Sure hope not until they have gotten that bomb outta there.*
  75. [20:17:40] <Dallas> *Dallas amends his statement.* Eyes on the prize... buddies.
  76. [20:19:44] <Jimmy> .. How many days until we can do this? We're- we're running out of time.
  77. [20:21:38] <Dallas> *No worries about crunching. The snow's soft, melting away underfoot. Further along the water, beyond the trainyard, a couple timid fires lit in an encampment. Looks like a couple homeless people in the shadow of the bridge.*
  78. [20:22:16] <Hoxton> *Hox waits till he is sure the guard is on his merry way.* We got to have a good count on guards and those drone wankas. Guard shifts and that shite. We gotta get that openin.
  79. [20:22:49] <Dallas> *Dallas is walking up and down the fence on the opposite side, peering through at the train cars. Taking note of the numbers painted on their sides.*
  80. [20:23:01] <Hoxton> *Quietly* Also I think I see people up ahead.
  81. [20:23:59] <Dallas> *Oh hey, what's Sydney looking at right now?*
  82. [20:24:31] <Sydney> *Sydney's trying to get a handle on the guard patrols.*
  83. [20:24:52] <Hoxton> *Right. He very carefully makes his way towards the homeless. Just keeping out of sight for now and taking his rifle to watch the huddle of homeless people. Maybe those guys know something that might be shared for a couple crisp bills.*
  84. [20:27:26] <Jimmy> *On his way down the tree, Jimmy slips and goes tumbling into the snow.* ....... Ow.
  85. [20:27:41] <Dallas> *One of the guards has just zigzagged his way across the trainyard, hopped up a short flight of steps, and gone in through a doorway. Must be some kind of installation in there. If someone's operating these drones, he might be in there.*
  86. [20:29:23] <Dallas> *Hoxton--looks like two... wait, three. Three guys and their makeshift shelters, and a couple full shopping carts with all their worldly possessions.*
  87. [20:29:59] <Dallas> *Dallas looks over in surprise, coming over to help Jimmy up. Well, drag him to his feet, hissing under his breath* Jesus, anything broken?
  88. [20:31:03] <Sydney> *Sydney radios in.* Think there might be a security room on the far side. Might have drone controllers there.
  89. [20:32:06] <Jimmy> .. Nah. My bones don't break. *He chuckles, brushing off his coat.*
  90. [20:32:38] <Dallas> *Sydney, with her high vantage point, gets to see a little more from her crow's nest of a perch. Couple open access hatches--like trapdoors with ladders leading down. Must be service tunnels down there. Hard to tell if they're manned, however. None of the guards have gone in or out.*
  91. [20:35:18] <Dallas> *Dallas looks perturbed, moving sideways to peek through the fence. Checking to see if the coast is clear. Quietly, to Jimmy* Y'see that bit of broken fence there? Think you can fit?
  92. [20:35:31] <Sydney> *Sydney relays that info to the others.*
  93. [20:35:52] <Jimmy> *He kneels down, thinking.* ... Yeah, I can do that.
  94. [20:35:57] <Hoxton> *Hox considers for a moment. Right. He is armed to the teeth and it might be a bad move to approach but he does. Let's say he has a little money in his pockets, has he?*
  95. [20:37:30] <Hoxton> *And to Sydney* It's always darn tunnels, isnt it.
  96. [20:37:56] <Dallas> *Dallas takes another quick look both ways.* It's clear right now. If you're quick-- Yellow plate on the side of that car right there. *He points it out.* Go have a look, let me know what that is.
  97. [20:38:14] <Sydney> I honestly wouldn't know. Never really done anything like this before.
  98. [20:42:44] <Jimmy> *Jimmy drops down to his knees now, crawling under the fence near-effortlessly, going to the car and having a look.*
  99. [20:42:54] <Dallas> *And yeah, as much money as a man would reasonably carry on an outing such as this one. But more if he had plans to grease any palms.*
  100. [20:43:06] <Dallas> *LOADSAMONEY.*
  101. [20:46:12] <Dallas> *So Sydney gets a good view of Jimmy scooting under the fence and stealthing off. Jimmy--coast looks clear, and that EMP bomb is so close, you can almost taste it. But the big freight doors are closed and locked. Not even any obvious way to unlock them. As for the panel, it's a translucent yellow, with a touchscreen safely encapsuled underneath that's currently switched off. There's your open sesame.*
  102. [20:46:32] <Hoxton> *Right. Hox puts down the rifle, waffling for a moment and then putting it down by the fence. A little snow piled over it so no nosy guard will see. Or hobo for the matter. He buttons his jacket nice and tight, the interceptors concealed but within reach if stuff goes unruly. He then straightens, and goes to approach the bunch of hobos. Ready to grease up.*
  103. [20:49:15] <Jimmy> ... I can get this shit open. Easy.
  104. [20:50:18] <Dallas> *Only problem is--and Sydney gets to spot this before anyone else--there's a guard inbound with his flashlight. Coming around the train in the direction of Jimmy and the panel.*
  105. [20:50:46] <Sydney> Jimmy, guard! Get the fuck outta there!
  106. [20:51:49] <Dallas> *One of the two men huddled by the fire gives Hoxton a suspicious look as he approaches--then goes back to warming his hands, hunching his shoulders up. Ready to ignore him. This is his turf, and he's willing to defend it. The other guy's older. Big scruffy white beard. He gives Hox a nod.* Evening.
  107. [20:52:08] <Dallas> *The third guy's asleep, curled up under a blanket. 's why he was tough to spot at first. :D*
  108. [20:52:29] <Jimmy> *Jimmy immediately panics, dropping down onto his stomach once again and trying to get onto the other side before he's noticed.*
  109. [20:53:02] <Dallas> *Dallas grabs hold of him, yanking him through to the safe side.*
  110. [20:54:14] <Jimmy> ... shit. that- that was close.
  111. [20:54:45] <Dallas> *The guard comes around the corner just a second too late, pausing to shake the batteries in his flickering Maglite.*
  112. [20:54:45] <Sydney> I'll fuckin say. Shite, these fuckers can be fast.
  113. [20:55:00] <Hoxton> Evenin' fellas. *he nods back, watching them carefully.* Wonderin if you guys have a mo to talk. *he nods towards the trainyard.* You been livin here for a while?
  114. [20:55:08] <Dallas> *Dallas leads Jimmy back, away from the fence. Can't be too careful.* All right, what'd you see?
  115. [20:55:43] <Jimmy> .. There was a panel to open it. I can get it real easily. Simple shit.
  116. [20:56:29] <Dallas> *The old guy nods.* 'Bout a year now. *The other guy shoots them both a narrow-eyed, wary look, says to Hox* You some kinda fuckin' cop?
  117. [20:58:09] <Dallas> *Dallas looks a little surprised to hear that coming from this skinny scruff, but then--but then he did make that dog.* All right. Good work. *over the comms, to the whole team* Somebody talked about bringing a camera--who's got it?
  118. [21:00:49] <Sydney> I do. Been getting some nice shots of the whole area.
  119. [21:01:18] <Hoxton> *Hox carefully and openly reaches into his pockets. Slowly and non-threateningly. He pulls out a nice fifty dollar bill which he offers them.* Nah, let's say I am someone just curious about what's happenin in there. *he takes out another bill* No one worth rememberin eh? So. Let's say someone wanted in there as quietly as possible.
  120. [21:05:51] <Dallas> *Dallas says, absentmindedly* Attagirl. *Movement at one of the hatches. A guy in a hard hat and safety vest climbing out with some tools. He gets stopped by a Murkywater guard, shows him some ID, and is allowed to go his merry way.*
  121. [21:07:20] <Jimmy> .. Oy, we could get one of those IDs.
  122. [21:07:36] <Dallas> *The old man doesn't react, but the younger guy, looking sharp-eyed now at the scent of cash, says* Yeah, I've been in there. There's always a way in for those who look. *He doesn't reach out to take the money. Suspicious it might be a trick.*
  123. [21:07:59] <Dallas> *Dallas looks over at Jimmy in surprise.* Huh.
  124. [21:11:19] <Hoxton> Oh yeah you have? You gotta tell me how and where ya got in. I dont have much time to explore if ya understand. *He adds another bill.* This maybe helpin greasin the gears?
  125. [21:11:52] <Jimmy> Yeah, yeah. Get an ID, blend in right with the crowd, steal the bomb right under their noses. It'd be easy.
  126. [21:15:20] <Dallas> *The homeless guy looks suspicious, but the money's too good to pass up. He says* Yeah, I'll show you the spot. *He nervously rubs his nose, makes like he wants to take the money, stops himself. He's looking Hox over, trying to see if he's got a knife or something he means to shank him with when he reaches out.*
  127. [21:18:08] <Dallas> *Dallas seems a little skeptical at first, but he's gotta admit the idea's got merit.* Not sure Sydney or I could pass, and Hoxton's got a famous mug. You could do it, but you'd have to be sober for that. Think you can manage it, buddy?
  128. [21:18:30] <Hoxton> *Hox just tries to smile a charming smile (He can surely try) and puts the money down in front of him. He can respect a healthy dose of paranoia. The sleek knife is snug inside an inner pocket of his jacket but nothing the hobo should see or notice.*
  129. [21:19:31] <Jimmy> .. Yeah, I.. I can do it. I totally can. *He nods, giving a little smile.*
  130. [21:22:19] <Dallas> *The homeless guy steps on the money, scoots back until he's well outta reach of a knife swipe. Then hurriedly scoops up the cash, tucking it into a pocket.* Right. Follow me. *He takes Hox down to the water. There's a concrete dock down there--directly below where Hox passed earlier, hidden under an overhang--and a doorway. Looks like some kinda access tunnel. Goes straight under the railyard. There's a camera watching the dock, though.*
  131. [21:22:46] <Dallas> Homeless guy: It was a good spot, but ever since they started moving shit down there--
  132. [21:25:12] <Hoxton> *Hox waits till the man has his honestly earned cash and quietly follows, casting the other two a look. Sure he might flash cash like this and he wouldnt put it past some desperate guys to rob him for more. But he turns to look at the guy in front of him again and makes a little sound of approval. Nice. Very nice. A possible way inside that may lead straight under the trains. The cam is a bother but nothing they could not handle.*
  133. [21:25:28] <Hoxton> Movin shite down there? Into these tunnels?
  134. [21:27:58] <Dallas> *The guy says* Yeah. Like weapons. They had dogs, too. Big ones, real mean. Just--yap, yap yap. Then they got those drones, and we didn't have to deal with that goddamn barking every time anyone got close to the fence.
  135. [21:29:14] <Dallas> *Dallas gives Jimmy a look up and down, trying to picture him in that construction worker getup. It's a little tough to imagine, but stranger things have happened, right?* All right, let's head back up, huh?
  136. [21:30:27] <Jimmy> ... Gotcha. *He gives a quick nod.*
  137. [21:32:30] <Dallas> *Dallas leads the way back up the stairs to street level, casting a look across to Sydney's lookout. Giving a wide wave of his arm in greeting.*
  138. [21:33:32] <Jimmy> *Jimmy's only a few paces behind, waving as well.*
  139. [21:33:35] <Hoxton> *Weapons? Now that sounds like dollars sneaking back into his pockets again.* Interestin. And dogs huh? Well guess kinda better than drones. Do these fly all the time?
  140. [21:33:43] <Sydney> *Sydney waves in return. She seems about to go back down and join them, but decides to do a sweep for Hoxton first.*
  141. [21:34:38] <Dallas> *Bit tough to spot in the dark, but she should have a clear line of sight past the fence to him, standing there with a scruffy homeless guy.*
  142. [21:36:25] <Dallas> *Right you are! He can circle around the perimeter fence, then climb back up the steps to where they are.*
  143. [21:37:20] <Sydney> *Satisfied Hoxton can handle himself, Sydney climbs down and rejoins the others.* Hoxton's slumming it with some hobos. Should be back in a few.
  144. [21:38:17] <Dallas> *The homeless guy says no, not all the time. He tried watching them for a while, but they switch up the pattern every few days. Thing is, he says, they take a bit to start up once they are in the air, so you got a short window before you're seen.*
  145. [21:38:38] <Jimmy> He's found his people. *He grins, chuckling.*
  146. [21:38:58] <Dallas> *Dallas is still all business. He says to Sydney* While you were up there, did you see any yellow panels on the sides of those trains?
  147. [21:39:58] <Sydney> Yeah, I was wondering what those were.
  148. [21:40:34] <Dallas> Some kinda locking mechanism. *A nod to Jimmy.* He says he can open them, no problem.
  149. [21:41:29] <Sydney> *Sydney looks Jimmy up and down.* Really?
  150. [21:41:49] <Hoxton> And what about the guards? You know if they have guard shifts or somethin? *He nods, making a mental note. That's handy to know.*
  151. [21:42:41] <Jimmy> I built that dog, didn't I?
  152. [21:42:49] <Sydney> ...Fair enough.
  153. [21:43:00] <Sydney> How long do you think it'd take you?
  154. [21:43:32] <Jimmy> A matter of minutes. It's easy shit.
  155. [21:43:40] <Dallas> *The guy shakes his head.* Hell if I know. *beat* Whatever you're thinking of doing in there... don't get caught. *With that, he heads back towards the encampment, casting Hox a wary look.*
  156. [21:43:50] <Sydney> Minutes might be tough. There's a lot of patrols.
  157. [21:44:37] <Jimmy> If I get good enough tech It'll take seconds.
  158. [21:45:13] <Dallas> How long would it take for you to get your hands on that tech?
  159. [21:47:01] <Jimmy> I can get it second we're back at base.
  160. [21:47:43] <Hoxton> *Hox nods slowly.* Thanks mate. *He then walks back, carefully and making a circle around the encampment. Heading for his sniper rifle to pick up. Making a promise to grease that gun up nice and proper, he heads back to where he has left the group. Casting careful glances around.*
  161. [21:47:52] <Dallas> *Color Dallas impressed.* You might be onto something with that ID thing. If you disguise yourself as a worker, it might buy you some extra time to get the hacking done.
  162. [21:49:30] <Jimmy> Yeah, yeah... We can do it. I.... I can do it.
  163. [21:50:16] <Dallas> *Dallas is quiet for a moment, giving Hox a nod when he spots his approach.* I can't believe I'm saying this, but--we might actually be able to pull this caper off.
  164. [21:52:54] <Hoxton> *Hox is grinning as he approaches. Look at him. He still has the charm to convince people without threatening them.* Oi fellas. The boat might be a go. There is a dock with tunnels leadin under this trainyard. Could be loot in form of guns down there. Entry is watched by a cam but nothin to stop us, really.
  165. [21:53:31] <Hoxton> Had a friendly chat with some fellas living there.
  166. [21:55:55] <Dallas> *Dallas gets a slight frown, visualizing it all, but then he relaxes and gives Hox an approving nod.* Good work. *turning to the others* Damn good work, all three of you. Let's head back to the safehouse, put all this intel together.
  167. [21:57:15] <Hoxton> Yeah it's bleedin freezin. *He pulls the jacket tighter around himself.* What did ya guys find out? Couldnt listen to the coms while I was talkin.
  168. [21:57:44] <Sydney> Fill ya in in the car, yeah? I'm freezing my arse off.
  169. [21:58:48] <Hoxton> Sounds good. *A moment of silence, then chuckles.* And no alarm goin off.
  170. [21:59:39] <Dallas> Guess that's... case closed. *smoothly moving on from his dad joke, says to Hox* We'll get you up to speed on the ride back. *He starts off back in the direction of the van, fully expecting them to follow. And regarding Jimmy's brave shimmy under that fence?* Somebody get that kid a blanket before he freezes.
  171. [22:01:32] <Jimmy> .. I'm good, man. ?M good. *He nods, grinning.*
  172. [22:03:45] <Hoxton> *Hox turns to look a little confusedly to Jimmy.* Freezin? What happened?
  173. [22:04:15] <Dallas> Kid crawled under the fence, figured out how to get into the trains.
  174. [22:05:41] <Hoxton> *An arched eyebrow. That's more than he dared to believe Jimmy could do, all coked up.* Fuck me. Well done.
  175. [22:06:52] <Jimmy> *Jimmy smiles, brightly.* Aww, thank you, Hox!
  176. [22:08:27] <Hoxton> *Hox grins, shaking his head.* Credit where it's due. Also before I forget. Apparently those drones have a small window where they aint recording. Right up after they boot. *shrugs* Could be handy to know.
  177. [22:08:47] <Hoxton> *Another look at Jimmy.* Also is that... a twig in yer hair?
  178. [22:12:49] <Jimmy> Probably. Fell out of a tree.
  179. [22:15:56] <Hoxton> Jesus. Ya alright mate? *What the hell did you do, jimmy?*
  180.
  181. 2019-01-20
  182.
  183. [15:02:30] <Sydney> *Once they get back to the safehouse, Sydney uploads the footage she took, and starts printing out still frames to add to the heist wall.*
  184. [15:04:41] <Hoxton> *Hox steps into the safehouse, sighing in relief at the nice and warm. He shrugs out of his jacket and vest, carefully, and goes to stash them on his cot along with his guns. He joins the others a moment later, watching the still frames thoughtfully.*
  185. [15:06:46] <Jimmy> *Dot greets the heisters as they walk in, jumping up and yipping excitedly. Jimmy sits with the others, a neutral smile on his face.*
  186. [15:10:22] <Sydney> *After Sydney pins the last of the good frames of the footage she took, she takes a step back. She hesitates before admitting,* Dunno how much use I'll be during this one, gents. I can spot, but I'm not the most subtle person.
  187. [15:13:42] <Hoxton> Right. So ya know what? Heistin this sonuvabitch might turn out less of a suicide walk than lucrative. *to Sydney* Oh yeah we might have noticed. *He grins but goes more serious again.* Dont ya worry. Seems there'll be different approaches to this one. We got some kinda overview pic?
  188. [15:14:52] <Jimmy> ......I got a blueprint.
  189. [15:16:09] <Sydney> *She chuckles at the ribbing, then nods. The blueprint has been obscured slightly by other papers, but Sydney unearths it.*
  190. [15:19:54] <Hoxton> Ah brilliant. *he looks at it, then looks around the place.* Bloody markers. Where are they when we need em.
  191. [15:20:24] <Sydney> *Sydney digs in a pocket of her coat, producing several.*
  192. [15:21:30] <Jimmy> *Jimmy stands up, laughing.* Fuckin' artists.
  193. [15:22:36] <Hoxton> *A surprised look from Hox.* Where....bloody artists. *He takes one and squints. A little moment passes but then he finds the spot of the docks and deftly circles it.*
  194. [15:23:44] <Sydney> *Sydney grins.* Never know when you might have some inspiration. Or just get bored.
  195. [15:24:07] <Jimmy> *Jimmy grabs one, a green one. He likes green.*
  196. [15:24:19] <Sydney> I will be needing those back though.
  197. [15:24:40] <Jimmy> Yeah, gotcha.
  198. [15:27:47] <Jimmy> *He draws a circle around the panel he saw, followed by the model of said panel. Gotta be some way around it he just doesn't know yet.*
  199. [15:30:22] <Hoxton> Where did ya guys get in? I mean the fence aint the problem. Can be cut like a big balled bull.
  200. [15:30:38] <Jimmy> *He's also drawn a smiley face.*
  201. [15:31:23] <Jimmy> .. I crawled under an opening.
  202. [15:32:52] <Dallas> *Dallas has just come back with some late night snacks for the gang. He comes over to the heist wall, puts the box down. Donuts. He keeps quiet, just listening. Catching up on discussion.*
  203. [15:33:43] <Jimmy> What'd ya get from those hobos, Hoxton?
  204. [15:34:16] <Hoxton> *Hox scribbles "Dock Access" by the circle he has made. Enjoy a weirdly fancy handwriting.* The hobos? Oh yeah there were a couple campin out by this underpass. *He points to said spot* For more than a year.
  205. [15:34:58] <Jimmy> Did you get anything /relating to the mission?/
  206. [15:36:59] <Hoxton> No. *a deadpan look* Course, ya twat. They showed me the dockside access. And told me there's tunnels with loot in em. Cam is watchin the entrance though.
  207. [15:37:36] <Dallas> *Dallas finally speaks up, asking Jimmy* How heavy is this bomb of yours?
  208. [15:38:23] <Jimmy> ?Bout as heavy as a bomb would be. Sack o' rifles, ish.
  209. [15:40:22] <Hoxton> Ah and they said the drones have a short moment when they boot and dont record. Could be handy to know, I'd say.
  210. [15:40:52] <Hoxton> *With a grin* Does Twitch know how to steer a boat? Could make shite easier.
  211. [15:43:35] <Dallas> *quietly* Could come in from the water, too. They won't be expecting a river approach.
  212. [15:44:51] <Sydney> Might be good to have both options open. The bomb could be in one of the traincars far from the water.
  213. [15:45:37] <Jimmy> And if we're gonna do that whole ?disguise' thing, i'd need to come from the road.
  214. [15:45:51] <Hoxton> Disguise thing? Whatcha mean?
  215. [15:46:34] <Jimmy> .. Oh, Dallas had an idea.
  216. [15:48:20] <Dallas> Can't take credit for that--it was your idea. And a damn good one. *to Hox* Caught sight of a construction worker. Hard hat--you know. They got IDs letting them roam around the place unchecked.
  217. [15:49:30] <Hoxton> Now that's tasty info. Ya think you could sneak one of these cards?
  218. [15:49:48] <Sydney> Yeah, you'd be surprised what you can get away with with a hard hat, vest, and a clipboard.
  219. [15:50:01] <Hoxton> Thing is....*He looks around the gang, frowning a little. His face settles on Dallas, then at Jimmy.* Who's gonna do the disguisin?
  220. [15:50:10] <Jimmy> Yeah, yeah. Totally .. Thing is, though, Hox's got a known face, Dallas and Sydney wouldn't exactly be able to blend in, and your other friend's MIA, so if we were gonna do that, It'd have to be just me, and I don't know if you guys-
  221. [15:51:10] <Hoxton> You'd be able to lay off the coke for pullin that caper?
  222. [15:51:32] <Jimmy> Course. It's important to me that this works.
  223. [15:53:29] <Hoxton> *Hox doesnt look convinced* Blimey. So we gotta get ourselves a hardworkin friend for the time of that caper....or we could. *He stops awkwardly. Bain's name hasnt fallen yet.*
  224. [15:54:31] <Jimmy> .. Your boss has connections, right? Couldja ask him?
  225. [15:56:18] <Dallas> *Dallas is quiet for just a little too long before saying* Yeah, I'm sure Bain could get us a convincing mockup. Indistinguishable at a glance.
  226. [15:56:54] <Hoxton> *A glance at Dallas but he....DOESNT SHRUG but nods.* Probably easier than catchin one in the wild?
  227. [15:57:03] <Sydney> A lot less fun though.
  228. [15:57:26] <Hoxton> *A wistful sigh* Damn it's been way too long since any costume play.
  229. [15:57:38] <Sydney> *Sydney doesn't pick up on the awkwardness. She assumes Bain's already in on it.*
  230. [16:00:15] <Hoxton> Thing is...how the fook do we carry a whole bloody bomb unnoticed?
  231. [16:00:50] <Jimmy> ... Get a big bag. *Jimmy shut up*
  232. [16:01:30] <Sydney> I imagine it's probably not fully assembled, yeah? We'd just have to get all the parts.
  233. [16:02:44] <Hoxton> Yeah how many? I suppose coke jockey could assemble em without too much trouble, yeah?
  234. [16:03:02] <Dallas> *Dallas thinks about this for a moment, says* One of the locked panel cars was right up against the inner fence. Pretty close to the stairs. If it's in there, we'll have no trouble getting it out.
  235. [16:03:18] <Jimmy> .. 2? 3, maybe? Not sure.
  236. [16:07:45] <Hoxton> Would be fuckin handy to know where those parts are. Or how many. *He rubs his chin, then speaking up again.* Ya mention an operator?
  237. [16:08:52] <Dallas> For the drones?
  238. [16:09:47] <Jimmy> Should be an operator for them, yeah. Be too expensive and not worth it to have an off-site operator. That, or a set routine.
  239. [16:10:04] <Hoxton> Yeah. If we could tap their feeds or stored footage.
  240. [16:10:46] <Jimmy> Maybe. Dunno. They're high up. New model, too.
  241. [16:13:49] <Hoxton> Well this is your bloody operation. A little enthusiasm would be appreciated. You can do this tech shite magic, cant ya? No remote tap into their feed?
  242. [16:14:01] <Dallas> The good news is the drones won't be able to follow us underground if we take that route. *beat* At least, I don't think they will. Kinda tight.
  243. [16:14:33] <Jimmy> No, no they won't be able to go underground. ?D be too tight.
  244. [16:15:02] <Jimmy> And I'm bloody focused, cunt. I'm taking this shite seriously.
  245. [16:15:27] <Hoxton> *A mean grin on Hox' face* Better.
  246. [16:15:39] <Dallas> All right--all right, we're all just trying to make sure we pull this job off right. No harm done.
  247. [16:16:09] <Dallas> *And then--a thought strikes Dallas.* That dog of yours.
  248. [16:16:19] <Hoxton> *Hox nods briskly, arms crossed in front of his chest* We can agree the tunnels might .....*He stops, watching the boss*
  249. [16:16:27] <Jimmy> .. Dot? What about her?
  250. [16:16:54] <Dallas> Dot, yeah. Think she could scout for us?
  251. [16:18:22] <Jimmy> *A mischevious grin spreads across Jimmy's face.* Whole bloody reason I built her was so she could blend in, course she can!
  252. [16:19:37] <Hoxton> Blend in? Ya got more....dunno. Skins for her?
  253. [16:19:46] <Dallas> She's cute, too. Doubt most Murkies would wanna harm a hair on her head. *beat* Take her with us. She can keep a lookout.
  254. [16:20:37] <Jimmy> Got a doberman puppy skin. Think she's a guarddog in training.
  255. [16:21:08] <Hoxton> *Hox looks pretty blood baffled and slowly goes.* Well...they used to have guard dogs there. Before the drones.
  256. [16:21:18] <Hoxton> That's what the fellas told me.
  257. [16:22:03] <Jimmy> ... Could still work. ?S a bloody puppy. Nobody hurts puppies.
  258. [16:23:26] <Hoxton> Still. A place where no puppies are supposed to run about? *He raises his hands a little* Just takin precautions here, mate.
  259. [16:23:50] <Jimmy> Nah, nah. I get that.
  260. [16:24:11] <Dallas> There were a couple weak spots in that perimeter fence. A dog could easily squeeze through.
  261. [16:24:58] <Hoxton> Ah. And then I guess she can be...controlled, yeah? Ya mentioned that.
  262. [16:25:17] <Jimmy> *Jimmy nods.* Yeah, yeah. I can control her manually.
  263. [16:25:33] <Hoxton> Bloody hell. Can ya make another bird or summat? Holy shite Bain would wet himself.
  264. [16:30:30] <Jimmy> ...'D be a risky move, but a lotta shit would be easier if we could get a scout.
  265. [16:31:44] <Dallas> Guards are less likely to interrogate an animal. You put a tag on her, they might even be inclined to return her to her owner.
  266. [16:31:57] <Dallas> Or... take her into their office out of the cold while they contact the owner.
  267. [16:32:08] <Dallas> *Or straight up kick her into the Potomac. Wouldn't put it past Murkywater.*
  268. [16:33:32] <Hoxton> Well. The corgi it is. *Beat* Cant believe I'd say somethin like that.
  269. [16:34:06] <Jimmy> Me an' Dot like to defy expectations. Make people question their life decisions.
  270. [16:35:19] <Dallas> *Dallas can't help a chuckle there.*
  271. [16:36:15] <Hoxton> Well mission bloody accomplished. *Hox gingerly stretches himself. A beer would be nice. And then another thought strikes him. Shit he owes money to that guard.*
  272. [16:36:21] <Dallas> I gotta say, I'm kinda curious. When you sent your dog here with the recording-- If one of us had shot her, and I'm not saying we would've--could you have fixed her?
  273. [16:36:43] <Hoxton> *Interesting. THIS IS BETTER THAN THE GUARD.*
  274. [16:37:55] <Jimmy> ... Yeah, yeah. Probably woulda damaged the loot inside- *He makes a mental note to empty the dog out into the safe before the mission* but she woulda been ok.
  275. [16:38:43] <Dallas> *Despite expecting the answer, Dallas looks frankly baffled. Beat.* And you?
  276. [16:39:03] <Hoxton> *Beat* This is kinda mindbogglin. *he squats down, calling the dog to himself. He hasnt yet patted her. Does she feel solid?*
  277. [16:39:20] <Dallas> *Then an unpleasant thought strikes him.* Could we have fixed the other one? Suavey--whatever?
  278. [16:39:44] <Dallas> *Thing is--suave Jimmy's weighed down at the bottom of the icy black river right about now. Ugh.*
  279. [16:39:54] <Dallas> *What a way to spend eternity.*
  280. [16:40:17] <Jimmy> .. What do ya mean, ?and me?? *No, the dog doesn't feel solid. Lotta fur.* If I could, I woulda. Where he shot himself, fucked up the whole mainframe.
  281. [16:40:40] <Dallas> *Mild relief.* Oh, good.
  282. [16:41:48] <Jimmy> But me, it- it'd have to depend. If it wasn't too bad, I can fix myself. If not, probably have to track down m' creator. That's not easy.
  283. [16:42:48] <Dallas> At least you can be fixed. That's better than nothing. *pauses* All right, I'll get Bain on the line. What do we need?
  284. [16:43:14] <Hoxton> *Quietly ruffles the dog. But he looks distant as he listens in. After the close call with the sniper...the thought of being basically unbreakable has it's temptations.*
  285. [16:43:28] <Dallas> *YOU FOOL, IT'S NOT IMMORTALITY.*
  286. [16:43:39] <Dallas> *Go play SOMA, Jim.*
  287. [16:44:31] <Jimmy> Uh.. the disguise, and anything he knows about the drones. I think.
  288. [16:44:40] <Hoxton> *I DONT KNOW SOMA.*
  289. [16:44:53] <Dallas> *GODDAMN IT, JIM. WHY'D YOU HAVE TO GO TO PRISON FOR SO LONG.*
  290. [16:45:02] <Jimmy> *GO PLAY DETROIT BECOME HUMAN THEN. NORMIE.*
  291. [16:45:11] <Hoxton> *I AM TERRIBLY BEHIND SHITE. ALSO PC MASTER RACE.*
  292. [16:45:34] <Jimmy> *FUCK OFF YOU CANT PLAY PERSONA*
  293. [16:45:36] <Hoxton> And a water vehicle. And somethin to mess with that cam unless we just shoot it out.
  294. [16:47:28] <Sydney> *Sydney meanwhile had snuck out to keep working on the mask.*
  295. [16:48:32] <Dallas> Gotcha. *He goes to call Bain up, makes a little detour to Sydney's workshop.* Hey--need anything from Bain for this job?
  296. [16:49:06] <Sydney> An invisibility cloak would be nice. But nah, I'm good.
  297. [16:53:26] <Jimmy> *Dot's decided to waddle over to Sydney's workshop. She thinks it smells nice.*
  298. [16:53:47] <Dallas> *Dallas nods, vanishes outside into the alleyway behind the building to make the call.*
  299. [16:54:28] <Sydney> *Sydney shoos Dot away.* No pets allowed when I'm workin'. Fur gets everwhere.
  300. [16:55:00] <Jimmy> *She's looking at the masks. Pretty...*
  301. [16:55:54] <Sydney> Shoo! I'm not kidding!
  302. [16:56:37] <Jimmy> *She pouts, but she moves away, laying down on the floor.*
  303. [16:57:36] <Hoxton> *Hox wanders over to the workshop, feeling a little daunted being alone with Jimmy. Holy mother of robot. He watches Sydney for a moment.* Shite he's gettin a mask?
  304. [16:58:42] <Sydney> *Sydney nods.* Duct tape won't do much good, will it? *She's still working on the sculpting, but she's got sketches of the finished product scattered about.*
  305. [17:01:03] <Hoxton> Might make him stick around. So I'd be careful. *He chuckles but then goes carefully.* Is it just me or is this...kinda a lot to take in?
  306. [17:02:12] <Sydney> I mean, yeah, little bit. I'm still not 100% convinced this isn't a really really long and vivid dream.
  307. [17:04:18] <Hoxton> Makes two of us. *He rubs his face and heads for the alley.* I need a bloody smoke.
  308. [17:05:12] <Sydney> Have fun. *She continues working.*
  309. [17:07:42] <Hoxton> *Hox steps out to the alley, fumbling for the pack of cigs and the lighter. And yes, he is also curious to hear how Dallas explains this to Bain.*
  310. [17:07:53] <Dallas> *THANKS EVER SO MUCH, JIM.*
  311. [17:09:29] <Jimmy> *At the current moment, Jimmy's found his way to the basement. He's poking around now.*
  312. [17:10:08] <Dallas> *Dallas is mid-conversation with Bain. Skipped most of the pleasantries straight into the meat of the matter, as it were. He's pacing around like a tiger in a cage, restless look, calm tone of voice. Something about wanting to make absolutely sure this Jimmy character was for real before reaching out to Bain. Not wanting to waste his time. For the most part, he glosses over their case tonight, leaning on Jimmy's notes as the basis for his materials requests.*
  313. [17:12:01] <Hoxton> *Hox leans against the cool wall of the building, lighting his smoke. Does he feel a little bemused by Dallas' valiant efforts? Yes of course but then he doesnt envy him. This feels fucking surreal. He watches him pace, mentally readying a smoke for him as well. Fellas will need it.*
  314. [17:14:14] <Dallas> *Hey, Jimmy--nice bank of screens down here with some grainy black and white feeds of cams in and around the safehouse. A neat little range through this doorway with two disassembled rifles lying on the bench. And what's this thick steel vault door at the end of the hallway?*
  315. [17:14:18] <Jimmy> *Dot's discovered the outside!! She's in the snow now. She likes it.*
  316. [17:15:13] <Jimmy> *Jimmy's stuck on the cameras. Ancient shit.*
  317. [17:15:26] <Dallas> *Dallas lets out a slow breath, gesturing even though Bain obviously can't see it.* Yeah, I'll wait. Take your time. *He looks around--catches sight of Hoxton. Comes over to grab the cigarette from him and take a long drag without asking.*
  318. [17:15:51] <Dallas> *Fuck your moral support, he needs nicotine and fast.*
  319. [17:17:51] <Jimmy> *Dot's found the hole she made the last time she was here- she's working on making it bigger. Gonna have a whole cave.*
  320. [17:18:04] <Hoxton> *Hox raises one eyebrow but goes to light himself a new one before speaking up. No hard feelings, mate. He wouldnt want to swap roles* How did it go?
  321. [17:20:29] <Dallas> *Dallas just nods, moving off again as Bain gets back on the line. A couple "yeah"s and "okay"s later, and he gets off the phone and says to Hox* So that's a no on Sydney's invisibility cloak, but he's gonna handle the rest.
  322. [17:22:06] <Hoxton> *Hox watches him closely, taking a long drag himself. You know what. It's no pity but respect. Gotta take something to handle this odd mess.* Aw shite. And here I was looking forward tugging murky caps. *He goes serious again* Was he mad?
  323. [17:27:12] <Dallas> *Dallas shakes his head.* Took it in stride. *And that's about all he's willing to say on the matter. He quickly smokes the cigarette down, stubs it out on the wall.* Thanks for the smoke.
  324. [17:28:19] <Jimmy> *Dot is now back inside. She's covered in snow and dripping everywhere.*
  325. [17:30:48] <Hoxton> Huh. Good. As soon as those twenty five million get moved, I am sure he's all sweet again. *He simply shakes out another smoke, offering it to him.* Ya look like ya could use another. *beat* 's been pretty intense eh?
  326. [17:32:42] <Dallas> Thanks, but--I'm good. *Though he takes the cigarette, safely tucking it in his pocket. What kinda man turns down a cigarette, right? In prison, you don't disrespect a guy like that, so Dallas abides.*
  327. [17:33:44] <Hoxton> *Hox nods, and then rubs his face.* Ya ever get the feelin this is a weird dream or summat? I mean...*lowers his voice* He's fuckin robot...somethin.
  328. [17:35:43] <Dallas> *Dallas says nothing, but looks vaguely troubled.* He seems real enough.
  329. [17:36:02] <Dallas> *He nods towards the door.* You coming? Colder than a witch's tit out here.
  330. [17:36:52] <Jimmy> *Dot's laying on the floor, snow still melting. She wants to Shake but she Cannot...*
  331. [17:39:56] <Hoxton> *One deep breath and he nods, straightening.* Ya bet. But ya know what? We can do this. The murky shite, I am pretty sure. *And almost as if a little embarrassed* Ya doin a great job, mate. Shite I wouldnt wanna switch with ya.
  332. [17:40:54] <Hoxton> Explainin this shite to Bain? Sure hope his next holiday share will be big. *He chuckles, lighting himself another smoke*
  333. [17:41:55] <Dallas> *Dallas frowns. After a moment, he says rather stiffly* Thanks. Appreciate it, buddy. *His eyes go down to the cigarette, and he heads on back into the laundromat on his own.*
  334. [17:43:42] <Jimmy> *Dot's rolling around. She's trying to get the snow off but Jimmy'd be mad if she shook and got it everywhere*
  335. [17:43:43] <Hoxton> *Hox quickly follows him. Still smoking but cant be arsed to extinguish it yet.* So it's a cat and dog now. Jesus.
  336. [17:45:55] <Dallas> *under his breath* Holy shit. *And he's moving off to find a nice big towel to dry the dog off, grumbling* Who let the damn dog out?
  337. [17:47:17] <Hoxton> Ya know what, that's not a bad question really. Could be the dog itself...or Coke fella there.
  338. [17:47:24] <Jimmy> *Dot yips in response. She let herself out, damnit.*
  339. [17:48:09] <Hoxton> Jesus what's it doin? *Hox limps towards the kitchen, searching for some towels before this thing floods the place*
  340. [17:48:44] <Dallas> *Dallas comes back with a thick towel, awkwardly holding it open to the dog. Trying to find a good angle from which to make his dog burrito, but then giving up and just rubbing her dry from where he's crouched.*
  341. [17:50:29] <Hoxton> *Someone give him a cam to immortalize this moment*
  342. [17:51:08] <Jimmy> *Jimmy comes back up now.* Aw.. shite. Thought she knew not to go outside- sorry, man.
  343. [17:51:23] <Hoxton> *Hox stands in the doorway to the kitchen. A moment of silence then the little telltale snap of a picture being taken*
  344. [17:52:37] <Dallas> *Dallas looks up.* No harm done. At least she didn't run out in to traffic. I'll let you take it from here, huh?
  345. [17:52:54] <Dallas> *Brief glance at Hoxton. You little shit!*
  346. [17:53:18] <Hoxton> *Big grin from Hoxton there. This pic will be treasured.*
  347. [17:54:00] <Jimmy> *He nods.* Yeah, yeah, gotcha. *He kneels down, grabbing the towel and swaddling Dot in it, chuckling.* C'mon, you know not to go out in the snow- it's cold and wet.
  348. [17:55:30] <Dallas> *Phew. Dallas steps back to let him fluff the fluffy puffy, says* Just got off the phone with Bain. He'll take care of the construction worker getup. Boat, too.
  349. [17:55:40] <Jimmy> *Dot is very happy right now. She's like a little babey.*
  350. [17:55:54] <Jimmy> *He nods.* Good, good. That's good.
  351. [17:58:11] <Hoxton> Well then. When we gotta pull of this caper?
  352. [17:58:40] <Jimmy> The night of whenever we get the stuff.
  353. [18:00:02] <Dallas> *Dallas chuckles.* Fuckin' wise guy. Bain can have the materials ready by tomorrow night. *to Jimmy* How soon can you get your hacking... setup finished?
  354. [18:01:20] <Jimmy> Looked into the panel model, figured out it wouldn't really require anything external. I can do it easy.
  355. [18:02:32] <Hoxton> *Hox chuckles but there is no edge in his voice* Fuckin show off.
  356. [18:03:27] <Hoxton> So ya gonna do the construction guy. Ya know what? This could work.
  357. [18:04:06] <Dallas> Let's take a run at it tomorrow night, then. I'll let Sydney know. *And he heads over to the workshop to relay these new developments to her.*
  358. [18:04:43] <Hoxton> *Hox watches him go, then turns to Jimmy* So...ya mentioned this Akan fella. Who's that?
  359. [18:05:01] <Sydney> *Sydney acknowledges him with a muttered,* Aces. *She doesn't turn to look at him, focused intently on her project.*
  360. [18:05:41] <Jimmy> *He's set Dot down on the couch now. She's keeping the towel on, she likes it.* Billionaire tech engineer. Also a fucking sociopath.
  361. [18:05:54] <Dallas> *Dallas has been around enough artists to know better than to disturb her at her craft. Information relayed, he quietly retreats back out of the workshop.*
  362. [18:08:00] <Hoxton> So he's.....completely human? And sociopath huh. Just....well ya think any chances we run into him?
  363. [18:09:20] <Jimmy> ... Hopefully not. He doesn't like to actually go to his labs, much less one in the middle of Russia.
  364. [18:11:19] <Hoxton> So he...I am just tryin to get a picture. Did he develop...your tech? I mean sociopath or not. This is kinda fuckin impressive.
  365. [18:12:32] <Jimmy> No, no. I- my- my creator developed it. Then he broke all his bones and stole it. *He says this very matter-of-factly.*
  366. [18:14:26] <Hoxton> *He takes in a sharp breath* What the fuck.
  367. [18:14:47] <Hoxton> And...your uh creator survived that?
  368. [18:15:34] <Jimmy> Yeah. He's in a wheelchair now, though.
  369. [18:16:47] <Dallas> *Dallas in the background, moving back to the heist wall. He rummages out a red pen and marks down a couple spots on the map. Points of interest, spots where Twitch might be able to park while waiting for them.*
  370. [18:17:28] <Hoxton> *baffled silence and then a hearty curse* Good to know we are fuckin with a scumbag then.
  371. [18:17:57] <Hoxton> Sick fuck. Deliberately maimin people? Jesus fuckin christ.
  372. [18:18:28] <Jimmy> ... Yeah. So, since I shared my tragic backstory, can I ask you a question?
  373. [18:18:44] <Hoxton> Sure. Whaddaya wanna know?
  374. [18:19:33] <Jimmy> What happened to your face?
  375. [18:21:10] <Hoxton> *Hox flinches a little.* Forgot to roll over in the sun. UV's a bloody menace in the states. Nothing for us delicate brits.
  376. [18:22:29] <Jimmy> *He doesn't buy it, of course. But Hoxton doesn't wanna answer, he respects that.* Ah.. okay.
  377. [18:24:18] <Hoxton> *Hox nods, the flinch quickly gone.* But mostly? Good fuckin genetics, mate.
  378. [18:27:28] <Dallas> *Dallas comes over to them.* All right, gentlemen. That about wraps it up, I think. Anyone's hungry, there's a couple Boston creams and bear claws in that box over there. Get plenty of rest, and let's regroup tomorrow afternoon and get everything else sorted then.
  379. [18:28:19] <Jimmy> *Jimmy nods, standing up and picking up Dot.* We'll be headed out, then. See ya.
  380. [18:28:53] <Dallas> *Could invite him to stay over, but Dallas just nods and watches him leave.*
  381. [18:30:26] <Hoxton> *Hox looks up at the prospect of food and heads for the kitchen, mumbling gratitude. They might catch a flash of hand rubbing the scarred side of his face. But the donuts call.*
  382. [18:31:30] <Jimmy> *Jimmy's out the door in a few more minutes, Dot yelping a little 'farewell'.*
