I bet I'll win more gold stars

Alexithymiaa: -Steph laid on her stomach on one of the lounge chairs near the bon fire, her sketchbook resting down in front of her with a pencil in her hand just kind of casually flicking and making lines here and there on her page. Her eyes flicked over to look at Felix briefly before looking back down at her page and continuing to sketch.-
Covet: Felix was over poking the fire a bit, getting it all stoked up and warm for them. Then he went to look scavange around in the cooler for something to drink and maybe the food things. "What are you drawing over there?" He asked her, fidgeting around, clearly having an issue stayint still.
Alexithymiaa: "Shhhh." She shushed him, keeping her eyes on her sketchbook as she tipped her head to the side and scribbled some lines closer together for shading. "Can you sit still for like ten minutes?"-
Covet: "Why are you shushing me?" He asked then turned around when she asked him to sit still, "Do I have to?" Felix added then pulled out an apple juice, sitting down again. He opened it up and tipped it back, recapping it after a couple of drinks, then proceeded to play with the bottle. he was watching the fire, but every now and then he look around getting distracted again.
Alexithymiaa: "Yes." She spoke in monotone, her eyes flicking up to look at his face again before dropping down to her picture. "You're making this much more difficult than it has to be. Drawing you is like trying to draw a rambunctious puppy."
Covet: "You chose to pick me as your subject." Felix said looking at her. He dug into his pocket, reaching for his cigarettes because he couldn't wait any longer. Taking one out of the pack he put it to his lips then lit hit with is lighter inhaling, hunched over leaning on his knees.
Alexithymiaa: -She heard the flick of the lighter and looked up, her face dropping when she saw him lighting a cigarette. She watched him for a long moment before chewing on the inside of her cheek. "How many did you smoke today?"-
Covet: Felix inhaled again, blowing out a cloud of smoke. "I think this is six? or seven?" He told her, glancing over at her. He was mostly still, now that his focus was on something.
Alexithymiaa: "That's one less than your average for last week." She spoke in a cheerful voice, her smile spreading over her lips. She watched him carefully before looking back down at her picture, filling in some basic detailing.-
Covet: "Mhhm" He said giving a nod, "Well, if I don't have one before bed at least." Felix added, as his gaze went back to the fire. " How have you been doing with everything? It seems like you're almost back to a more normal you."
Alexithymiaa: "You don't need one before bed." She corrected him, setting her pencil down on top of her sketchbook to give her hand a rest. "I've been okay, I guess. I mean every day is kind of a new struggle, but I feel like I've been able to stay appropriately busy so I'm never really alone with myself. That seems to be the answer."-
Covet: "I might need one before bed." He retorted under his breath, then listened to her. " That's great. If that ever changes, please let me know." He said giving her a sincere look. "If I could get a heads up before even you realized it I would, but I'll settle for knowing as soon as you recognize it."
Alexithymiaa: "How would i give you a heads up before I realized it?" She asked with a small laugh, flexing her fingers before picking up her pencil again. "Right now... pushing myself to eat has been a little harder than it was a couple months ago, but I'm working on it and managing."-
Covet: "I know, it was a dumb thing to say." Felix laughed, "If you need me to give you a nudge or a reminder to at least grab a snack, I can do that." He said with a smile, trying to take a peek at her sketchbook.
Alexithymiaa: "It's not that I don't remember. I remember. I just don't want to. I'm forcing it." She said with a little bit of a sigh, filling in his hair a bit before finally turning the picture toward him so he could see the rough sketch she'd been working on.- (SKYPE)
Covet: "Hmmm, how can we make it more bearable for you? So you're not forcing yourself, or at least it doesn't seem like you're forcing yourself." He asked her looking at the sketch, " Ooh, I'm so flattered, And you did just fine with me moving around." He said shaking his head, with an eyeroll.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm not really sure. If I knew that, I wouldn't be struggling." She glanced down at her picture, shaking her head. "Just imagine how much better it would be if you sat still." Setting it down on the chair, she pushed up to her feet and straightened her sweater, walking over to pick up a stick so she could poke at the fire.-
Covet: "Would it make you feel like too much of a pet, if you had some sort of reward system for yourself?" Felix asked her then shook his head, " I don't know how to sit still, those words don't even compute up here." He said pointing to his head. He rolled and reached into the cooler to grab a few marshmallows out of their bag, and tossed one at Steph, just to be a brat.
Alexithymiaa: -She put her hand up to block the marshmallow, swatting it down before glaring at him. "What kind of reward system are we talking here?' She asked him, going back to setting her stick on fire and slowly waving it back and forth with small flames.-
Covet: Felix smirked and held on to the other two until she wasn't looking at him again. "It could be anything. What's something you find to be a particular treat or splurge you don't normally do for yourself?" He tossed another marshmallow at her now that she was playing with the fire again.
Alexithymiaa: "Uhhh..." She had to take a minute to think, not paying attention and having the marshmallow actually hit her this time. She snapped her head to stare at him quickly. "Arizona! Quit throwing your food. Especially at me."-
Covet: "Caaaaalm Doooooown. It's just a marshmallow, a little cylinder of sugar and air, it's harmless." He told her, "It can be ANYTHING. Traveling, shopping, et cetera." Felix told her popping the uncooked marshmallow in his mouth to chew it up.
Alexithymiaa: "They are not harmless if you put them in the freezer." She spoke quickly, because she Bryan had a marshmallow gun and knew how to make it hurt more. (true story) "I don't know. I guess I don't really do anything for myself..."-
Covet: "Well these ones aren't frozen, so hush." He told her reaching for the one she'd swat away so he could toss it at her, "That means we should figure something out. It's all good to doing your best, but it might be better to set some small goals, give you that sense of achievement."
Alexithymiaa: "I guess...." She trailed off, picking up the marshmallow he just threw and tossing it back at his head before dropping her fire stick into the big fire. "Sounds like it would be a good idea for you, too."-
Covet: Felix brought his arms up to block the marshmallow, giving a laugh, "Why? I don't need a reward system for anything." He said because this guy is still in denial.
Alexithymiaa: -She raised her brows, moving to drop down next to him. "Uh... yeah. Yeah you do. You need a reward system even more than I do because at least I keep on myself about my bad habits."-
Covet: Felix rolled his eyes, "But I reward myself for bad behavior, just as much as good, so would it really be that effective?" He asked her, giving her a cheeky fucking grin, like that'd get him out of anything.
Alexithymiaa: "Or... OR!" She waved her hands dramatically like she was having an epiphany. "Or.. we could make some sort of reward system to help you stop smoking and simultaneously stop arguing with me about it? Yeah, that feels like the best option."-
Covet: "You should use poster board and stickers and make me a reward chart." Felix said, leaning back looking at her. "Since you're so dead set on me having one so bad. BUT this wasn't about my reward system, this was about yours."
Alexithymiaa: "I could do that. And every time you smoke less cigarettes than your average, you get a gold star. And maybe after ten gold stars, you get to pick a prize?" She asked, kind of basing this on some preschool type of shit. "Remember that time I said we were going to do this together? This is exactly what I meant. Your struggles and my struggles are now our struggles."-
Covet: "Okay so then there's going to be two charts and double the gold stars. Does this mean that it's a competition between us?" Felix asked raising his eyebrow. "And the prizes need to be better than Dollar store trash." He added, as if it was a very important part of this.
Alexithymiaa: "You even need to as if this is a competition?" She asked a little sharply because who the fuck does he think he's talking to. "Agreed. We can get like... I don't know. Something else. We'll figure it out. But the point is that we're both doing this and when you make progress, you get gold stars for prizes."-
Covet: "And when YOU make progres, you get gold stars for prizes." Felix said back to her, "I bet I get more prizes than you do." He told her pointing his finger at her, taunting her.
Alexithymiaa: "I bet you don't." She teased back, poking her finger into his chest. "I bet I completely dominate your lousy amount of gold stars."-
Alexithymiaa: (The reward system isnt the motivation. The competition is.)

Covet: [This was supposed to be something friendly and encouraging, but no.. somehow these two make it into a challenge.]
Alexithymiaa: (Dont act so surprised)
Covet: [I'm really not XD]
Covet: "Challenge accepted, Red." He said then grabbed her, so he could roll her over and give her a kiss and they could make out until the fire got too cold.
Alexithymiaa: -And they all lived happily ever after until someone has to have less gold stars.-
