The Frost Princess

The Frost Queen is the consort of the Ice King, a demon of high caliber who rules the frozen wastelands of the Far North. She was once the daughter of the king of a moderate, stable kingdom whose border ran along that of the Ice King's. One day, the cursed king sent a raven to the castle and demanded a tribute of the princess. Seeing no choice, the old king sent her to avoid to Ice King's wrath. She now lives with the cursed one in his castle, seeming to be his wife despite the fact that there is little interaction between them except for when they meet for meals.

The Frost Queen has the name of Princess Mina Bellerose, but rarely shares it. She is a pretty young thing of perhaps twenty, with round eyes so deep a blue they almost seem violet. Her hair is a snowy white color, flowing in gentle ripples and soft curves down her back towards her hips, and she wears upon her brow a crown of ice that doesn't melt. Her gown is white and silken, clinging to her  lithe form, and she wears a fur-trimmed cloak of white as well. About her finger is a ring of white gold that renders her immune to cold, and suspended in age, rendering her virtually immortal, as well as will encase her in a dome of ice that will not melt or break if she is in danger. Other than what few gifts the ring bears, she has no powers and seems to be a normal human. She stands at five foot, four inches, and wears short heels of white that bring her to five foot, seven inches.
