MISC LAWS

At age 16, a citizen is entitled to the right to vote, drive, consume tobacco and
marijuana, consume alcohol, consume narcotics, and gamble. This is
also the earliest anyone can join into the military, should they desire to.

Anyone who wishes to be a citizen of the country need just declare themselves one.

Military and government conscripts everyone who is a citizen for training when they become of age
regardless of whom they are. You can opt out of this if a valid reason is provided.
Those with disabilities, mental or physical, will be given appropriate work training.
If you become a citizen past the age of conscription, you will be immediately drafted.
If you truly cannot work or do not want to, opting out is easy and encouraged. There is no
penalty for leaving even before or during basic training. No citizen is left behind. You
will still be granted a right to the universal basic income and chance to pursue your
line of work/trade as you wish to.

Different trades/skill areas receive different forms of basic training.
After completing basic training, you are free to go but will be called upon in a time
of war. A re-evaluation of basic skills is required every 6 months. Non-citizens who
fight on behalf of PRotIF will be granted immediate citizenship. Enemy combatants are
to be treated with the same humanity you would show any fellow citizen of the PRotIF.
Failure to comply will result in dishonorable discharge and you will be thrown out of
the country and put on a no re-entry list. Military/government work covers a broad
range of skills and careers, not just combat or medical oriented, for those that
truly do not want to be part of any form of combat and should think of it as a
chance to learn their desired trade. Some use this as a chance to become artists
or pick up a large scale farming operation, as examples.

There is a guaranteed basic income and healthcare is free and seen as a basic right.

Discrimination against any other citizen based on race, age, gender, sexuality, religion
or lack thereof, background, etc is illegal on all grounds for any reason.

Sex work is legal and protected. People abusing sex workers will be treated as criminal.

The consumption of non-alcohol or non-tobacco/marijuana narcotics are legal.

Gambling is legal. Cheating someone at it is not, unless it's a billionaire, in which
case it's really funny and you'll be given a medal.

Billionaires are 99% taxed and required to do community service. Their taxed money
is redistributed through charities and to pay for UBI.
