TV Tropes Pantheon Discord rant script

A bit of idiocy came up and although I could wait for a response, I'd rather not take the risk again of being on the bad end of a slander campaign from apathetic idiots. I had that happen to me before, thank you. But this is what happens when people just want to be jerks.

Today's idiots of the day are actually the members of the vanilla TV Tropes Pantheon Discord. By the way, vanilla TV Tropes, when are you going to clean up Kid Icarus Uprising's Game Breaker page from the outdated mess that it is? However, on the topic of the vanilla TV Tropes Pantheon, I tell these people to put RoahmMythril under review for becoming a case of We Have Become Complacent disgracing the concept of the Self Imposed Challenge, as displayed by his video of Startropics covering Magma the Fierce, who you may remember I did a No Damage Run a year and a half ago, in fact at the time partly to help him when he would inevitably do his own playthrough. Details explaining why would need its own comment, but I'm here to call out how the vanilla TV Tropes Pantheon Discord members somehow registered a calling out of hubris as some attempt to demand removal over some case of cheating. Uh, excuse me?

Yes, you see how this is going to get blown out of proportion, particularly when the "cheating accusations" are now talked about in publicly viewable comments and when RoahmMythril just gets fed a name, he's going to use that to make up some asinine byline claiming me to be "some nutjob" that his sycophants will eat up without asking any questions. Sorry, not this time. I'm making this video to provide evidence of what is really going on with the Pantheon mess. I did not accuse RoahmMythril of cheating. I called him out for unbecoming complacency and simply want the truth out there. And believe me, not asking for his removal from the Pantheon is me deserving credit after RoahmMythril COMPROMISED MY EFFORTS TO GET PROPER SUPPORT FOR FIXING MY PARENTS' HOUSE SO BADLY THAT THE QUARANTINE IS THE ONLY REASON IT WASN'T TORCHED BY TROLL SCUM.

Honestly, though, what do I expect when the Pantheon Discord has plenty of rudeness too. Besides that they asked "so" in their unwillingness to listen, they actually remarked how I should stop talking as some apparent part of the Speedrunning community. News flash, idiots: I am not part of the Speedrunning community. I do not make those awful "jokes" about the animals in Super Metroid, and MM has even stronger feeling against the treatment of the Etecoons and Dachora anyway, calling out the animal abuse. My pinned video is a rank run of Scorched Earth in Battalion Wars 2, and that happens when it actually handles rescuing Private Hazard, who isn't even needed for 100% Technique even in simply completing the objective for an NPC Grunt and it's not like I could need the buffer. Simple speedrunning in general just bugs me from all the glitch abuse, min-maxing demands, and liberal disregard to things like troop care, not helped in the least by blatant elitism. It's disgraceful that these people would even compare me to that.

Of course, you might claim that I don't know these people to begin with. Yeah, so when I rant about the issue in their RANT channel, they're decideing to be rude and pushy when clearly I had just joined the Discord server? Excuse me? This is a case where first impressions tells me everything I would need to know. And what I need to know is how hostile these people will be.

And by the way, if you're wondering why I'm fine making this, a rant doesn't have to worry about being lost to fatigue-induced slip-up from a factor 25 minutes in. In fact, I'm having LTTP on hold until I can get legal support for real life issues to freaking liaise with me, because Trinexx is still going to speak for himself, and I wouldn't be looking forward to Ganon's Tower either, thanks in particular to the 4th floor's Beamos spam mixed in with freaking ice tiles. I can at least fill dead time with datamining Secret of Evermore. And by the way, I found that the culprit of the Wings glitch is its forgetting to properly undo the spell target invulnerability flag, thank you Rimsalas. I think I'll write up the IPS patch for the non-headered US ROM to make my point for anybody interested, but either way, this sort of thing is something I can work on without issue. Beyond that, there's a reason I'm using my take of the Boardroom Suggestion meme image as this rant's backdrop.

The Pantheon Discord earns this video rant for attempting to muddle the truth. The mere idea of the Self Imposed Challenge getting slandered by Texas pride and apathy, while annoying beyond belief particularly when it's a marked change of the maker of the Napalm Man Perfect Run, doesn't change the Pantheon Discord pulling the same inane behaviors as Tucker Carlson.
