  1. Question 1: What job are you applying for?
  2. Wasteland Hitman
  3.
  4. Question 2: Please provide a short explanation of what the job does on an average day within the in the wasteland (min. 50 word.)
  5. A typical hitman will roam the wastes, either bluntly stating his profession to choice people who would not gain or have any weight from ratting out, or approaching factions (more often in war times) to offer an occasionally ambiguous service.
  6. After a hit is accepted, paid for and provided with a good RP reason for said hit the hunt begins. A hitman with patiently wait, observe and stay hidden for hours if need be. Once the target has been eliminated and the hitman survives they will often announce the completion, or head back if a second payment is due.
  7.
  8. Question 3: Why do you want to be this job?
  9. I see the hitman job as something with quite a heavy potential, I love to request jobs to create characters fueled by the unique rp only those jobs can offer, this is one of those. The Hitman is a severely underplayed and underused job, yet is a major presence and important turning point in many events and daily role-plays when it is available. From a military assassination to a wasteland dispute, the hitman is a force to not only keep people aware and on edge, but also to provide a unique service that would not otherwise be accessible. I would love to be able to interact with people and fulfill the rp that is involved with such a dirty deed. I want people to craft situations around the use of my character, and create a sense of fear and drama on small scales.

  29. (Mandatory) Question 10: Write some lore (min 50 words)
  30. Egor was raised for it, molded into it. Time were tough, in the wastes. Moving from town to town he never felt stable, never felt loved as his sole parent left him to starve and scavenge only to return blunt and bloody with wounds he expected tended to. Egor become a great medic, stitching and weaving up the tissue like it was a torn shirt. At 13 his dad was gunned down inside their shack.
  31.
  32. Time moved quickly, Egor wasn't stupid. He knew what his dad did, and he knew where to find what he'd hidden; with a little digging in choice locations he stumbled across the stash, a box of medical kits and a high powered rifle, packs of ammo to boot. He was small, unable to handle the recoil so he spent his teen years hitting targets, radscorpions, occasionally a ghoul or wasteland merchant who likely carried little beyond a pistol.
  33.
  34. Guilt wasn't a problem, his father made sure to remove it. Egor worked for years as a small time hitman, from cutting the throats of sleeping victims to laying landmines for heavier targets, he worked and he killed without a hint of hesitation. He never expected to be approached by the factions in the way they did, offering endless rewards for the assassination of high ranking targets. He found it beneficial to work both angles, take all the money and drugs they could offer. He was cold, and alone; killing was the most peaceful thing he could do to settle his mind in the empty wastes.
  35.
  36. Egor eventually happened upon a choice location, he had thought himself inhuman as to be incapable of basic emotions, yet when he uncovered ties to the death of his own father on the body of a well-dressed ghoul, he inexplicably made the choice to stay in that area and dig further. He liked to lie to himself and think he was there for the multiple opposing factions and wastelanders offering money for blood, but he knew it was a lie.
