Takes a beating from Cheetah and quickly retaliates

Blow after blow did Cheetah land upon Godzilla, drilling his head further and further into the floor to increase the depth of the hole formed beneath the kaiju. Blood was flowing from the monster’s face, a myriad of cuts and gashes courtesy of his opponent’s claws opening up his flesh to the open air, and coating Barbara’s hands, the catgirl grinning as she raised her arms up to deliver another set of crushing hits. Snarling in anger even as his own blood trickled from his rapidly healing wounds and into his toothy mouth, Godzilla released a beam of atomic might from his jaws just as Cheetah was to bring her fists downwards. Her eyes widening, Barbara was just able to swerve away from the incoming Atomic Ray, but it was far from a perfect dodge, for the beam scored a glancing blow to the left side of her head.
