* Reise is home at her apartment, just relaxing for a few minutes. Uytana, now that she's back on Sigil, usually comes home around this time, and she's hoping to see the bunny as soon as she does.
<Ikiryo>  It's not long before the door opens, revealing Uytana in what is seemingly her favorite outfit she got from her backup dancing, the white minidress, thigh high stockings and platform heels.
* Reise is up and out of her chair and squeezing her in a big hug almost before Uytana can even turn around from closing the door.
<Ikiryo> The bunny eldarin eeps, looking surprised but hugging back.
<Reise> Reise gives her a quick smooch and drags her over to the couch, pulling Uytana down into her lap. "How's my favorite singer?"
<Ikiryo> "I'm...I mean, I'm not much of a singer..." She blushes.
* Reise taps her nose. "No self-deprecation here, sweetie. I've heard you. You can put choirs to shame."
<Ikiryo> She blushes much more brilliantly. "Thank you..."
<Reise> Grinning, she loops her arms around Uytana's waist. "I'm just telling the truth, Tana. How've you been since we all got back here?"
<Ikiryo> "Umm...not that busy but alright." She nods. "I've been trying to go out a bit every day and talk to people."
<Reise> "That makes me unbelievably proud of you, hon." She squeezes her in a hug again. "You're showing how strong you really are by doing that."
<Ikiryo> "Well...I don't really have any other friends but...I go out and go places. It's steps." She nods
<Reise> "Steps that, half a year ago, would have scared you to death," she counters. "Anyway. Things are about to get exciting here. I want you to stay as safe as you can."
<Ikiryo> "...what sort of exciting?" She frowns.
<Reise> "We have about five days before the man in charge of the project I've been hunting since I arrived on Sigil, enacts his plan and erases free and independent thought across the multiverse. So before that happens...we're invading Yu Shan and taking him down."
<Ikiryo> "What...how...why?"
<Reise> "The guy in charge of the plan is as old as the Time Wars, Tana. He was there when it happened. Hells, from the sound of his little diary...he was behind killing the leadership of both the Syrne and the C'tan when they sat down to negotiate a cease-fire."
<Ikiryo> "...you'll want me there, right?"
<Reise> She smiles a little. "You might prove entirely invaluable, Miss Chronomancy. I've been practicing what you taught me here and there, but you're still *way* better at it."
<Ikiryo> "Well, I had a better teacher." She nods. "And I sorta meant well, I'm really tied to death. If I'm outside of fate, wouldn't I be immune to Yu Shan fate stuff?"
<Reise> She pauses, and then smacks her forehead. Hard. "Gods, I didn't even *think* of that."
<Ikiryo> "...huh?"
<Reise> "You and Khaira, both. You guys exist outside of fate. The two of you would be immune to, as it was told to me, random reflexive fate-reading garbage. The two of you could get the rest of us inside Secrets' HQ without anyone noticing."
<Ikiryo> "I...well...I guess? I don't know where that is but I could try?"
<Reise> "We have a couple days. I could show you around the place, if you want?"
<Reise> "Stupid apocalyptic plots aside, Yu Shan's a pretty nice place."
<Ikiryo> "Yeah?"
<Reise> "Mm." She nods, brushing some of Uytana's hair back out of her face. "Like nicer parts of Sigil, but everything's color-coded according to which bureau it's attached to. One of them has so much pink it almost makes me want to hurl."
<Ikiryo> "I don't think I could manage pink. I mostly do black and white..." She leans in close to Reise. "We could...umm...maybe make visiting a d-date?"
* Reise smiles widely. "Now *that* sounds like the best idea I've heard in days. Let's go, right now, there's time to walk around and then we can get dinner."
<Ikiryo> She nods. "Should I change? You said there is colour stuff?"
* Reise shakes her head. "We'll be fine. I've gone in all black before, after a shoot."
<Ikiryo> "Oh good...I don't have much in the way of colours in my wardrobe." She smiles and leans in to give Reise a small kiss on the lips.
<Reise> She moves her arms up to hold Uytana in place and draw it out for a few more seconds.
<Reise> Then she leans back. "Alright, let's get moving. It's a bit of a walk to the entrance."
<Ikiryo> She hops up off Reise's lap. "Alright. This should be fun."
* Reise smiles and grabs her hand to squeeze it, then busies herself gathering a few things--purse, shoes, sidearm--before escorting Uytana out of the building and across the city, to the lion-guarded gates.
<Ikiryo> The lions growl slightly as they smell the pair approach...watching Uytana carefully...but stepping aside when they see Reise is with her.
<Reise> "Now now, guys, she's a very nice girl." She pats the lions on their heads and passes between, bringing Uytana up and through the doors to the realm of the gods.
<Ikiryo> Uytana just stares in wonder as the looks about.
* Reise guides her through the streets, so seemingly normal except for most of the population being either sidereals or minor gods, and directs her girl to a nice-looking restaurant she'd seen a couple times, run by Serenity and ostensibly focused on its romantic atmosphere.
<Ikiryo> "This place is really pretty..."
<Reise> "Almost as pretty as you," Reise returns smoothly, helping Uytana into a seat in chivalric fashion before taking one of her own. A waiter hovers by (literally) and Reise requests a bottle of wine to start.
<Ikiryo> It's not long before two bottles of red are provided, one for Reise and one for Uytana.
<Ikiryo> "T-Thats not fair, you are a lot prettier than me..."
* Reise lifts an eyebrow at Uytana's separate bottle. "I was designed from the ground up, sweetheart. You got there all on your own. Bunny ears excluded, of course," she grins, pouring each of them a glass. "I love how you look with or without them."
<Ikiryo> "I mean, I wasn't this curvy before." Uytana's glass has a slightly odd smell to it.
<Reise> "You were getting there once you started living with me~ But that's neither here nor there anymore. You are a gorgeous girl and I thank my lucky stars you landed in my lap."
<Ikiryo> She blushes brilliantly...and bites her lip hard as she tries her glass.
<Reise> Dinner proceeds in a quite similar manner, with Reise taking every opportunity she can to flatter or at least compliment Uytana. Afterward the pair head out so Reise can show Uytana around town, pointing out all the different important locations for each of the bureaus. "The big pink place, there, that's Serenity's place. Our friend Britney works there. Then over on the other side, you can barely see it, that's Secrets. That's the one
<Reise> Eloise belongs to."
<Ikiryo> She nods. "The green one?" She gestures to the building in question.
<Ikiryo> Uytana seems a bit flushed after her drinks, almost a bit drunk.
<Reise> "Yeah, that's the one. The red one's War--funny how common that is. Khorne's big color is red, too. And the, uh, yellow place, that's Journeys, and then purple is Endings, which is kinda creepy if you ask me."
<Ikiryo> "I don't know if they'd really dislike me or really like me." She pauses. "I don't know which would be weirder."
<Reise> "...If I had to guess, I'd say liking you. I'll explain why after we go home, kay?"
<Ikiryo> She nods. "Anything else you want to do?"
<Reise> "That's up to you, Tana. I could keep walking if you like, or we could go home if you like. This is your date~"
<Ikiryo> She nods...and giggles, leaning in to kiss Reise passionately, if a bit sloppily. "I want you~"
<Reise> The little coppery tang to the kiss tells Reise all she needs to know about what Uytana had to drink at dinner. She grins. "Your wish is my command~"
* Reise hurries Uytana back toward the gates and out of Yu Shan.
