  17. How to Copy a Web Page to Word
  18. by Kevin Lee, Demand Media
  19. If you’ve ever tried to copy and paste graphical content into a word processing program, you might have had problems doing it. Programs such as Notepad cannot display images; Microsoft Word can, but you may wind up with only text if you paste content consisting of text and graphics. Web pages often contain headings, paragraphs, bullets, images and text. By learning how to select the right pasting option, you can copy a complete Web page from a browser directly into Word.

  57. Add more Web pages to the document if you like by copying and pasting from your browser to the document.
  58. You have the ability to select pictures, text and other objects in the pasted Web page by clicking them. Delete a selected object by pressing your “Delete” key.
  59. You can also select an image in the Word document, hold down your left mouse button and drag the image to a new location. By rearranging this content, you can change the way the original Web page looks and create your own version of it.
  60. Click “Keep Text Only” instead of “Keep Source Formatting” and Word pastes just the Web page’s text into the document. You’ll find this useful when you don’t need a Web page’s images.
