As I am sure you are aware, Support Services has suffered an extremely long time, and picking up the pieces in order to replenish the division and subsidary divisions has been a challenge. Since taking this position, I have noticed a large amount of employees under the Academy division simply have dismissed obligations causing the division to become synonymous with instability.

Over your tenure as commanding officer of Academy, I do not feel you have offered much remedy for this, nor has it been shown you've had an interest in doing so.

Within a matter of weeks, the entire Academy team has been revamped, with little to no interest from yourself in order to provide new processes or find fixes for the currently dated procedures. I of course do sympathise with you having other obligations away from PLPD work, but as do we all.

I feel that you have, and had the ability to perform exceptional police work, but this has not
been apparent within your role as Commanding Officer of Academy as of recent. I feel that it
is time for a new approach, and I am sure you can appreciate that.

If I were within your position, I would work tirelessly in order to prove my worth to the division, and find new ways to develop and fix the division, especially following a previous informal warning.

With all that said, I feel it is necessary to relieve you of your role as Commanding Officer of Academy. I do so in much sympathy, yet feel that this is the most beneficial approach for Academy and Support Services. I will allow you to decide on how you display this publicly (IE resignation from Academy, etc) however you are absolutely welcome to carry on duties as a Police Training Officer.
