- I was sitting at work the other night, feeling very introspective and needless to say not doing much working. I’m at this point in my life where for the first time I need to work constantly to be able to afford to live, and this constant working drains all of my creative energy and my lofty goals are beginning to drift out of frame and I’m assimilating to this routine that could very well be the routine I adhere to for the remaining years of my life. Needless to say, I was not getting much work done. I found myself browsing this local Improv theater’s website and I submitted my name and email in order to receive information regarding upcoming improv courses for beginners, because Improv has always been something that I’ve felt I have a natural talent for, like playing video games or…I can’t think of anything else off the top of my head. Coincidentally, my girlfriend had submitted my name to the same website, but using her email instead of mine. I felt kind of embarrassed at the idea of the course instructor receiving two emails about the same guy, but with different emails and slightly different answers to the survey they require users to fill out. I don’t want them to think I’m some sort of weirdo, so I’m going to show up to class simultaneously playing both Ben Bradleys. Luckily I have tons of unique hats which were the focal point of my character transformations.
