Cassius plane shifted to Waterdeep to collect his improved katana, after all this time. It was finally finished. He returned to the demiplane.

Vix harvested some of Noontide's cast off blood and feathers for Cassius. Cassius intended to give these to his alchemist for further processing.

The party plane shifted to the City of Brass. While there, they perused the marketplace and made some purchases. They made their way to Varsakh's, a slave market. Ivy purchased Effervesence, a hound archon, and personally escorted him to Celestia. He thanked her profusely for her good deed.

Vix purchased a death knight named Exquisite Agony. Formerly, he was a servant of Iyachtu Xvim, but his master had been consumed by Bane during his rebirth. This, incidentally, freed the death knight from his bond, but did not destroy him.

Cassius questioned a paladin named Maebelle. She described the ill fated expedition to Minauros in which she fled, and was the only survivor. Their intention was to recover the living blood of Ilmater, a timeless living specimen of the deific blood. This broke her paladin oath and cost her the powers she had worked so hard to obtain. Nevertheless, she described an intent to repent and a desire to be returned to her order house. It was the order house of the Knights of Ilmater, and was outside of Daggerford.

Cassius purchased Maebelle, and purchased several varieties of metal in the City of Brass.

Vix purchased the stock of onyx available in the City of Brass, going cartoonishly hogwild in doing so.

Cassius made good on his word and returned Maebelle to the Knights of Ilmater's headquarters outside of Daggerford. It was a bit awkward, as the headmaster, a human named Korr, was also Maebelle's husband. Korr went on to specify details of the failed mission. It was to recover the Living Blood of Ilmater, an artifact which which is said to have the ability to impart an aspect of the divine upon whomever drinks it. It is blood shed from the deity Ilmater. He offered a reward for this. It is underneath the Sinking City in Minauros, in a vault underneath Mammon's palace.

Cassius spends another day in Waterdeep.

The party spent a few days reading stat books purchased in the City of Brass during this interim.

The water naga eggs hatched, and they discussed what to do with them. Vix seemed disinterested in keeping them.
