— PERSONALITY:
Hyejeong is more on the tomboy side of things, she wears snapbacks and leather jackets and absolutely despises the word aegyo with a passion. She cringes at the TV whenever other idols do it and she will give the harshest death stare to anyone who even tries to make her act cute. The only person she would ever be slightly cute around is her love interest; and that's only because he showers her with compliments that make her cheeks flush red. Hyejeong is almost like the leader of the group, as when things start to get chaotic, she's always the one to step in and sort things out. She gives the other members advice if they're ever feeling down about themselves, and absolutely hates when people shit on her friends without reason. Hyejeong is a sweet girl under the cold exterior she lets off, and cares for people like they're her children. However she completely despises the beagle line— for reasons only known to herself. When she's asked to showcase her talent, that's when the bright and happy Hyejeong will come out, and she'll happily cook or do whatever the members (hosts if they're on variety shows) want her to do.

— BACKGROUND:
Hyejeong has always had a pretty face ever since she was a little girl, and looking back at pictures of when she was younger shows that. She had no desire to ever be a visual icon, however she always wanted to make her parents proud as they were struggling with financial income and debt. They all lived together in their small two bedroomed house, Hyejeong in one room and her parents in the other. It wasn't much but it still felt like home to her. High school was fair to her, and she didn't exceed with flying colours, but she got grades that were high enough to get her somewhere in life. When Hyejeong was 18, she got street casted by one of the staff members from JYP, and pretty much laughed in his face when he first approached her. She didn't believe what he was saying was true, until he handed her a business card and then suddenly she was a trainee.

— HOW YOU MET:
Hyejeong was walking to the nearest convenience shop, because her members were all begging her for coffee as it was late at night and they had been practicing for the entirety of the day. It was about 11pm at this time, and hardly anyone was walking the cold streets of Seoul. She was equipped with a mask over her face, even though no one would recognise the trainee quite yet. As soon as she entered the shop, she saw another person similar to her, in the aspect that they too had covered their face with a surgical mask. Hyejeong eyed him before sighing and going to get the coffee that the members were so desperate for. When she started to walk out the door with the bags of coffee in her arms and answering a text her mum had sent her, she bumped into someone and literally fell on her ass. Swear words immediately flew out of her mouth and she noticed it was the man she had seen earlier in the shop. He handed the bag to her and Hyejeong quickly stormed off without even uttering a thank you.

— FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Hyejeong wasn't being judgmental, but she was annoyed because he'd bumped into her when it was probably her fault for being so drawn to her phone. Hoseok kind of figured she was a trainee, because her eyes looked shattered, and she had the same expression he once wore.

— HOW YOU ACT AROUND EACH OTHER:
At first they don't really recognise each other and Hoseok can only remember her by the dirty blonde hair she had. When one day they were both performing at music shows, and he immediately recognised the hair with it's colour and length, shouting "hEY COFFEE GIRL" and she gave him the dirtiest look she could muster. However Hyejeong starts to feel bad after a while and gives him a second chance, her finally showing him a side that no one has really seen before. He gives her lame jokes and sweet smiles where as she returns the smiles and helps him with lyrics.
