- Defensive ranges for Claydol attacking Castform
- You will ALWAYS need to know whether Castform dies to Claydol EQ to utilize these strats properly. You may also want to check whether it can tank Claydol's Psychic, as if so you can potentially do the very fast strat 7.
- Where Castform levels up will change depending on whether it defeated the Fortree Gym Tropius or not. If it did beat the Tropius, level ups are on the Magma Hideout double and on the Mossdeep Gym double. I think (but am not sure) that if Swampert defeated Tropius, the only level up is on one of the Aqua Double fights.

- HP - Swampert's HP before getting to TnL (check in the double battle at the start of Mossdeep Gym)
- Claydol EQ - Is Claydol guaranteed to EQ Castform turn 1? (He will be guaranteed to EQ if his prediction roll says it will kill Castform. Refer to the damage ranges above. Don't risk ranges unless you really need the timesave from a faster strat)
- Tank Psy? - Can Castform tank Claydol's Psychic (Refer to damage ranges above)
- Strat - the strat you need to do based on the above 3 factors (refer to the strat list below)
- Abra Swap? - Whether you need to swap Abra to slot 2 before starting the battle.
- Revives - Number of revives required for this strat.
- Time - time the strat takes. Lower = gud

- On strat 6, heal to 96-113 before the battle. On strats 5 & 7, heal to 96-113 with Castform/Abra first turn
- On strat 7, it doesn't matter whether EQ kills or not.
- Note that strats 1-4 are quite risky, as they rely on getting torrent from Claydol on its final turn, which tends to hinge on whether it decides to hit Swampert with Psychic or Ancientpower.
