Reasoning: Having accompanied Cheryl and a group of cloth users in order to retrieve the Dragon cloth, Juju would volunteer to aid his comrades in the purpose of retrieving ARC gear. His loyalty to the ARC has not been questioned as he aspired to be a fine soldier, enlisting into the force in order to follow the footsteps of his mother-figure, Eeth-Nayn. She was killed when he was young, but she had been an integral part to his life, and he aspires to make her proud by doing his best to excel as a soldier. He had been spared the details of her death, but it isn't until this point in which he comes to realize that Cheryl was the one who had killed his 'Mother'. The same woman he's literally bled for in an effort to aid the scientist, she had kept what she had done as a secret. Enraged, Juju realizes that he had been aiding the very same individual who had taken one of his loved ones away from him, and who had consistently used others as a means of acquiring what she wanted. After being beaten to near death by one of the squids he fought, he'd attempt to at least try to stand up in an enraged state.
