  29.
  30. Overview:
  31. The latest design in Lyran space, the Rumbler (so named due to it's distinct
  32. movement style, causing movement sensors to register a design almost fifteen
  33. tons larger), the Rumbler uses older exclusively well known and cheap parts to
  34. maximize it's adoption and ease it into service
  35.
  36.
  37. Capabilities:
  38. The Rumbler mounts a very similar weapons arrangement to that of the Clan made
  39. Thor, however, the mech has much larger magazines for it's ammunition based
  40. weaponry, a large laser instead of the extended range PPC, as well as a trio of
  41. medium lasers as backup weaponry. However, on an Inner Sphere chassis, these
  42. weapons come at the price of an extra light engine, which has been protected by
  43. 12 tons of standard armor plate.
  44.
  45.
  46. Battle History:
  47. The Rumbler has so far been given priority to at least three manufacturing
  48. lines in the Alliance, with a regiment of the design built so far in it's first
  49. year of manufacture alone, making it's adoption very widespread, however, due
  50. to it's rather simplistic design, even units direly in need of machinery turn
  51. up their noses at it being on the front lines, relegating the Rumbler to
  52. militia units and second line forces.
  53.
  54.
  55. Deployment:
  56. Almost every unit in the LAAF has one Rumbler, but the concentration of the
  57. design goes up in militia units, and goes down in line units.
